No workout for me yesterday, I worked until 8:30 Wednesday night and just couldn't get up early Thursday.

This morning I did RAW Box & Squat - it's been a while since I've done this one and it is a fun one. I wanted more of a weight lifting leg workout but just couldn't find one I wanted to do. I only used my egg weights for the entire workout as Kelly instructs:

Workout was 40 minutes, burned 293 calories, did 2277 steps and HR was 131/153.

Please say a prayer for my mom's cat, Olivia. She is not doing good. We think she has kidney disease as we went to the vets last week and her blood pressure was sky high. They put her on BP meds but I'm not sure she's taking it. Mom is putting it in her food and she's hardly eating anything right now. She's old but I hope she can pull through for my mom's sake. We have a follow-up today.

Belinda - I'm glad your tooth pain is getting better and so glad you don't have to go through a root canal!! Those suck! Hopefully you are feeling even better today.

Roxie - Great job on your 2 mile walk. It has been cold here, how is it 90 where you live? Dang!

Roselyn - Nice workout.

Today I did a live dance class and Pilates with the foam roller.

Debbie - praying for your mom‘s cat :) I hope the appointment went well and Oliva is eating again. Thank you on the root canal. I am so thankful I don‘t need one. I am taking less pain meds. That is good.

I went for a 1.70 mile walk tonight. I overdid the speed last night so I had shin splints. Another 90 degree day.

Debbie-Monday it’s supposed to get back in the 50’s

Wednesday I did not work out.
Yesterday I did LMR 2 Elevated Total Body, 48 minutes, 158 calories, heart rate 93/124 and a mobility stretch 24 minutes, 84 calories.
Today I did LMR 2 Elevated Kickboxing, 44 minutes 232 calories, heart rate 120/150 using low impact options. I also did Senior Shape Morning Stretch, 19 minutes, 63 calories. Total time 63 minutes, 295 calories.

Roxie nice work on the 1.70 mile walk. It was around 90 here today. My daughter's pool guy was opening her pool up the last two days.

Today I caught up on dance classes I missed Thursday. I also went for a nice walk outside and did a 10 min lower body stretch from SBF.

Diane - Great job on yesterday LMR 2 Elevated Total Body + a mobility stretch 24 minutes + LMR 2 Elevated Kickboxing + Senior Shape Morning Stretch. That‘s a lot of workouts. I am glad I found the endocrinologist, my dentist recommended him. Tooth is doing better each day. I didn‘t needed any pain meds since yesterday.

Roxie - you having some great weather. Enjoy.

Today I did Senior Shape chair upper body yoga workout, 31 minutes, 78 calories.

Belinda, good job on the walk outside and Zoom Pilates foam roller. Those were two days of workouts so not so long:)

This morning I did RAW Box & Pump 5 and had an awesome workout. I haven't done this B&P since Feb. of 24. Loved it. This a fun one and I liked the boxing part of it. Tough workout.

Today I did CL# 585 Lower Body Fire. Love the workout. I also did Pilates for hips.

This evening my daughter is teaching a yoga class at the museum in DC. I signed up for it. I am excited.

Diane - great job yesterday on Senior Shape chair upper body yoga workout. Oh, I was wondering, lol.

Debbie - great job on Raw Box and Pump 5 today.

Roselyn - nice job on your leg workout. Did you sign up for Caroline OnDemand again?

I am checking in with you all because I truly miss my workouts and my check ins with you all. My dad sadly passed away on Sunday and it was a very hard last few months. My mom has survived the brain surgery but will never be able to live by herself. My plan going forward is to get my mom into assisted living for the next couple of months to get all of her doctors appointments finished where she lives in Palm Springs. Then, I will probably bring her to live with me full time because I cannot afford 6k a month for the rest of her life. I have not done a workout in so long except for walking the dog and lifting a few dumbbells here and there. I look horrible, I feel horrible and I cannot wait to get back at it and make myself the best version that I can. Going through this experience has shown me we darn better take care of ourselves, it is too expensive to need any type of care. I had to hire 24 care for them for the past two weeks and it was $5,000 per week!!!! We must live a healthy lifestyle to hopefully not get ourselves into an expensive mess. I miss you all so much and I cannot wait to check in each day. My dad would have been 93 in May. I am mentally and physically exhausted and hope to get some freedom from the extensive work I had to do now that my dad has passed. Thanks for being my friend everyone.

OMG Jolie!! I am so glad you are ok! We have all been so worried about you. I am so sorry to hear about your dad passing, I know how hard that is to go through and all that is going on with your mom, it is one of the hardest times you (we) will ever go through. I'm there with my mom, she just doesn't want to do anything anymore and I have no idea how to help her. So glad you checked in. We look forward to your posts when you are able. I am just glad we now know you are ok. And you are right, we need to stay healthy!! Our healthcare system is the worst on the planet.

This morning I did RAW Box a Better Waistline (haven't done that one in a long time) and then followed that with 2 combos of Egg Weight Finisher. I used a 12# DB and 5# ankle weights with the waistline workout but no egg weights for either workout. Had a great workout.

Workout was 40 minutes, burned 292 calories, did 2292 steps and HR was127/168.

Belinda - Great job with you lower body workout. How are you knees doing? Also, how are your eyes doing? Are they all good now?

Rosalyn - OMG, get better soon! That is awful and I am so glad I haven't caught it this year. I've been healthy so far, knock on wood!

Jolie - my heart goes out to you and your family :( I am so sorry to hear about your dads passing. I am so happy you are okey. We all have been so worried about you. I a agree, we need to take are of ourselves. Do whatever it takes to stay and eat healthy. I am so sorry about your dad:( You have a lot on your plate. Please, check in when you can, we are here for you if you need anything.

Today I did live zoom belly dance classes and I started doing more barre workouts. I did SBF circuit workout to work more on my smaller muscle groups.

Debbie - thanks for asking. Knees are doing fine, my eye sight isn‘t the same…I see less and less. I need to get a 2nd opinion on that. Something went wrong with my last surgery when they did the lens rotations.How are you doing lately? Great job on your workout today.

Roselyn - Oh no! I hope you feel better soon. Something is going around again. Fell better my friend.

Jolie sorry about your dad hugs for you. I did Raw TBTS Push then Shape 5 Minute abs then a 2.63 mile walk. Starting to warm back up again I don’t get how it can be almost a 100 on day and not quite 50 two days later crazy weather.

Jolie, I am glad you are okay. I am terribly sorry that your Dad has passed away. I will be praying for you and your mother. I lost my parents and I know how rough that can be. Take care of yourself and we will be looking forward to having you back here again.
 
Yesterday I did a band workout with Lauren, 27 minutes, 107 calories, heart rate 101/136. I did not have much time. I was trying to get my husband in for an mri sooner as he is in so much pain. Never got a call back.

Today I did Gloved Up and Sweaty, 40 minutes, 270 calories, heart rate 139/167. and followed with LMR Elevated Premix Anytime Mobility 13 minutes, 79 Calories. Total time 53 minutes, 349 calories. I may try my daughter's elliptical tomorrow or the Max Trainer they have in their gym. They had their pool guy open the pool this week. I really am not a good swimmer.

Debbie, nice work on Raw Box a Better Waistline and 2 combos of the egg weight finishers.

Belinda, good job on the zoom belly dance classes and SBF Circuit workout. I am doing okay. My knees are sure sore with all of the up and down stairs and climbing the hill in back of the house. My dog insists I throw the ball from up the hill so he can fetch it and run up. He runs up, drops the ball at the top and waits for me to come and get it before he goes down and waits for me to throw it.

Roxie, nice job on Raw TBTS Push, Shape abs, and walk. We have had the same thing. 90 one day, jacket weather the next.
