I suppose I am the one to get things started today. I am gonna work legs today, and since I feel extra bloated today, I am gonna work abs again.

Here is yesterday's workout:

Elliptical for 30 mins

(I cannot believe how much I improved with these..went up 5 more pounds for all)

(really went up much higher with these by 10# for all, but I did keep it lighter on purpose before cuz of my neck so I am thinking I can still go up another 5# by next time)

Today was boring cardio again. Watched a little bit of the movie "Just like Heaven" with Reese Witherspoon and Mark Ruffalo. I love that movie, it's so cute and funny.

Anyways, I barely broke a sweat this morning. I sure hope my endurance doesn't suffer with this lame cardio.

I won't be on much today since I have a lot to do so here are my meals for today:

Medium Calorie Day

M1: ON whey protein shake w/4 strawberries & 2 oz. banana (post workout)
M2: Chocolate Fudge BSN w/ 1/2 c. oats, 1 tbsp. Naturally More PB & 1 tbsp. ground flaxseed
M3: 4 oz. turkey on 1 slice Ezekiel bread; 2 tbsp. raw almonds; peach
M4: Chocolate Clif Builder Bar
M5: 2 - 4 oz. 96% ff beef pattys; sauteed veggies w/ 2 tsp. parm cheese
M6: Chocolate protein pancake w/ 1 tbsp. Naturally More PB

2038 calories (2000 is goal)
55 g. fat - 24%
196 g. protein - 38% (201 is goal)
194 g. carbs - 38%

Morning Maniacs,

Today was upper body and had some problems along the way.

Superset A
Incline bench press
6/6/6 - 41's
DB Rear delt raise
10/10 - 16's
10 - green band doubled
***Was experiencing this clicking/popping in left shoulder on delt raises, felt weird but not painful, but then on final superset pain hit the shoulder during the bench press :eek::mad:, so switched to band***

Superset B
1 Arm DB Rows

DB Floor Press
8/8/8 - 40's

Superset C
Alt. Incline DB Curls
8/8/8 - 23 1/2
Lying DB Tricep Extension
8 - 20's
8/8 - 18 1/2 **Still have doms from Monday so tris were screaming thru first set, so lowered for the next to for better control because then I could tolerate the pain!:p:p:p***

Then added a few more set of lying extension for the tris did 9/7 - 15's and 9-12's. Then cardio at a 30/60 ration for six rounds doing high knee runs.

Shoulder didn't hurt for other exercises, except when getting into position and the arm would rotate. Didn't ache when I was done either until I carried my DD, then it wasn't happy. So I've taking some ibprofen and an atni-inflamatory, and planning on resting it. Will be going lighter for shoulder work for a while.:(:(

Char - Nice workout! Great job on upping the weights. I find most of my increases these days are small just 1-2 pounds at a time. (sometimes even just 1/2 a pound:eek:)

Debbie - I don't if I could do that cardio, so great job on actually sticking to the program!
 
Did Step Blast this am. Did not do the last blast as I was totally exhausted. Did some heavy total body minus shoulders with a friend at the gym last night. I never eat after my heavy workout at night so I was famished this morning. I always do cardio on an empty stomach. It's so frigging hot and humid here I can't SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSTAND it! All in all, I'm just in an incredibly lousy mood today.

Deb, Char and Linda, your workouts looked GREAT. Debbie, don't worry about the cardio. I'm very positive when you up it next month, you'd be burning more of everything. :)

Everyone have a great day and weekend. Not sure if I'll post tomorrow or sunday but one thing for sure is tomorrow am, I'd be doing 10 mile trail running then total body at the gym. Sunday's probably light cardio circuit at the gym. Only 3 more days to go then I go back to my running.

When I got to work this morning THINGS was a real mess. I tell you, I'm glad it is Friiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiday:D

This morning, I did CC#8 that’s it:rolleyes: But, I had a pretty good workout.

Cardio Stats:
60 minutes
4:33 miles travelled
467 calories burned

Nice workouts guys. Back Too Work!
 
Got the workout in. Thought I was going to have to run out the door because when I started my lower body work my Daughter in-law called and had a flat tire taking the children to school. I was getting ready to go get them and she called back and said a friend's husband would help her and she would just take them to school late. Glad I didn't have to. Have two schools to go to this afternoon and granddaughters are spending the night.are spending the night. Workout was 5 miles on the treadmill and I burned 552 calories. Then I did Amy's APX multijoint segment, all lower body segments then Amy's 10 minutes solution tone trouble zones Butt and Thigh Blaster Segment, then I did APX biceps and tricps doing triceps press downs instead of push ups, I finished with 10 minutes solution arms and shoulders and then did the stretch. I burned 504 calories on the strength work. Total calories burned was 1056

Sorry to hear about your shoulders. I can relate to that kind of pain..trying to avoid shoulder/neck issues anyways. Hope it feels better.

That is great that you eat in the morning and not at night even though you feel your starving. That is sometimes hard not to eat when your hungry, but the payoff is well worth it. I like your view on the cardio. I agree.

Well girls, I am gonna workout my legs after I eat lunch..do abs too. Right now I am soaking a flour sack cloth in tea. I am gonna be making my own Primitive Halloween picture soon.
 
Hello Ladies. sorry I have been MIA. I was in South Carolina visiting my family and we had a crisis with my father. He is in a nursing home things are a bit rocky so I had to stay the week. I have tried to stay active here.

Monday - I ran the hills in the neighborhood one day for 45 minutes burned 349 calories
Tuesday- did a plyometric work out as follows:
300 jumping jacks
3 sets of 20 jump squats
5 sets of 16 walking lunges
push ups - 20 / 18 / 16 /14 / 12 /10 (my wrists were fried after this one)
tricep dips - 3 sets or 20
100 jumping jacks
abs
rowed on a rower for a cool down

Weds - I jumped rope for 40 minutes- burned 350 calories.

Thursday i traveled back to TN - and today I am back at work - so I will try to workout again tomorrow.

Didn't actually get too sore from the stairs, just a bit in my calves, so kind of surprised about that. Tonight's workout was back, biceps, triceps, and core from Amy's APX and then one of the segments from 10 Min yoga solution. Gotta make sure to get to bed fairly soon as I have to teach in the morning! boo! hiss!
