Char- I usually fo it at home, but last summer I used a different product and completely fried my hair. So I have been just doing my roots. I wanted low lights, but dont think I can do that at home. I might just get a box and do it here. Not sure what color though. DH likes blond, but I want a change, not to dark though, nothing drastic.

Anne- so you would reccomend Natural Instincts? I always used Loreal Feria, but I want something a little more gentle for my hair. Any color suggestions for me? I don't want to go lighter.

Plie Squats:

Hamstring Curls

Deadlifts

Bench Step Ups
60# (30# db's) 15 reps for each leg

Leg Press
75#/20

When I first did these with the 100#, I had doms in the back of my legs for 3 days!!!! I hope to have some tomorrow. lol. Never seems to hurt my back. My lower back does get alittle sore when I do regular squats with heavy weights...immediately after I finish.

Prep h is good for bags under your eyes. Shrinks tissue...

Hi all!

Had a great workout today. Ran 1.5 miles outside. My road is really hilly, so it's always a challenge. The first hill is 1/4 mile long and pretty steep. After that, I went in and did GS legs. I went heavier than Cathe on all exercises. Could have gone even heavier on some. I haven't done that one in a while, so I was glad I hadn't lost it!

I was going to do abs, but they were actually sore from GS chest and tri yesterday! Don't know if it's just from bracing or because I went heavier and was recruiting different muscles to push the weight up? I had good form throughout.

I also can't wait to get Cathe's new WO's. I need more of her cardio that is not step. I love kickboxing, but Kickmax is just okay. I'm bored in the beginning. I skip some of the w/up because it seems so long before the combos start. KPC is better. I get tired of doing step all the time too. I don't like to do it more than 1x/week.

I want to see The Departed too. Would like to do it soon, but I have no time!

Diane Sue, thanks for the encouragement. I don't know if I will ever lift that heavy. I'm happy with the gains I've already made. I don't have definite goals right now because I'm too busy to set them and follow through. After I'm finished with nursing school it will be better! MUCH BETTER!!

When you've got that much on the barbell for deadlifts, do your arms ever get tired?
I had 55# on mine today, and my arms started feeling it. Not to mention, the low back. It screams for me to stop.
My form is good. Do the low back muscles just need to be built up?
 
Debbie - It's called Planet Spa Mediterranean Olive Oil Conditioning Hair Mask. Do you know if it's a preshampoo treatment, i.e., needs shampooed out. How much do you think shipping would be?

Dallys - Re: the sex scenes in the Departed, there is only one that I recall, it was not very risque. I think you'd be fine. There's a lot of MF'n and curse words, bullets to the head, etc. but no gore in an "over the top" way....just the normal violence that comes with the Mob. Great acting too.

I make sure I am putting all the stress on my hamstrings and not my back. I do straight leg deadlifts. Doesn't seem to bother my back or arms. My back is strong, but again, most of the force is in my hamstrings, and I feel it. I usually don't feel anything in my lower back when doing these. Keep your head/chin up when you bend forward. Does that make sense?

Well, I waited to long for my workout. I got caught up in Oprah and that Dr. Oz. I just love that stuff, even if I've heard it a hundred times. DH is working out now, I'll try to workout after him. Then I'm sure I'll get in the hot tub with a protein shake. I love that new habit. :p

Anne, Char, I'm going to go shopping for hair dye tomorrow. I'm praying I don't do something drastic. I know my hair takes color easily so I'll go lighter. Might even get the PrepH for the bags under my eyes. LOL!

Lora, thanks for the movie info. I'll try to talk my son into going with me this weekend. DH hates to go to the movies. It's cool your DH colors your hair.

goldenrun, Sometimes my hands and forearms stain when I do deadlifts heavier or bent over rows. I think I've done 70lbs for DL and felt it. I haven't been hurt yet, but I know you have to be careful with your lower back.

Tapping foot here...waiting for DH to finish working out. Slowly losing the drive. Gotta keep it going.

You ladies are nuts with the amount of weight you deadlift. Best be careful not to herniate a disc! I have to do them light or I have severe back problems (wimpy Lora).

Charlotte - are you saving for the big BPAL update ....supposedly the Yule blends are being released on this Friday, the 13th....along with the traditional "13" blend that is offered every Friday the 13th. My E-bay business has been suffering cuz everyone's saving for the update. (forgot to tell you that I broke out a bar of Embargo from Villainess this morning - not sure if it's still available on the site, but it's Patchouli, Clove and other deep woody scents....I thought of you).

Well.....I better get ready to go lay on my balls and watch GH. I have some severe shoulder spasms I need to try and work on.
 
Charlotte - great workout!! You leg poundage is amazing.

Lora - I know what item you're talking about, I hear from my customers that its good stuff. Not sure what shipping would be, probably no more then $5.

I have this really good recipe i found in a Oxygen Magazine
Peanut Butter Mousse
4 ounces of fat-free cream cheese
1/2 cup splenda
1 ounce whey protein vanilla flavor
1/2 peanut butter
1/2 cup of skim milk
8 ounce sugar free cool whip
Beat together cream cheese, splenda and protien powder. Mix peanut butter and milk and beat until smooth

Fold in Cool Whip do not beat

Scoop into four- ounce bowls and refridgerate for 2 hours
