This morning I did STS 2.0 Upper Body 2. I had a really great workout, this one is tough but I enjoyed it.

This workout had 1 minute rests between each exercise

Barbell Underhand Row: 40# - 2 sets/10 reps
Barbell Overhand Row: 40# - 2 sets/10 reps
Barbell Pullover: 25# - 3 sets/10 reps (I used a dumbbell)
Band Lat Pulldowns: 40# Band
Pull Aparts: 15# Band

Dumbbell Overhead Press: 12's - 10 reps
Dumbbell Overhead Press: 15's - 2 sets/8 reps
Bear Crawl Press: 10 reps
R/L Side Leaning Lateral Raise: 5# - 2 sets/8 reps
Scarecrow: 5's - 12 reps

Dumbbell Close Grip Press: 20's - 2 sets/10 reps
Barbell Close Grip Press: 35# - 2 sets/10 reps
Dips: (I did Chest Press w/25's) - 2 sets/10 reps
Band Chest Fly: 30# Bands - 16 reps
Band Kickbacks: 15# Band - 8 reps/24 pumps/4 reps

Sweeper Curls: 20's - 10 reps
Single Arm Sweeper Curls: 20's - 10 reps
Barbell Curl: 35# - 8 reps
Barbell 21's: 25# (killer)

Workout was 61 minutes, burned 260 calories, HR was 101/140.

Roselyn - Great workouts!! I tried doing BB again but I can't take the men-talk. I did one workout and it drove me crazy. Too bad, to, because that is a great series.

Diane - Great job with your workout, glad you got a good stretch in. Interesting how they have yoga for the condition you have, that is pretty cool.

I am getting RMR Metabolic Test done this afternoon. You can‘t exercise 14 hours prior to the test. I may take a rest day today or if I have time I will workout this evening.

I did Raw Heavy Bag Heavy Weights got a good calorie burn but didn’t feel as good as my walks I really need to get up and get my workouts in the next couple of weeks will be crazy at work. I start fittings for the expensive contacts on the 11th the ones she gave me aren’t working.

Debbie-as far as I know my parents didn’t have this but my dad died when he was 54 so it’s possible. It may also be Keratoconus I need to ask again.
 
This morning I wanted to work my abs and boy, did I! I started with RAW Box a Better Waistline and really concentrated on contracting my abs. Love this one. I wore my 3# ankle weights but didn't use my Egg Weights. This is a fun workout.

Then I did STS 2 Standing Metabolic Core workout which I love as well. I used a 5# plate and a 10# plate for this workout. My abs were on fire by the time I was finished.

Workout was 43 minutes, burned 352 calories, did 2195 steps and HR was 140/172.

Belinda - I hope your test went well. What was that done for?

Roxie - Great job with Heavy Bag and Weights. I want to do a heavy bag workout this weekend while I have the time to do one. I love those workouts. Yes, just let me know when you figure out what eye issue you have. I don't know why, but I am so curious. I guess because my mom has had eye challenges and is now almost blind. I find myself trying to find ways to prevents such things from happening although I'm not a doctor by no means. But there has to be supplements that can help. And since my mom has macula, I'm pretty sure I will have it as well. So I'm just curious.

Jolie - You need to try the Box for a Better Waistline - it's a great workout!

I'm not sure if I'm working out tomorrow or not. I want to but I know how it goes when a holiday is here. So I wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving and I will be back for sure on Friday!!

I got up early to get my workout in. I did JS TB and SBF UB/stretch.

The test was interesting. You can‘t eat before taking the Rest Metabolic Rate test. I found out I am not eating enough food. I am trying to lose some weight. She has me eating at 1549 cal a day. Hopefully that will kick my metabolism in gear.

Debbie - the test was to see how much food I can eat in a day and to lose some weight. Ever since I was on high doses of steroids, I gained a few pounds. I am trying to lose that weight. It‘s coming off, but very slowly. I am tracking my food again on MFP to make sure I am hitting my daily intake. She thinks I am not eating enough food. If I lose more than 10 pounds/or gain weight , the have to take the test again.Great job this morning.

I am getting my hair done. Going to lunch with DD. BBl

I have not worked out all week due to a really bad cold! Why do I get this every year right at this holiday. I think a lot of it is allergies and it has wiped me out. Saturday last week I walked for 4 miles and Sunday I did CL All In Upper Body and then nothing else. I will start back up on Friday because I am starting to feel better, but I am very tired. Great job with the workouts this week everyone. I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving tomorrow, don't eat too much :) I only have a salad, since I was about 14 years old, and I am good with that option. I never feel full or overstuffed and that is the kind of food that I enjoy. I might pick up a sushi roll and have that too. We are BBQing and making Filets with mashed potatoes, hot crab dip and Caesar Salad with avocado. I hope you all have the best day with your families and enjoy your day off from work!

Good Morning,

I went a got blood drawn to see if my cholesterol medication is working then I walked on the Treadmill for 50 minutes. We have an older couple in our neighborhood who walk everyday no matter what the weather and it’s really cold out, I asked them once how far they walk they said 5 to 6 miles.

Yesterday I did CDorner Hight Intensity Step #434 no breakdown basic step, 27 minutes, 155 calories, heart rate 145/182, 2,709 steps. I also did Flow with Mira, Thoracic Spine Mobility, 26 minutes, 33 calories. I finished with Jessica Smith 15 minute Fix Total Body, 16 minutes, 72 calories. This was quick paced and very light weight. I took a day off from the back pod because of time restraints. I got a lot of the upper back and rib work in Mira's Thoracic Spine.
My husband and I are getting some things done around the house and Christmas stuff out so short on time. Today we had to return Christmas lights from Amazon that was missing the timer. They replaced them overnight, so we had to make a trip to UPS, then we went out to eat, came home and decorated our pine tree in the front yard. Boy was it windy and cold!! Anyway I did CDorner Thigh Burner with Booty Bands, heavy fabric band, 31 minutes, followed by the back pod and then CDorner mobility challenge day 12 upper body stretch. That is it. I am working between MFP and My Net Diary since each has different special features. My Net Diary tracks, makes suggestions and e mails me results at the end of each week. I have not joined the premium in either, but MyNetDiary is a lot less costly at 59.99 per year of 8.99 a monthy.
I have tried upping calories and yesterday I was 100 lbs. I am getting sort of distressed over it. Trying to keep it healthy and still getting between 1900 and 2000 calories in. You would think my shorter workouts and rest time would leave me gaining weight!. Looking forward to Cathe's workouts getting here.

Belinda, that is interesting on the RMR test results. I generally have been eating in the calorie range you are supposed to eat. Nice Job on JS Total Body and SBF Upper Body Stretch. I hope your day was pleasant with your daughter and getting your hair done.

Debbie, nice work on yesterday's STS 2 Upper Body 2, and today's Box a better waistline and STS2 Standing Metabolic Core. I think about those workouts and cringe on how my ribs would feel. I did get some core blended into Mira's workout yesterday. The same with her Spine one which she did a lot of work with the transverse abdominals.

Jolie, sorry you have not been feeling well. I have year round allergies. I have made some changes that seem to be helping. Allergy meds just do not work for me. I recently came across Integrative ALLQLEAR quail egg powder for seasonal support. I am on my second bottle. My allergies have been so much better. That and staying well hydrated. Moist air helps in the shower with the itchy airways. I want to get a personal humidifier. NIce work on the walk and CL all in upper body. We already had Thanksgiving last week and have been eating ham and turkey leftovers. Well, I ate ham as I am not a fan of turkey. We went out to eat today and I had a steak at Chili's with the potatoes and broccoli. Then we shared cheesecake. So I guess that was our Thanksgiving meal.

Roxie, nice job on the 50 minute treadmill walk. Those are really dedicated people to walk even when it is freezing cold. It was so windy and cold when we were putting up decorations. The weather just started turning really cold. I finally gave in and turned on the furnace. I still had it set for cooling.

Roselyn, good job on Body Beast legs and back and biceps.

I did JS UB and SBF UB for the shoulders. If it‘s not to cold outside I will go for a walk later.

Diane - great job with your mix of workouts. Well, I thought I was eating the right amount of calories. I was wrong. I wasn‘t eating enough. RMR test is suppose to be very accurate compare to anything else. The RMR test give you the calories if you don‘t do anything except lay around all day long. Than she calculated based on my exercises how much more calories I can eat without gaining weight and losing the extra few pounds I need to lose. My Rest Metabolic Rate (Kcal/day) is 1401. RMR 1401 cal, Lifestyle: 421 cal, Exercise: 227 cal (which is lower than I actually burn!!, = 2049 cal - 500 calories deficited = 1549 cal. I hope this makes sense! I am going to give it a few weeks at 1549 calories/day and see how I feel. Today I already burned in exercise 287 cal. I may play around with the numbers in a few weeks. She doesn‘t want me to eat under 1549 cal/day or go over.

Today I did Annie Pilates Physical Therapist progression costochondritis fix with a band pilates/yoga 21 minutes. I think it is the 3rd in a progression of the costochondritis workouts. It was hard. Partly because she was using a yellow band, so I pulled out Cathe yellow which was really hard. I can really feel it now. I lowered near the end when I realized I was using the extra heavy band. Next, I did her Fusion progression Costochondritis Pilates yoga dumbbells (3#) fix, 21 minutes (improves posture and health. finishing with her 5 under 10 costochondritis/Tietz syndrome yoga & Pilates Fix 10 minutes The one I did Tuesday used the foam roller near the end. I ended with the back pod. Hope I did not overdo it. These workouts really work on the upper back and shoulders, posture muscles and stretches blended in.
I always look up the instructors background stuff. Her full name is Anabelen Aranton PT. She uses Anna as a shorter name. There are quite a few pages about her online to learn about her. Is a PT, a lot of years of Pilates and Yoga training along with being a PT and all of her education. Belinda, nice work on JS Upper Body and SBF Upper Body for shoulders. I have read stuff telling how to figure calorie needs, but having the test done makes it easier, I think.

Today I needed to get up and get some steps in, I sat around too much yesterday, and I was dying to move today. I took the pup for a 4 mile walk and it felt great, though my right knee is a bit sore for whatever reason. I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving yesterday; I only ate a salad and butter cake, and I am so glad I did not overeat for once! Are you all buying gifts on the Black Friday sales today? So far I have not found one thing I want to get that is on sale :( I hope you all have good workouts today if you get one in.
 
Today I did Intensity Series Cardio & weights premix cardio only, 36 minutes, 169 calories, heart rate 124/157, 3,096 steps followed by Ana Pilates Physical Therapist Flourish Day 10 heart opening yoga for tight chest, 16 minutes, 21 calories. I also did the back pod. I am sore today from the costochondritis workouts I did yesterday. I probably did a bit too much doing so many of them. I got up and used the heating pad this morning and some light stretching before I started my day.

Jolie, good job on the walk this morning. I am glad you are feeling better. I have got a few deals on the black Friday sales. Mostly not for gifts though. I canceled and item for my granddaughter and reordered it to get the black Friday deal since it had not yet shipped. A shirt I had ordered her earlier is on the sale now. Too late for that though.

Today I did a JS stretch + belly dance workout. It‘s too cold to walk outside. I think it‘s in the 30‘s.

Diane - great job on your workouts. Good for you for figuring out online how to test it. Mine was way off.

today i did chest/tris

Tomorrow is my 60th!! My husband threw me a surprise party last saturday and it was so much fun. Thankfully he did it then we had thanksgiving alone he got COVID!!! Anyway my daughter has been acting funny and today she wanted to bring more turkey over (we baked it and sent over to her with my other family members) and I said well sure but dad is just now fever free, so she came with her hubby and my little grandson and said here look at his santa pics, so I looked (without my glasses) and she said did you see that one and i looked again and Leo was standing by santa ,who was holding a POSITIVE pregnancy test (they had done a 3rd procedure at the beginning of november) so best birthday present ever!! So say some prayers for a healthy pregnancy,

Today I did Walk Strong 3 Strength Lower Body, 32 minutes, 114 calories, heart rate 110/145. I finished with Ana Pilates PT Flourish Day 19 yoga flow release for tight thoracic Spine, 17 minutes, 32 calories. I must be really tight because some of this was tough and Flourish is supposed to be a beginner 30 day yoga series. It was good, but holding some of those positions was hard. I ended with the back pod.

Belinda, good job on JS stretch and the belly dance workout yesterday and today's SBF Christmas stretch and Barre Hiit.

Roselyn, happy birthday. What a wonderful birthday present from your husband. That is great news that your daughter is pregnant. That is a great way to tell you. Sending prayers out for everything to go well.
