Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for week of 6/10

Today was cardio and I made up two new Cardio Coach mixes last week. I did one of them today but the last challenge wasn't the right challenge. Oh well. Had a good workout anyways.

It's raining (again) but at least getting warmer out. Geez, you would think it was fall here and not summer. Very frustrating when you wait all year for warm weather.

TOday is week 3 of P90X for so chest,back and abs again. I did finally do some yoga yesterday (YogaX) and I must say I feel my muscles in a different way today. I have never done the week between P90X routines, the core synergestics, stretch etc., has anyone here done the whole program and what about that in between week?
 
Today we are on the road. We visited my Dad for 3 days. This morning before I left I did the squat challenge with tubing 160 reps. I tossed in 25 reps biceps curls and 25 reps standing crunches with tubing as well.

Roselyn, the first time through P90X I did the week with core Synergistics. I did add extra cardio. I also followed phase 1 of the eating plan throughout. I got great results.
 
Debbie, it was getting pretty warm in Oklahoma till the storms hit. It was cooler and drizzling when we went through Iowa. I only bought summer things and a light Nike jacket so I hope it is a little warm. It is clear as we are driving Morth though.
 
Today I did Jillian Michaels Yoga Meltdown #2. I like that workout but can do without listening to Jillians annoying comments to Beshera (sp?). So annoying.

Diane Sue - The weather everywhere has been really weird. Blazing hot in LA and San Diego - that's unheard of. Colder this way, tornados everywhere. Scary stuff. We are suppose to be in the 80's today and tomorrow. I'm glad because I'm freezing right now!
 
Diane Sue, yes I will just add more cardio and you did no weight lifting? I cannot find my nutrition guide I think it got ruined when my basement flooded a few years ago and P90x wants to charge me 29.95 for a new one, is there any way I could get a copy of the diet plans from you, not the recipes.

Anyway, today was Plyometrics for me
 
Today was lifting and I chose Muscle Max. I haven't done that workout in ages. Had a great workout. I hope I didn't over do it. I stopped when I felt like I was.
 
No workout today. I was up in the middle of the night waiting for a storm to go over. It got pretty bad around 2 a.m. I went downstairs to watch the radar and it moved through pretty quickly but then I couldn't get back to sleep. My alarm went off at 4:30 and I just shut it off. I'm glad we didn't get hit as bad as they said. They kept saying tornadoes but luckily I don't think any touched down.
 
Yesterday was 160 squats on the challenge. I have been going a little ahead of where I should be at times. There is supposed to be a rest day then 180 reps. I will probably do the 180 today since we will be heading out again early tomorrow. Got to see some beautiful scenery around Lake Michigan yesterday and went to a fishing shopping area that was fun. I have been adding a little bit of other stuff with the tubing as well.

Debbie, I know how those storms can keep a person awake. I am not good at all sleeping through them. Once out of bed I have a hard time going back to sleep again.
 
No workout today either. I'm taking today and the weekend off and then starting fresh on Monday. I'll be able to workout later because we are on our summer schedule so I'm sure my workouts will be better. Hoping to add a little more lifting in.
 
No workout today. I think I will wait till after I get home since we should be back tomorrow.
