Morning Maniacs -

I did David Kirsch's Power Body plus Greg Sims Body Box. Workout was 75" and I burned 530 calories.

Diane Sue - Do you like Extremely Ripped? It got some bad reviews.
 
This morning I worked my Shoulders, Traps and Abs. Had a kickass workout! Had lots of energy and didn't really want to stop.

8 minute warmup on treadmill.

1 minute rest between each set.

SHOULDERS
Barbell Overhead Press:
55# - 8/8/8

Barbell Upright Row:
52# - 10/10/10
***Love this exercise.

Lateral Raise:
13's - 15/15/15
***Could go way heavier with this but my right shoulder is still bothering me. Went up 1# and added 3 reps to each set instead.

**Bent Over Lateral Raise:
17's - 12/12/12
15's - 10
12's - 12
10's - 10
***These felt good, got a great burn. No rest after set 3.

TRAPS
**Dumbbell Shrugs:
45's - 20/20/20
40's - 20
35's - 15
30's - 18
***No rest after set 3.

ABS
Kimberly Spreen Absolute Kickbox Ab Work
***I really liked this, some standing exercises and sitting exercises. Most worked the obliques. Also used 5# dumbbells and this burned the shoulders as well so that was an add on bonus for my shoulder work.

Morning! I did Plyo Legs STS Disc 29- excellent workout. I love those WOs so much.

Debbie: Don't you love days like that?? I had one last week, finished my WO and thought I could do more! :) Don't you like Kimberly's manner? She is so centered.

Patti - yes, I am swimming every day but won't on Saturday, unless it is just a tiny bit to continue to work on my stroke and breathing. I wish like crazy that I could calm myself down though and can't figure out why on earth I am in such a *tizzy* over it all :rolleyes: Good grief - 40 years - you think I would have learned how to deal with my seriously nervous stomach by now.

Lora - I don't have Extremely Ripped, nor do I plan on getting it. I have all of her others but don't do them much (Ripped 1000 is probably my favorite of them all but for occasional use, I guess they all have some merit). This one just looks sloppy though. I've only seen clips but her form looks terrible, the workout looks rushed or something. I think I remember Diane Sue mentioning that she just ignored the form, knowing what was proper.

I am in Austin today. There is a large indoor pool at the hotel and one of my dearest friends lives here in Austin so we are about to meet up for some shopping (it will be window only though b/c I am saving up for the bike!), some swimming, and a workout. I brought my ipod and am going to do a short cardio coach on the TM. It is hard to not go all out but I know I will regret it if I do.
 
We've done four nights of Vacation Bible School and I wake up in the morning exhausted. Today weights sounded okay but I had no desire for cardio. But I managed to do 4DS BootCamp Biceps & Triceps Weights first Premix. But like I said I was in no mood for cardio so I only managed to do 9 drills. Workout was 1 hour and burned 351 calories. The weight segment took me a little longer figuring out the setup for each exercise.
 
Well I managed to workout despite a negative desire to do so. I did Kickbox Surge combo 1,2,and4 and surges 1,2,3,4 and then combo one of ASC3. It's going to take a long time for me to get the choreography with Amy's ASC3...good lord that woman is crazy. Anyway, workout was 45 minutes and I burned 420 calories. That number is better considering my eating has been terrible.

I wasn't able to get on the internet today because dd's was not working. I got up this morning and did Kelly Coffey 30 minutes to fitness Kickbox doing the full workout and the abs which was 69 minutes. I burned 430 calories doing this. I think I could get the intensity up a little more the next time so I can get a better calorie burn. The abs workout was good. I liked it alot. Then I put in The 30 minutes to fitness bootcamp and did 10 minutes of the cardio only premix to get a feel for it and 5 minutes of the stretch. I think this one will be a decent calorie burner. I burned 91 additional calories doing that one. Total calories today was 521.

Edited to add that I may not be able to get on here for a few days. We close on our house tomorrow morning and the internet won't be hooked up till Monday. Not really looking forward to unloading stuff in 103 degree temps. Not sure that I will workout in the morning either. Have a nice weekend if I don't get back here:)

Lora, Extremely Ripped is ok. At first I had some elbow and shoulder pain so lowered the weight some(I follow the people in the back with the step). It is kind of hard to keep the weight up and keep decent form with no breaks. I burn a decent amount of calories doing this workout. And yes, Jari does have some sloppy form in this. I am like Shana in that I don't use Jari's workouts a lot. I like Ripped 1000 and Ripped and Chiseled the best. I just use them once in awhile. I find that I don't do high rep workouts often though so that may have something to do with it too.
 
Hello,

tonight's workout was the lower body 2X premix from Push Pull. Tomorrow I'm going to yoga with my friend, which I'm really looking forward to. We moved our day from tuesday to friday so it's been over a week; it feels so long!
