Morning Maniacs -

This morning I did Prevention 2-Week Turnaround Strength workout followed by 10 minutes of med ball cardio. Workout was 70" and I burned 594 calories. I didn't feel like I had a great workout, but hopefully I was in a "zone" and will feel it tomorrow.

I'm down this morning, as I work 2 open to closes the next two days and I don't EVEN want to go back to work. I just had 2 days off in a row and I don't usually get days off in a row.

Have great workouts everyone.

Diane Sue - sorry to hear about your family member with cancer. I am dealing with my Aunt & Uncle (godparents) and had to go look at a long-term Nursing Home facility to move them to yesterday. They don't like the nursing home they are in. My uncle has Stage IV cancer and it is just a matter of time. I hate to see people suffer from this disease.

Good Morning Maniacs-
Yesterday was plyo. I changed it up a bit and did total bosu blast cardio (the new Mindy video) which was 30 minutes and then did 28 min plyo x only doing each round once. Total workout was 56 min and I burned 936 calories.

Today is shoulder/arms and a run. I am exhaused as my DH snored all night long !!!!!!

BBL to say hello. I only have a few moments.

Theresa

Today was Meso 2, Week 1, Disc 15, Back and Biceps. Had a pretty good workout, this one was fun. Spaz had to be taken to the vets to get neutered and DH took him about a half hour into my workout. I was sad a bit after he left. I wasn't aloud to feed him after 8 last night and the poor little guy was starving this morning. :( I hope he'll be alright. I get to pick him up after work.

Anyways, this is how the workout went:

Today I started with CIA Seasun Zeigar BOSU Blast from Double Cardio stopping at the abs and doing Amy's Hi/Lo Dome Dome workout, I then went on to do Tracey's Core Blast BOSU segment then I did BOSU Blast abs, and finished with Tracey's Parts dvd pilates, abs, yoga and stretch(this had more BOSU abs stuff) I burned 926 calories and Max HR duing BOSU Blast was 170. During BOSU Blast abs with the BOSU on the dome side I had to really work harder to keep it balanced in the plank position because Olivia kept trying to get on it

My dog Mudd seems better. Didn't wake me up last night. I fed her this morning with some chicken and rice and she dug the chicken out. I guess she didn't like Uncle Ben's long grain and wild rice. I didn't realize it had seasoning in it. Still I am surprised that she turned up her nose at it.

Lora, it is a friend's family member that has Cancer. We have lost more than one family to Cancer and it is tough. Two of my dear friends just lost family members as well. I pray for them all. I am sorry for what you are going through. Cancer is a terrible disease.

Theresa, I had to specify which BOSU Blast I did since Mindy's has the same name. I wonder why they did that??

Debbie, I am sure Spaz will be fine. It does make you feel bad when you don't feed your pet and know they are hungry and looking at you wondering why things aren't normal.

Hey Maniacs!!!

Well I was let go of my job yesterday because the woman I work for is in really bad health and she is afraid I am not gonna know what to do if she should get really bad as I have no experience in nursing, other then what I had learned so my position was taking over by a registered nurse. Sucks as far as money goes, but I have something else lined up with another in an Art Store which will pay more anyways. I have to get with Frank to see when I can start, etc.
Didn't get in my workout yesterday cuz my husband called to tell me he got in a car accident. His car is totalled, he thinks. He is fine though. Only a small bruise on his calf. In traffic and person behind didn't see that he had to stop suddenly and she slammed into the back of the car with such force pushing him over three lanes into guardrail. What a wild day. On my way there to get him a spider hangs in front of me in the car and I nearly ran head on into another car while trying to kill this damn spider...30 mins later a black herse passes me. OMG...

So today I am fine and feel blessed we are all alive and safe and gonna work chest/back/abs and maybe some cardio.

Wow Char! I think you should stay home today!!!

Sorry to hear about the job, but I'm glad another one is on the horizon! Sounds like a better deal, anyways.

Charlotte, glad to hear your husband didn't get hurt. I hope insurance will cover everything with the car.

Last week and so far this week I've been revisiting Amy's All Pump Xtreme. It's been a while since I've done it, and I recall not being super thrilled with it, but I've done three of the premixes so far, and I've really enjoyed all three...I have no idea what I didn't like about it before. There are a couple exercises I modify a tad due to not having the exact same equipment she does, but it's a great workout.

Monday I did the back, bis, and tris premix from APX and abs from Body Max 2.
Tuesday I did the lower body timesaver premix from APX.
As for today, I haven't worked out yet. Hopefully before too late.

Debbie _ I am sure spaz will be fine!

Char - Sorry to here about DH's accident , but happy that everyone is okay. Hope all works out on the new job!

Debbie:
Interesting note- my right hip and my right knee have been hurting, but I felt nothing during the plyo but would occasionally feel pain during the weight exercises.
