Hey Maniacs!!

Getting a late start here. Just got back from visiting dermatologist about the veins in my legs. Not sure I want to go thru with procedure now. Lots to think about and the doc there seems like a quack. No time to get into all the details. Stuff just didn't add up. So here I am and it is almost 2:30 and I have not worked out yet. No one is home. Where is everyone at my house? Dh took off today so I couldn't get on computer earlier.
Well I got to go do Plyo's now. Later girls.

Whenever you plan for the next concert...let me know. I just heard another one of Three Days Grace song...Pain. Like it. They are really good. Would love to see them with Buckcherry.

Hi Maniacs! I did Leaner Legs and abs this morning. Busy day today. Finally have time to post.:) I ate alittle before and did alot better.

Here is my workout(nothing earth shattering:))-lost count on some of the reps, and some might be wrong as it's hard to count with all the reps and different counts. Used body weight on calves as I wrote down what I just did.:)

Squats 43x?x1
Quarter dead lifts 43x?x1
Calve raises BWx?x1
DB Leg Press 10X16X3 each leg
Single leg squat 10x16x2 each leg

Lora-Maybe try the "Flylady" way of throwing away, like 27 things a day. I throw everything away lately. I'm simplifying. Clutter makes me nervous.

Randi-you are doing great with the workouts!

Anne-Just eat your pasta and be happy. Especially if your lose weight with it!

Suz-I think PlyoX might be my favorite too! I never dread that one.
I can wait for my vacation time either. It starts next Thursday until Jan. 5 for me:)

Toasty- Sounds like it didn't go so well at the Dermatologists. Darn. You've got to feel confident to get something done like that.You get Plyo in yet?

Storm - I keep forgetting to tell you my mom is French Canadian too. Grew up in Montreal. Speaks fluent French and I didn't know this until I was like 32!!!!! Her parents are from England and Wales and her dad refused to ever learn French (whatever) and when my mom was 18 they moved to Los Angeles. She doesn't say much about her childhood. We lived with my grandparents so grew up with their English accents but never knew about the French. Hmmm...

Suz, my DH is Canadian adn speaks a little French. His dad is fluent. He grew up in Ottawa, Ontario.

Char and Lora- I just got my C&S. Oils should arrive TH or Fri! Can't wait.

Dallys- I took the week of Christmas off from babysitting. We might go to Canada, but I would be happy staying home too. I also take a full week off in July too. Nice to be able to do that without needing approval from a boss.

My cough is giving me a headache. It is getting a tad bit more difficult to sit down! LOL! I really feel it in my core too. Still not sure what I am doing for my WO, but will decide shortly.

Very nice workout. Looks like you covered alot. Yeah, I may have to just stick with the vascular surgeon. I have the two issues. The spider veins and a few varicose behind knees. Those varicose are worse. I don't trust that lady doing my spider veins...she might create more of a problem for me. Just not sure about it. Uneasy feeling with her, in particular.

So finished plyo x. I really really really really really LOVE IT!!! Makes me feel like a wild little pussycat jumping and twisting and such. I love the Mary Katherine's and rock star hop, etc. So cool. I even forget I hate cardio while doing these moves. They are so so fun!!!! I returned my hrm for a new one. It is in the mail. Hope I get the new one that WORKS this time!

Suz, my mom used to yell at us in french. Used to Piss me off. Now i laugh.
Ok, Bionics..
I did the drill max cario scrambledeggs and 400 crunches. 100 at a time.I was going to do legs too, butnot after all that jumping.
Going to bath and hit the groc store. I left work early. DD is running the fort...

I do hate agility drills for some reason...Oh, when it started the warm up and did push ups , i about died. My chest still hurts...
LOL...I did do them from the toes i might add.

Char, how are you handling not working out 2 hrs a day???

Now, if you were Diane Sue with the olympic workouts...which amaze me by the way...I would say go for it...

I just got home from the doctor's. I got a slip to say I'm to be off on sick leave for medical reasons and he put the diagnoses codes on it. I have to take it into work in the morning and then I have another doctor appt. tomorrow with my pain doctor - just my regular visit.

I called that Real Estate place to set up my interview, but I had to leave a voice mail message.

Meg - What oils did you get? I love getting BPAL packages. I need to find a job quickly cuz the Carnivale update is in a few days and the Lupercalia (Valentine's Day) Limiteds will be coming, as well as the Valentine Inquisition at the Trading Post. I'd love to get a job and call my current job and tell them I quit!!!

Toasty - Yes, I feel the same way about all of Tony's cardio DVDs. They are like childs play. That's why I love the P90 Masters series also. There is an Interval Cardio workout like that and Plyo Legs and he has some other various cardio DVDs out there. They are very easy to play your own music and do too cuz the moves are easy to follow and they have the script on the bottom of the screen.

Dallys - Yes, clutter makes me nervous too.....especially when I'm PMSin like now........but I get overwhelmed very easily and freak out over all of the clutter. I have pitched things a couple times and regretted it....so now I'm afraid to pitch. I hope I get a job and won't have time to clean anything!!!!
 
Yes Anne LOL! I actually feel it more in my inner and front thighs then the butt! LOL!! Oh well, I do feel a little in my butt. I am going to try DM cuz it isn't TOO TOO bad, but if I am not feeling it once I start, I will go to UB. Atleast this is the plan.
Gotta let dinner settle and get the boys showered. They smelly!

Plyox is done! I also like that work out, it seems to fly by. It sure is a change from constant state cardio. I did check my heartrate once and it was 180, right after jump squats?

Yep..changed my avatar to zeus, my dad just sent me that picture he took while visiting, I think it's pretty with the bright green grass.

Thanks suz...yes, DH is hot, and the black and white pictures take at least 10 years off of both of us! He gets stopped a lot and asked if he's Ridge on B & B. It cracks me up.

Dallys...Thanks for the gift I checked out the link briefly, what is precision nutrition all about? I know you eat super super clean. If I get more time in the next few days, I will look at that more in depth.

Char, Anne's right about the surgeon aspect. You should probably see a vascular surgeon at least consult with one. Especially if your not comfortable.

Ok, I'm whooped...have been really hungry lately too. Off to bed, I know tomorrow is another back workout.

So, I went for it. Did Drill Max as produced. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this WO. It is pretty different from her usual stuff. I liked all the moves, and I didn't feel like it was overwhelmingly high impact. There were a few jumps, but not to bad. I like how she incorporated the ball in a lot of moves. I did not go as deep with the Leg portions since I already had some DOMS. Probably be pretty sore tomorrow. And your shoulders definately get worked good from every angle. I matched Cathe's weight on everything. Probably can go heavier on some of teh LB next time. Maybe some UB.

Maeghan, I love this one. I find myself trying to incorporate parts of it more than once most weeks. Lower and cardio is a really good premix. It really does hit the shoulders alot:) I am so glad that you got these.

We had our Christmas dinner. I actually ate pretty well. Herb encrusted salmon, salad with field greens and a custard with raspberry sauce. Well, maybe not the custard :D
