Hardcore Rotation Checkin 3/24/05

Morning everyone!

Took a little break from the Hardcores this morning and did C&W - forgot how much I love this workout.

Next week I'm starting the Hardcore Muscle Endurance Rotation - I haven't even had chance to try the GS dvds yet :(

Scales were down again this morning - 57.8kg (the lowest I've been for nearly 10 years) :)

Eats:
porridge
ryvita & hoummous
seafood & quinoa salad
apple & nuts
chicken & veggies

Have a great Easter and try to keep away from the chocolate :) :)

Hi Everyone - 4th week of Fat Loss Rotation and I did MuscleMax Timesaver this morning. My stomach is still hurting and I can't get this stomach bug to go away. I had a hard time working my abs cuz of this. I think I'm going to repeat this 4th week's workout for next week and then see what Cathe posts for the April rotation.

Breakfast is the usual yogurt and shredded wheats. Lunch will be salad and dinner will be lowfat cheese, 1/2 wheat roll, baked tostitos and salsa with a sugar free DQ fudge bar. Yesterday at the work seminar, I had pretzels for a snack and lunch was pasta with red sauce and salad. I had a pear and apple for a snack.

Hi Everyone,

I did GS chest/Tris this morning. My abdominal region isn't sore from yesterday(I did 1 & 3 of coremax back to back). I thought I would have some doms today. Well, I have to go outside and shovel, once again.x( x( Will this snow ever end??

Good morning everyone!

Today was supposed to be a rest day, but I did Christi's Still Jumpin and Coremax 3.

Tomorrow is going to be GS - CT and GS - legs, ab hits, and stretch max.

Saturday is going to be a step day, don't know which one yet.

Easter is going to be a weight day, probably GS BSB and coremax 1.

I felt horrible this morning. So very tired, hit the snooze twice, had awful cramps to top.
I was going to do KM, but knew I wasn’t going to make it. I just did the leg drills and SM#1.
I haven’t had a rest day since 3/19 so I figured I was entitled to a slow workout today.
For breakfast had a big bowl of oatmeal and 2 Morning Star breakfast patties at 6am, and just finished a Dunkin Donuts wheat bagel at 9am.

It is supposed to be a rest day for me too, but I am going to do a steady step workout on an 8" box. I have been using 8" for over 10 years but have noticed my legs feel week when I use 8" in Lowmax on this rotation. I feel I am not getting enough stepping. I would definately not use 8" in Imax 3 due to the dangerous (for me) the side hopping off the step.

Conni, how do you like Christi's step tape?

Diane, congratulations on your weight and hip loss goal. I need to follow in your footsteps. I have 6 pounds to lose in order to reach your weight. I would be most happy just to lose 3 pounds, but an inch off from with waist to hips would be most welcome.;-)
I have 2 major tests coming up in May. I hate it that these are back-to back. Grr. These are going to be very very hard from what those before me have said. I would like to get my endurance and my weight goal under control before this nerve-racking test time comes up.
Yet after I get through these tests, then I will have transcription tests or a review test every week for the next 30 weeks. Oh Boy!

Nicole, how do you like your airdyne? Do you get a good cardio workout with it?

This weekend is our 34th wedding anniversary...I pray that I won't eat the entire cake, all the candy, or any other somethings I am not supposed to have.}( Lets all have positive thoughts that we can get through the weekend without too much system damage. :p So far my plan is to fill up on lots of water/tea so as to be too full to eat out of control. Fingers crossed.

I have all of Christi's stuff except for her latest 2 tapes, and I really like them. Very dancy, slightly lower in intensity than Cathe, but a good companion because of the differences.
 
Hi Ladies,

I did KPC cardio condition premix (37 minutes) and KM bootcamp instead of the 30 minute run. Last night I did ME.

Hi Ladies!

I'm modifying the FLR a bit still (was getting bored :( ). Today, I'm going to do GS Legs plus Leg Conditioning Drills from Kick Max, then walking lunges until I can do no more! After that...Stretch Max with the band to work the pain out of my thighs! :D

On a happy note- I was able to do 56 of the GS CT push-ups on my toes! I'm sore today, to say the least!

Hi Everybody!

This morning I did MM. I was feeling really loogy getting started but after I shook it off I was able to push myself to a couple of new levels. I didn't wimp out on static lunges (I started on my left leg today and was able to bang out all the reps on each side) and I mustered all my perservance and completed every rep of plie squats! I've been eating clean -- so much easier to do when you're up before 4AM grinding out these workouts! No way I'm gonna undo all my efforts! Have a great day friends! Stay strong!

Today I did Low Max Premix #4-7, and then did High Step Challenge cardio's only twice, doing each segment 2 X before moving to the next,this was a pretty intense workout, HSC Abs, MM abs, Core Max #2, then MM upper premix. Now I am off to see my granddaughter's play she is narrating.

Andrea congrats on your weight loss.

Believe it or not I was dripping today from riding my airdyne, and I did not even use the handles. (I like to read :D) It takes my mind off the cardio LOL. I find wearing my HRM really helps to keep the intensity up, and when I use the handles it is KILLLER}( It's nice to use as a warm-up before I pull out one of my dvds . Got it mainly for DH, and he does not ride it like he SHOULD. I have been on him about that lately. He will only ride it for like 10 minutes max. I think he thought it would be easier, and it's not.

I really am enjoying the hardcore rotation because I have been using the airdyne place of running, and I have a new appreiation for it!! I think it's kinda of nice to crosstrain with and I think I will continue to use it 1-2 days a week with my dvds.

Hi Ladies,

I have had quite a week. Work is crazy and everything else seems to be too..

Anyway, I did do a 5 mile run and Muscle Max tonight. I am not sure what rotation I am doing now. I am doing Hardcore workouts though. I just could not get into the Gym Styles this week for some reason.

Andrea, good job on the weight loss!
