Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for week of 7/1

Today was cardio and I did Cardio Coach #6 with Candace. I went to the Vitamin Shoppe last week and got some supplements that I probably shouldn't have bought. I bought effervescent tablets you put in water to give your body electrolytes when you run. I drank half of it before I started my workout and then drank the rest during the workout. My HR has been high the last few times I've done cardio and the lady at the VS said this should help. It seemed to have helped. I felt like I could go on forever. Maybe it was all in my head, but whatever. I felt great while doing this workout.

I also bought Glutamine powder to help my muscles recover from my workouts. I hope that helps with the soreness. I never understood why I was always so sore after every one of my workouts. You would think after all these years of working out, my muscles wouldn't get as sore anymore. Even with these once a week total body workouts, my body is sore for days afterwards. I'm hoping this will help. We shall see. $71 dollars later, I better get some results. :)
 
Today I did Beast Bulk legs, 43 min, 309 cal. increasing the weight from when I ended this workout last summer. I then did Beast Bulk Chest 26 min, 123 cal... I finished with X train tabatacise step blast only, then tabatas 1&3 ending with the stretch, 26 miin, 250 calories. Total time was 95 min and calories burned 682.
I pre-ordered Cathe's new workouts this morning. I told DH I wanted it for my birthday and there was only two days left of the pre-sale .:D

Debbie, I hope that those things help. Everytime I go to GNC I spend so much and worry that I am throwing my money away. I have taken L Glutamine for a long time. I just recently ran out. I am running out of everything but dread the cost of buying more. I was so tired for awhile and started taking B12 chews, along with C and B 100. It seems to have helped because I was dragging myself around to do stuff.
 
Today I did Bryan Kest's Energize yoga workout. I like this workout, it always makes me feel flexible after I do it. I guess that's the point, huh? :)

Today I did Body Beast Bulk Arms and Abs, 47 min, 241 calories. I then did Combat 30 live, 34 min, 286 calories. I finished with Strength and Stretch, 18 min, 79 calories. Total workout time was 90 minutes and calories burned 606.
 
Arial Castro (the sick *u$k who held the three women captive for 10 years) has been evaluated and is mentally capable to stand trial. He asked the judge if he would be allowed to see the child he had with one of his captives. The judge said, "I will not allow it." Thank God. That child does not need to be near that monster. I hope this is a swift trial and that the girls are spared appearing in court. They really don't need to relive that nightmare.

Today I did a workout I haven't done in literally years. My notebook shows the last time I did this workout - Pyramids - was in 2009. I chose the Bonus Combo's premix and it was fun and I had a great workout.

This is what it entailed:

Superset - Squats/Plie Squats - 35/40/45#
Step Ups - 10's/12's/15's
Superset - Chest Flyes/Press - 10's/12's/15's
Superset - Pullovers/Double Arm Rows - 10's/12's/15's
Step Ups - 10's/12's/15's
Static Lunges - 10's/12's/15's
Tri-Set - Rear Flyies/Lateral Raise/Front Raise - 1's/3's/5's
Deadlifts - 30/35/40#
Calf Raises
Supersets - Kickbacks 1's/3's Overhead Extension - 10/12/15
Supersets - Hammer Curls/Traditional Curls - 10's/12's

Shoulder and Tricep work I went really light because all those exercises irritates my upper back. Bicep work I stuck with 10's and 12's because that was just hard.

I looked back to see what I used to do with this workout and I can't believe the weights I used to lift. For shoulder work I used anywhere from 8's to 15's. :eek: No wonder I'm in pain all the time. How stupid of me. I was using 12's for the front raises at one time. Crazy stuff.
 
Today's workout was Body Beast Back 30 min, 190 calories followed by X Train All Out Low Impact Hiit +Core1, 50 min, 421 calories. Total time 80 min calories burned 611.

I hope you all have an excellent Fourth. We are headed to the parade in a bit. This morning I did X train Tabatacise 45 min, 421 calories. That is it :)
