Hardcore Fitness Maniacs May 2025

Today I had an excellent workout. I did a workout that I have not done in a long time, Cathe's XTrain Burnsets, Chest/Back/Shoulders. This workout is very similar to the STS workouts for Meso 2 and that is exactly what I was looking to do for my next week or so. This workout is x 10 reps, x 10 reps, x to failure. I am excited to do arms on Thursday of this week.

Debbie, great job on the TM walk today, I love to walk! I loved my workout today, I think you will like these too, it has been forever since I have done it and I plain just forgot about them. Have a great active recovery week. When are you out for the summer?

Belinda, I hope your husband's surgery went well yesterday. Also, way to go in getting some steps in at the hospital, I bet it help with the stress of the surgery.

Diane Sue, Nice job on the CDorner workout yesterday. What about this crazy weather in the mid-west right now. I see Oklahoma is supposed to get some tornados, I hope you stay safe.

This morning I did RAW Kickboxing #3 and had a great workout. I like that one.

Workout was 34 minutes, burned 287 calories, did 3254 steps and HR was 141/180 which it did not get that high.

Diane - I'm sorry you are in such pain all the time, I couldn't even imagine it. Great job with your workout!! You still keep on going which is so inspiring!

Belinda - I hope your DH is doing ok. My dad had that surgery and it isn't fun. It takes a long time to heal, too.

Jolie - I will look into Xtrain. I do have those workouts. Great job with your workouts!!

Roxie - I found a new blush I just love, it's by Tarte. It's in a tube and has a sponge at the end. I really love it. I think it's new.

Today I did a live dance class and a walk.

Diane - I am so sorry you in so much pain. I feel so bad for you. Barre workouts are very low impact workouts. I would talk to your doctor what you can and shouldn’t do. You don’t want to end up hurting worst than you already do. DD and I moved as much as we could at the hospital. The surgery took over 2 hours. The waiting area was so crowded. Getting some fresh air was great plus moving my still body, lol. Great job with your workout.

Debbie - thank you. DH is considering really well. He had double hernia surgery. It will take some time to heal. Great job on your KBoxing workout.

Jolie - thank you. The surgery went well. It was a long day. I am glad DD and I got some walking in. I love XTrain. The music is great in that series. Great job!

Today I did LMR Barre Fusion lower body only mix and added some biceps curls and hammer curls with just 10# dbs. Then I did my own stretch.

Debbie, good job on Raw Kickboxing 3 today. I sometimes get those high heart rate readings and know it did not happen. If it did I would be breathing hard and I am not. I will be glad when I can sleep at night. This has been going on for a long time, it is just getting worse. I went over the last 3 bone scans and the T7 fracture has been there. Things are just getting worse and the strength training and bone supplements are not taking care of building my bones back up. I suppose because of the arthritis. Since it is a chronic thing I need to get it taken care of. That is the reason I decided to try meds I have been avoiding.

Jolie, good job on the XTrain Burn Sets Chest, Back and Shoulders. We have had a lot of rain this spring along with winds and hail. It is the season for tornadoes. The hail we had was rather scary. I could hear sirens from emergency vehicles after the huge hail hit. I imagine people on the road were hit hard.

Belinda, good job on the dance and walk today. I imagine my husband will be hanging around the medical facility when I get my procedure done. I am going to talk to my arthritis doctor tomorrow. I imagine the doctor that is doing the procedure will discuss what I should not do. I read that they usually send patients to PT. I will see what they all say. I hope your husband recovers soon.

Roxie, thanks for posting that. I am not sure what she means about watching on the browser. I will cancel my Amazon digital subscription and wait to decide what I am going to do. I am not boxing right now and pretty sure I will have recovery time. I use youtube a lot so will probably do that. Nice work on the walk.
