Hardcore Fitness Maniacs October 2025!

Today I did LMR premix functional mobility warm up with bonus cardio, 20 minutes, 119 calories. I then did Jessica Valant full scoliosis workout, 49 minutes, 99 calories. Total time was 69 minutes, 218 calories. I did one of the walk out on hands and back on the mobility warm up and changed to something safer for that portion.

Belinda, that sounds like a long day of stuff. It sounds like things went well, and they are going to monitor the aneurism and do some testing. It does sound like you have a lot to think about. Sorry they suggested infusions again. I don't like going in every 3 months myself for a checkup. That is good that they said you could keep up with doing yoga and Pilates. The Jessica Valant had some twisting and rolling down in it along with cat cow. She did a segment that had a low crunch in it but suggested if it bothered skip that segment. Most moves were all familiar stuff. She did mention if a person cannot do the v-sit and set up straight which is often on one side, to put a block or something under that hip. That really helped because I can do it on the left, but the right I immediately lean and cannot sit up straight. I have problems with the right hip a lot. She did swimmers and superman near the end. I hate swimmers. Anyway, I had to modify moves. Meditation is something I really have a problem sticking around for. CDorner does it on some of her workouts, and I might stay a couple of minutes, but I am soon done with it. They offered me an injection in my neck a long time ago and I told them I will wait.

I had some good workouts the past few days, here they are.
Friday- 4 mile walk with the pup
Saturday- P90X Chest and Back. I used my cable machine for the Back work since it was almost all pull ups. Also, instead of pushups, I did all sorts of Chest Presses and Flys. I love these workouts.
Today- 70 minute uphill walk with a 15# vest on. Incline 5.0 to 6.0 and speed between 3.1 and 3.3 It felt great to walk and listen to 80's music!

Evening,

Yesterday I did a Pilates TB + Stretch/hip. Today I did a OnDemand belly dance, Halloween dance to the Adams Family. So fun!

I am so exhausted from this weekend. We been spending lots of time driving back and forth to DD‘s birthday party. DS/DIL decided yesterday they had enough, we picked them up. We did went out to dinner and talked until late last night. We drove them to the airport early this morning. We all didn‘t get a lot of sleep.

Diane - Friday was a long day. I am happy the doctor is monitoring everything. Although I got used to not going to the infusion center, I want some relief from RP. Body weight workouts are good for you. No surprise they all agree, lol. My Pilates instructor does modifications i haven’t seen before. She is specialist in osteoporosi/osteorarthitis. The idea no matter what you do, don’t jerk. I am waiting for the injection in my neck too. I don‘t have time to go right now anyway. I have the neurosurgeon on Friday and 14th I have follow up appointment for my eye. Great job on LMR premix functional mobility and Pilates.
