Morning Maniacs -

This morning I did 321 Bulge Be Gone and added a Cathe stretch for the cooldown/stretch. Workout was 70" and I burned 623 calories.

Toasty - I posted on yesterdays thread and answered your question.

Have great workouts everyone. I have another long day....11-8:30 and we were DEAD yesterday. Makes it even worse.
 
Today was total body and I dug out an oldie but goodie. I did Muscle Endurance. Had a BLAST with it! Used same weights Cathe did. I was burning on a lot of the exercises. She does three different segments of leg presses. I hate those but I know they do my glutes good! I had to skip the abs because I ran out of time. I'm going to have to start these workouts by 6:20 so I can get everything in. Been dragging my feet to get started lately. :rolleyes:
 
I did not get a chance to post yesterday. I did Leaner Legs and 15 min incline walk on the treadmill. Workout was 48 minutes and I burned 450 calories.

Debbie- I hear you on the leg presses, I loathe them. :)

Lora-hope work is busier today, it is very painful when things are slow.

Today I am scheduled for cardio, but I have no idea what I am going to do yet.

I am lagging behind some this morning on posting, but got stuff done here at home already..watering plants, laundry and the likes thereof. Thanks for all the welcome back love vibes...feel the love. Today I am doing Plyo X. Love this workout! Yesterday I did chest/back/abs (did abs on my own as my bod is use to ab ripper waaayyy too much)

Classic Rotation of P90X Chest/Back: first time around and then second time

Standard Pushups 15/10
Lat Pulldowns instead of Wide Front PU's 80# 8x's (twice)
Military Pushups 9/6
Reverse Grip Chins 6/5
Wide Fly Pushups 17/10
Close Grip Overhand Pullups 4/3
Decline Pushups 7/10 (these got easier...weird)
Heavy Pants 30's 8x's (twice)
Diamond Pushups 7/10
Lawnmowers 40's 8x's (twice)
Dive Bomber Pushups 7/6
Back Flyes 15's 8x's (twice)

The pushups were hard at first as I am rusty with them again, but as I got going got easier at times. I did some of the pushups in the beginning on my knees. Overall I did 114 pushups and woke up sore so I am happy.

Great workouts everyone! Deb- I just did ME not too long ago. Really works the glutes on that workout, like you said. Theresa-nice workout!

Morning! I finished Rhythmic Step just a bit ago. Not much else is going on here. GS chest and tris tomorrow- it's been forever since I did that one so I'm looking forward to it. Kids are at camp and I'm working. Beautiful day here.

Char: Stop making me want to buy P90X! :p

This morning I did Amy's Kettlebell Dynamics workout #1 and burned 208 calories. I then did the Advanced Steady State Hill Treadmill workout from Oxygen Abs and burned 243 calories. I went on to do Amy's APX back, biceps,and triceps premix and burned 227 calories, I finished off with Body Max 2 back, biceps and triceps repeating each body part then the stretch and burned 216 calories. Total calories burned today was 894
I wasn't feeling well all day yesterday and wasn't sure that I felt like much this morning but got a decent workout in

Debbie, not sure if you saw my post yesterday about the heavy bag on KBX. You can see it on the chapter menu. It is 6 minutes so that is why I like to do it a couple of times. It really kicks up the HR :D

I really like the first version of P90X. I do have the plus one as well, but the old one seems better, just my opinion. I got excellent results first time doing P90X.

You will love that cookbook. The lady is a friend of mine on facebook that is the author. Her name is Maureen Jeanson. I believe I got her last name right, but not sure.

M3: Whipped Vanilla BSN w/1/2 c. oats & 1 tbsp. Naturally More PB
M4: Spicy chicken salad on 1 slice Ezekiel bread; plum
M5: Honey Greek yogurt; kiwi
M6: Parmesan Tilapia; sauteed veggies
M7: Chocolate Protein pancake w/ 1 tbsp. Naturally More PB

1463.5 calories
49 g. fat - 30%
134 g. protein - 37%
130 g. carbs - 36%

This morning I did Amy's KB Surge with weighted gloves. Workout was 1:06 and burned 584 calories.

BTW, have some DOMS in my shoulders from yesterday, which I rarely get.

I didn't know you were a vegetarian. And I'd say no. Most recipes have chicken, beef, pork, eggs, etc. in them.

You didn't know that? Funny. Yes, and I find it very difficult to find things to eat that don't send my carb totals thru the roof. It is very frustrating at times. Thanks for the info.
 
Debbie, thanks. I just ordered the cookbook and the coupon code worked fine.

Charlotte, I like P90X+ cardio better but was disappointed in the Total body workout. Not much for lower body in this set. I like the abs+.
 
Just got done with my workout. Kickbox Extreme 1 hr 535 calories. I skipped the warm up and added the heavy bag section, but since I do not have one I used weighted gloves.
Diane Sue-you were right about the heavy bag, it get the hr going.
