Hardcore for a beginner to Cathe?

I am relatively new to Cathe, and I would say that I am intermediate in fitness level. It's pure torture (in a good way) trying to decide what videos to buy - because I want them ALL!!! Too bad I am a poor college student and have to live on a budget! That being said...I know that none of you have seen the Hardcore series, but do you know if they are geared toward the more advanced Cathe-ites? Would a logical progression go something like - body blast, intensity series, hardcore?

Just curious...

Thanks!
Amy

IMHO.... body blast, then CTX, then intensities.. then hardcore..

body blast is a very easy series for me.. and since i made the mistake of ordering it after i ordered intensities.. i was extremely disappointed cuz it was so easy for me... i would have enjoyed it more if i had ordered it first...

I have all of Cathe's VHS or DVDs except the wedding tape she did. I have seen her figure evolve, rebound from her pregnancies & maintain. I can tell you I have never seen her or the other women look this buff and powerful in any of the previous workouts. You know they practiced before they taped. Which means, we are probably in for a hell of a workout series with HC.

That being said, it is a process. I think you are doing pretty good figuring out this process. Your sequence sounds like a solid plan to me.:)

I am agree with desertbriez. body blast, then CTX, then intensities.. then hardcore..the hardcore seems the hardest Cathe 's workouts.

It's hard to say without seeing the Hardcore series but I agree with everyone else. I don't have the CTX series.

It's funny but the BodyBlast series is a great, fun and intense series but it came after the Intensities series which is even harder but so much fun.

I've just rediscovered the Bodyblast series and am loving it. She uses the stability all in some of the upper body work, which ups the challenge. You can choose to just use a bench and not the ball too.

Also, if you get the DVD's, the bodyblast series has lots of pre-mixes. Ofcourse, Imax2 - one of my all time Cathe workouts, is from the Intensity series.

just wondering if you might be interested in parting with your body blast. I've never done Cathe but have seen her on FIT tv. I am an inter/adv level, Tracie long, TLP and FIRM user.

E-mail me at [email protected] if interested :)

Peace,
Cynthia
