Morning Maniacs -

This morning I did P90X Plyo X (60 min) followed by Latin Groove (25 min). I then did Winsor Pilates Sculpting Circle Beginner (25 min) and Eion Finn's Power Yoga for Happiness Magically Hips premix (60 min).

Wow...my legs are a bit wobbly, but Eion's Yoga today sure made up for my disappointing yoga practice over the weekend. I just love that premix. I think everyone who does lots of aerobics should have this one in their collection. Thank you Eion...my sciatica and hips thank you. Can't wait to order his new one in a few days!

Happy Fourth to everyone. I'm really happy that I don't have to go to a picnic today. We're gonna go see The Fast & Furious since Charlotte said it was good. I might run out to Buckle in the Mall and look for a new Tee shirt for the concert. Maybe I'll look at the Ed Hardy Tee's in Dillards, but I don't really want to spend $80 for a tee shirt, although I might have to spring for one of those tattoo sleeved tee's soon....$90ish range, but I love them!!

Charlotte...have you ever seen Ed Hardy's Tattoo sleeved tee's? You can look online at www.Donedhardy.com. I love them. I want the Love Kills one. I listened to 3-Doors Down and the other Puddle of Mud this morning working out. 3-Doors Down is good, but has a lot of slow songs on it, so I'm not sure you'd want it??? The other Puddle of Mud starts out really good, but then I think it kinda fizzles. Maybe I'll burn them for you in the near future ....but they're not as good as what I've already given you. I burned you most of my fave's...so it's hard to beat.

Have great workouts. I'm gonna go hop in the shower and enjoy my day off of work. I've got no E-bay business to take care of either...yay!!
 
Good Morning Maniacs!!!

YOWZA...I worked my arms good yesterday. Stayed in "carbalicious heaven" and had an incredible workout yesterday while working biceps/triceps. I picked up the 30# db's and they felt like 10#!!!!}( :D I ended up curling 60#, including the bar in 3 sets of 10 and then I stuck with 30# db's and did 3 sets of 10 doing hammer curls, standard curls and crossing arm over to chest with them. I worked my triceps good too with 45# bar and gripping with hands close together in front, like doing bench. I started with 35#, but it was waaayyy too light. Well remember I told you all my weight was 112? Now it is 118! LOL!:p

Been really busy lately and will be today. Washing curtains, sheets, comforters and cleaning this messy house. Looking at homes today and we looked at some yesterday too. I really like our home so unless something blows my mind, I don't want to move. Just out of curiousity, we looked at one we thought was so gorgeous that had been up for sale for awhile and then DH wanted to start looking at more so now we are looking again! :)

I won't be working out today. Body is sore and I am too busy today. I can't function in a messy/dirty house so I got to get it in order 'fore I go nuts!

WOW! I like that top! That is too cool, but $92???? Huh???? I don't pay more then about $30 for a top, but hey, if you got the money, I would buy it...waaaayyy cool! So your excited about the concert? Wish I could go, but you know how it is. You will have to take pictures and post them. I want TO SEE IT ALL!!!!

Not many around today.

I did HC Extreme Circuit today. It's the one with IMAX3 and HSC.
I'll tell ya, I should do this workout once a week for stamina and endurance!

Lora, you worked out the THREE hours today?? Wow! Enjoy the movie.

Charlotte, enjoy your day off.

Today I am going to do some kind of cardio for a hour and then do PS shoulders and triceps.

Charlotte I am cleaned out my front closet, and now I have to deal with all the other stuff that is not going back??? Oh what a MESS!! Like you it is driving me NUTS so that is the first thing I am going to do!! I will feel so much better when I am done!! Good luck with yours!!

Had an excellent workout today. I had extra time and took advantage of it. I did Pure Strength Legs and went heavy with most of the exercises. I stopped after the sit 'n stands (used 45 lbs. for those) and did leg extensions using 40 lbs. and did 4 sets of 12. Then I did hamstring curls, finally found the correct placement on my bench (thanks Charlotte!) for those and did 3 sets of 12 using 30 lbs. Wow, did I feel that. Then I went back to PS Legs and did the Hamstring Raises and press on the step. My hamstrings were really burning after that. Finished that off with the calf work.

Then I did Pure Strength Shoulders. Did the Arnold Presses with 15 lb dumbbells and that felt easy. I wish I had a set of 17 lbs. dumbbells, I don't even think they make those. After PS Shoulders I did MIS Shoulders. Got an excellent shoulder workout!! I feel awesome!

Charlotte - EXCELLENT workout! My Gosh! 30# for hammer curls? That is awesome!!! You are a true MANIAC!!!

My dh and I are going to go see Superman this afternoon. Hope you all have a great 4th and great workouts!

Oh yes, fun..fun..fun!!! }( ;) I got a shoulder workout just taking the curtains down from the rods and then I will again when I put them back on. ;)

Superman was good. I thought the beginning was alittle slow for me, but it ended up being a very good movie afterall. I think we have pretty much seen everything at the movies since my son works there, we get a nice discount.

I know what you mean about the presses with 15#'s, I feel like sometimes the 20#'s are too tough so I think 17#'s would be ideal. What you can do is just do as many as you can to failure with 20#'s and then maybe you can go up to 25#'s!}( That is what I need to do too. My legs are still burning from the hamstring curls and then I went on that horse yesterday...boy, did I feel it too! He he he

Good morning and Happy 4th of July!

This morning I rode 42 miles with my girlfriends. It was an easy ride - only averaging 15.8mph. My average HR was only 149 or something (I already forgot and I just walked in the house!). One of the gals was tired and she was leading for awhile. You know if it's easy for me riding with those two, it's an easy ride. Oh - and I fell. We were coming up to a stop light and I couldn't get my foot unclipped and KABOOM! First I checked my bike to make sure I didn't scratch it up and then they asked me if I skinned my leg. Funny how the first thing I thought of was my bike. I haven't done that in probably 4 years. It looks pretty funny.

I ran over a stink bug in my driveway and my dog rolled in it. Nice.

As usual you are all having CRAZY workouts! You all motivate me to lift heavier and heavier. Someday I hope I will be able to post a pic of my biceps. :) I could post them now, but they're not very impressive.

Charlotte - I think we're going to the Macaroni Sin Palace today if they're open. :9 I'm starving at the moment but I have to take a shower and then it's a 45 minute drive. I hope I can make it!

Well, I'm back and I'm officially broke. I bought a shirt from Buckle for the concert and they talked me into a pair of jeans that fit a bit too snuggly and they said they'd stretch out and so far, they haven't. I'm upset, cuz I spent a lot on them. I also bought that Tattoo sleeved tee....so I'm pretty much broke until my B-day in October.

We went to Applebee's and ate. I had a cranberry/madarin salad with balsamic vinagarette and we shared a whole wheat quesidilla with low fat cheddar cheese..........not too bad...unless those cranberries are fattening. I've got to look that up.

I'm not even going to be able to sleep tonight. I'm all wound up!
