Hardcore Rotation Check-In July 11

I guess I'll start the check in today!

Sorry I didn't check in on Saturday and Sunday. I'm constantly on the go and don't take the time to fire up the computer.

Saturday, my husband asked to workout together. Something he never does! He's really hardcore. Even though he is my height, he uses 95 lb dumbbells for incline bench presses and squats LOTS of weight (I’m not sure how much). So, I said, today is leg day for me. Since he agreed to join me in a Cathe w/o (huge gasp), I choose Leaner Legs. For me, I use this as a "finisher" to a heavy leg w/o, but since it's endurance I thought it might be fun to watch him cry. hahaha.
I tried so hard not to laugh! When we were doing sit-and-stands, it looked as if he were pushing out a baby!
Later that night, he inquired about Cathe's other workouts. (another huge gasp). I think I turned him into a Catheite.

I took Sunday off.

Today, I started with 200 walking lunges and a short jog around the block (about 800 meters), and then did Muscle Max.

Hi Guys!

I had some running around to do this morning. My DD and I had dentist appointments.

Thanks for starting the check-in Susan. I know I've said it before, but I love that your husband works out with you. Men, think they've done leg work, but what they don't do enough endurance work and that's why Cathe kills em!!


Sunday - I did a pre-mix of KPC and L&G

Today - IMAX 3 (I'm really starting to LOVE this workout), GS-C&T, and 2 mile high incline walk on my treadmill.

I hope all is well with everyone...have great workouts today!!

Hi ladies,

Susan--I had to laugh about your DH! That was a good story. Another Catheite is born.

I plan on a whole body workout later but I have no idea what to choose. I am trying to reserve some energy for this weekend. Here is what I have scheduled so far.

Sunday: 30 min. intense bikeride (jelly legs when I was done) and took the kids swimming for 3 hours.

Monday: high step workout??

Tuesday: KPC

Wednesday: bootcamp

Thursday: flying day

Friday: Advanced step class with Cathe

Mon, Tues, and Wed are still debateable. What do you ladies think?

I agree with Marietta it is so nice that dh worked out with you!! I always ask mine, but he never joins in. I know I would laugh though :7

Hey Susan I can't wait to hear how your butt feels tomorrow}( I have a date with those 200 walking lunges on Wed ;)

Today I did L&G and 25 min. cardio on my rebounder. My back does not like those one legged dead lifts. I decided next time I do these I will just do reg. dead lifts.

P:S: What do you all think of Cathes new dvds? Are you going to order? I think the covers look WONDERFUL!! Cathe and Cedie look GREAT!!
 
I just found time at work to check this thread. I can't believe I forgot to check in this morning. I could have sworn I did it. It's been that kind of day. I'm still convinced I did it somewhere. Maybe the wrong place? Oh well.

This morning I did Legs & Glutes followed by 25 minutes of Urban Rebounding.

Susan ~ that's great that your husband works out with you. Mine has been in the work out room doing his thing while I do a DVD. He's always amazed how Cathe is smiling, talking and doing her thing. I wish i could make it look that easy too. I would love for him to try a leg work out with me. Maybe I'll bet him or something. Who could resist a bet?!

I did GS-BSB that was all that was called for on the rotation, but I felt I needed a little cardio, so I did the first 5 intervals of Imax 3.

Marietta ~ I'm really starting to like this one too. Of course, I haven't done the whole thing at one time. I'm still working on the choreography. I left the DVD on while I did some stretching. Hats off to any of you that can finish that one! That looks like one tough work out.

Nicole, new DVD's already?! How did I miss them? I'm with you on those lunges Wed.

Sabrina ~ at first, I read your "flying day" and thought now what kind of work out is that! :7 I can't believe I forgot about the road trip! OK, it's late I need to get to bed! Have fun! Please find a computer and check in and let us know how it's going, OK?
