Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for week of Nov. 5th

Today I got up and got on my treadmill and walked 2 miles. I walked on a 4% incline. Didn't get my heart rate up all that much, but I was sweating. It just felt good to move again. My neck is doing good this morning, I hope it stays that way.
 
Today I did Rev Abs Full Throttle Intervals, 40 min, 344 calories. I then did Rev Abs Full throttle Abs, 43 min, 344 calories. I ramped it up a bit using the rebounder for the run turns and when Brett was doing the Rev Anthem (which I find annoying) or explaining and taking a break I did jacks and tuck jumps. I then did Shiva Rea's Power Yoga Flow, mandala Namaskar and water core segments, 20 min, 102 calories. Total time was 1 hr 43 min, 790. I put some Hungry Girl suprise chicken chili in the crock pot this morning. It was nice having it ready for lunch today:D
 
Today I did Cathe's Yoga Relax. Great relaxing yoga workout. I really enjoyed it and I feel really good right now. Pain is pretty much gone!

Roselyn - Yes, it's November! Can you believe it? :eek:

This morning, I did CC revised #1 and 4DS back and biceps :rolleyes: Well guys the worst is practically over. Got lights and my heat back Saturday BUT still no phone. cable or internet argh.......hopefully today, I've got a window between 4 and 5 with Time Warner

This morning I did Brazil Butt Lift Masters Higher and Tighter, 30 min, 133 calories. I started out with 5# ankle weights but stopped and changed them to 3# after the first round. I can already feel my" boom boom". That is what Leandro calls it. I then went on to do Rapid Fire Rock Steady Rock Hard and added the bonus heavybag workout. This was 79 min and calories burned was 580, My legs were on fire on some of this too. Susan has you get on your knees and do hydrants kicking the bag on all 4's. My butt was already feeling sore before I got there. Total workout time today was 1 h4 39 min and calories burned was 713.
Brazil Butt lift had standing work with the ball which alternating with the prone raises and holds. I lowered the weight because I was afraid the 5# leg raises would leave my low back hurting.

Teddy, I wanted the whole thing but I ordered just the 59 dollar set. I don't need the gloves and they add them at around 30 dollars. I am hoping the strength, abs, and stretch ones come out sometime later without having to purchase the gloves. I think the best deal is right now because you get free shipping. It is the same price with the coach or just Beach Body. I just bought Brazil Butt Lift masters and ended up with another stability ball. I think I now own 5 balls. Beach Body is bad about that. I want the other Rev Abs two advanced ab workouts but they sell them with equipment. It is just too much for two 30 min workouts. I had to buy the barbell with Les Mills Pump. Not real sorry about that now that I have it though because I can load up more than one barbell in readiness.

Debbie, glad things are better with your neck. I think the yoga relax is a good one for the neck.
 
Today I did Cardio Coach #3 and had a good workout. Still have a bit of a tweak in my neck, but other than that I did well with this workout.

This morning, I did GS legs. I had a good workout 'BUT' for some reason my right knee/leg is sore been feeling this for a week now. I think it is just inflammation. Last night I used a heating pad preparing me for heavy lifting. I think the best treatment is MSM going to get some today.

Today I started with Rev abs Rev it Up cardio 44 min, 318 calories. Then I did Brazil Butt Lift Bikini Body 26 min, 144 calories. I finished with Rev Abs Merciless abs 15 nin, 73 calories, doing the spice round every rond. Total time was 85 minutes and calories burned was 527 calories. Brazil Butt Lift Bikini body was light weight. they use 3&5lbs and he used 5&8lbs. Mostly upper body except warm up which was squats, lunges, and side lunges with the ball and knee lifts. I used the Bosu Ballast ball.
My butt and low back are both feeling yesterday's workout. I know tomorrow's will be felt too because I previewed and it is squats, lunges, deadlifts with floorwork and ankle weights. Funny how a workout that sort of seems silly can be so hard. Really surprised. I need some extra stretching or something.

Teddy, what's up with the knee anyway. I can't take msm. It always sounded good and seems to be the added ingredient with glucosamine/chondroitin. Particularly with the gel capsules. I kept feeling ill after I would take it when I never had a problem. Research and talking to my doctor helped. I am allergic to sulpha drugs and apparently msm has something to do with that. I had to go lie down not long after I would take it. I felt so ill. Anyway, be carefull of things like this. I would think that there are not many with this problem but want you to pay attention to how you feel.

Today I did some yoga and did a new one I bought a few weeks back by Shiva Rea - Core Yoga. I like her workout but she does some really weird stuff and then she tells you to just go on your own and do whatever. I don't care for that, I'd rather her tell me which side I'm working on and what I'm doing, etc. But I worked up a good sweat and enjoyed it for the most part.
 
Did Step Blast today been awhile and had fun. I broke down and ordered Les Mills Combat.

This morning, I did CC revised 33 minutes of pure bliss, seriously I had a blasts, energy was to the roof. I only intended to do 20 minutes but I started feeling it and IT WAS ON!!!!!!!!! Then, I did 4DS chest shoulders, triceps.

Yesterday, I took 2 1000mg of MSM noticed by end of day my knee wasn’t as painful. And today I can bend my knee; and found myself running up my stairs, when I got to the top I was like DAM and I noticed that when I got into my tub this morning no one legged squat to sit lol.

Seems to me if you are a avid workout person, once you stop shit happens. I never ever had a knee problem. But, since I been off my game my eating habits changed eating some of everything; even picked up 15 1bs Ouccchhhhhh that’s sad, but I’AM BACK, THIS IS WHAT I LOVE DOING.

Did I mention I still have no phone, internet or cable argh…………………hopefully by the time I get home; all is well.

Diane: Girl, your workouts are fierce!!!!! I decided I’m going to pre-order Les Mills Basic, for one I have Cathe KB gloves and as far as the 4 bonus workouts Les is offer; I’m sure I can do without them for NOW I have tons of lower body workouts . So yeah! I am going to stop tripping l:eek:lol and go order now.

This morning I did Rev Abs Strength and Endurance 38 min, 264 calories. I then did Brazil Butt Lift Masters Impanema Booty 35 min, and finished with Brazil Butt Lift Masters Cardio Carnivale which is a dance workout, 29 min, 222 calories, max hr 141. I felt silly with my two left feet. He is not too hard to follow though. Impanema Booty is rounds of lunges, squats, and deadlifts with floor work wearing ankle weights. I used 15# dumbbells on the standing work. I think I should go to 20's. Anyway I got enough heavier stuff with Rev Abs. Total time was 1 hr 42 min and calories burned was 672. Brazil Butt Lift is sort of corny but I will say that my butt is still sore today.

Debbie, once you do Shiva's workouts a few times you get what she is doing without looking but, I know what you mean. I have had to stop and look at her and just stare. But they are challenging and I learn new stuff that is pretty good.

Roselyn, I like Rev abs but I think I will burn out on it pretty quick. I think I am getting results but like many workouts they get repetitive. Each ab workout moves on to pretty much the same moves with some additional difficulty. He has cardio burst in almost all of the workouts except mercy abs and merciless abs. Strength and Endurance that I did today had some kicking moves which are the same things I did yesterday in Rev it up Cardio. He pulls the abs and core into all of the workouts. I am not sorry that I have them but will probably fit them in here and there. I have been doing them for almost 4 weeks now. I add extra cardio on my own every time he stops to explain a move(generally the first round) and whenever he does his rev anthem saying rev it high rev it low and some other stuff. I tend to tune out.

First, I got to say; my legs are SORE TO THE CORE, eek! thank you GS Legs omg......:eek::rolleyes:

Workout this morning was KPC altho, I had a good workout, it wasn't my best.............due to the soreness;)

MY cable, phone and internet, back on:):) However TW has to come out to get my tv working in my bedroom other 3 tv's are showing pictures except mines duh.....think it has much to do with the black box.

I did Rapid Fire 3 Premix Blast harcore that was w/u, tabata, weights, abs, and stretch 36 min, 250 calories. I then put in Cross Fire and did Plyo Tabata and low impact tabata, 9 min, 96 calories. I finished off with Brazil Butt Lift Masters bikini body 26 min, 192 calories. I was able to ramp this up the second time through. He does a cardio w/up with the stability ball and I added more hops and jumps and swings to it. I also upped the weights because he uses 8's and drops to 5,s and I went to 10's and dropped to 8's. The girls use 3&5lb. I am thinking of going ahead and doing the Higher and Tighter one in awhile since I may not be able to workout the next couple of days. Total calories was 538 and time was 71 min.

Teddy, nice work. I bet it is nice having the internet and cable working.
 
No workout today. I still had grandchildren here. It was just family fun all weekend.
