Today I did cardio. I chose one of my Cardio Coach mixes. Had an ok workout. I finally feel about normal but I can tell my cardio endurance has suffered.

I am back from the dead:eek::eek: Not sure what program I'm going to start with, but it will be something...hm....STS I believe. Had some serious problems: like coming to work as norm and about an hour later back pain so bad I couldn't walk or stand had to go to the emergency and I also been off work a few weeks....duh. They thought I had a stroke, but, I didn't. Thank God!

Anywho, your girl is back. See you tomorrow.

Diane: Dang girl, you've been working 'Body Beasts' my son started to, he's about 2 wks in.

This morning was Body Beast week bulk week 5 chest, 30 min, 120 calories. I followed with Les Mills Pump Sports Attack 29 min., 263 calories, max hr 167. I finished with Les Mills Hardcore Abs 15 min, 80 calories. Total time was 74 min and I burned 463 calories. Yesterday I did Yoga Max. Normally it would have been a day off but my neck and right low back and hip were achey so I decided to add in more yoga.

Teddy, glad to have you back. I sorry that you had to go to the hospital. What a relief that it was not a stroke.

Debbie, you will get the endurance back soon.

Roselyn, are you doing a Slow and Heavy rotation?
 
Today I did a short yoga workout. I did Karen Voight's Yoga Strength. It's only about 25 minutes. My low back has been hurting from coughing so much so I didn't want to change pulling it out. I feel good right now, glad I did it. I think it helped the tightness I was feeling back there.

Tomorrow no workout. I have to be at work by 7, so really early day tomorrow. Thursday I'll do cardio and Friday I'll do yoga again. I think next week I'll try to do a total body workout, like Muscle Max or something. See how I do. I'm still worried about my upper back. Believe it or not, it's still not 100% gone. And when I do repetitive movement with my arms, I really feel the tightness again. Yesterday I was stapling stuff and putting folders together and that same movement made it start to hurt again. I wonder why? It should be healed by now. I've stopped doing almost everything that was irritating it.

Teddygirl - Glad you are ok, I was wondering where you went off to. Scray stuff about the stroke, but I'm glad that wasn't it. How did you hurt your back?

I see it is going to take a miracle to get me up at 4am I did get up to shut the alarm off :D:D then laid down and whatcha know 2nd alarm went off at 5:45am :D

Debbie: I did nothing but came to work. The doctor said it was a case of my lower lumbar spine that was swollen which triggered Sciatica lots and lots of pain in my back. I think its the way I sit at work I never sit all the way back in my chair. I sit up straight image that for 8 hours.

Sciatica (pronounced sigh-at-i-ka) is a common ailment, often affecting people who work for prolonged periods while sitting down. Sciatica, technically, is pain along the large sciatic nerve, which runs from the lumbar region down the back of each leg.
A herniated disc often causes sciatica, by putting pressure on the nerve roots that become the sciatic nerve. Although sciatica can be painful or even debilitating, it is not always permanent. In fact, about 80-90% of people with sciatica improve over time without surgery.

This morning was Body Beast Bulk Legs week 5 41 min, 251 calories. I went heavier on the forced sets to 40 this time. I did lower the deadlifts to 35's because my back is still bothering me. I followed this with Cathe's Yoga abs from STS abs 15 min, 39 calories. I finished with Chalean Extreme Dynamic flow yoga with 1# weight gloves. I think BeachBody's are .75#. This was 39 min and calories burned 102. I was going to do cardio but just feeling pretty exhausted the last couple of days. I will try to add some to arms tomorrow.

Debbie, is there a difference at work like maybe a new desk or chair or something that is aggravating it? If I spend a lot of time at our counter working on paperwork I get pain in between my shoulders and in my neck. It seems with what you have been doing it would be gone.

Man oh man, alls me gone say is lawd....lawd....lawd :eek::cool: getting up this morning was the hardest thing ever lol. But, guess what I did it.

This morning, I did Candace's no incline just a slow steady jog and had no problem from my back, altho, I was bit leary.

This morning's workout was Beast Bulk Arms week 5, 36 min, 220 calories. I then did Chalean Extreme Intervals, 41 min, 276 calories, Max Hr 160. This was a nice change with the ball and weights. I haven't done it in awhile. I then did Shiva Rea's Power Yoga Flow fire and waterd from the matrix, 21 min, 75 calories. Total time was 98 min and calories burned was 571. I tried to use 25# on the hammer concentration curls but with it being a progressive set I couldn't do it. Had to stick with 22.5# on the 8 rep set. Maybe next time:) Weights stayed the same as last week.

Teddy, great job getting up and getting that workout in:D

Roselyn, it must have been some workout.
 
Teddy, I know I have gained more muscle. I want more in the legs. The macros Chang during the last 4 weeks That is next week. Cardio increases so we will see. One of the weeks I will be out of town so at the mercy of what eating comes at me.

Today I did cardio and just did some sprints and hill climbs on my own on my treadmill. I burned a good amount of calories so I'm happy with that.

Diane Sue - I'm sorry I didn't answer your question from a couple days ago. I think my chair has something to do with it, but there hasn't been a chair I've sat in that is comfortable for me. I just have terrible posture and when I try to correct it, I get pains in my low back. Whne I slouch, my low back feels good. But sitting up straight helps my upper back problem. So it's a catch 22 for me. I may take the arms off the chair I have now, that sometimes help. When I rest my arms on the arms somethings that causes me pain. Weird, huh?

Today, I did KPC :cool: I excluded the jumping and still got a good workout. Yesterday, around 1ish my upper back felted a little tight or something; bit of pain so I took pain pill doctor prescribed and poooosh all gone. Right now, feeling good.

Debbie: when I am on my treadie all I seem to care about is calories burned:eek: Nice work,
 
Today I did Beast Cardio 31 min, 231 calories, max HR 158. I followed with Beast Abs 11 min, 58 calories. I then added :D Rapid Fire Heavy bag, abs and core , stretch 35 min 224 calories. Total time was 77 min and calories burned was 514.

Debbie, funny that you should mention the differences because I keep trying to use good posture and my low back hurts more. I thought maybe P90X2 rotation would help me correct it. Well, I got better and maybe should have done the longer rotation. I was getting better lining things up on my off side. But then there is pain and discomfort. I am sure trying to make something move in the way it is not used to would cause pain at first. How to get around it?? I am clueless. I hope that I am making sense.

Teddy, I had to go back and edit the name on that last post to you. Sorry, I was thinking of someone that I was worried about and your names come close. KPC is a classic Cathe Kickbox workout. Nice work.

No workout today, I just couldn't get up. It's been a long, crazy week and I just needed more rest.

Next week I'll be back with a full week of workouts and I'm adding in one day of weights. Don't worry, I will go light. I promise. I'm liking how I look and I won't get crazy with the poundage. I think I'm going to be able to do that.

Diane Sue - I've noticed you and I have similar problems with our bodies. Are you sure you aren't my twin? LOL!!!
 
Today was Beast Bulk week 5 back, 30 min, 172 calories. Most of it stayed the same. I lowered to 40 lb on the pullover because last week I used 45 and I think I let the weight go to low overhead because my neck hurt for several days afterward. I raised the deadlifts to 37.5's since my back was feeling better this week. I would have went to 40's but my Bowflex weights got off set and I couldn't change the weight. Once done with the workout I figured out to take out the plates then put the bell in with the weights on it and got them released. I cleaned them all up and reinserted them. Hopefully they don't lock up on me or anything again. It gets frustrating. After the weight incident I came back and finished out with Turbo Fire Hiit 30 ,31 min, 286 calories ,and Turbo Fire stretch 40, 41 min, 142 calories. Total time was 1 hr 42 min and calories burned 600.
