Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for week of 5/27

Today I did a quick Cardio Coach workout. I did #3. Had a pretty good workout. Hope you all have a great Memorial Day!

This morning I mixed up my workout a bit. I like a little more warm up (wake up) than the short warm up on the Beast so I did X train all out low impact hiit w/u and floor work 19 min. I then did Beast Build Chest and Triceps week 1. The chest work was tough. I am still sore from Fridays chest and back work that I did. I barely made it through 30's on the first move. I then did Cathe's To the Max Solid step and step tabata, core with upper focus, 20 min. At this point I remembered the Squat challenge and did 65 reps with 15# dumbbells. I was going to increase the weight but I have Beast legs on tap tomorrow. This was a little over 3 minutes. I finished with Les Mills Combat Stretch and Strength. Total time was 1 hr 50 min and calories burned 664.

I hope you all have an enjoyable Memorial day weekend.

Debbie, nice work.

Today I got up late. I guess I liked how sleeping in felt! :) I did Jillian Michaels Yoga Meltdown workout #1. I do find this one harder than that 2nd workout.

Hope you all have a great day!

Today I did Super Sets again. I upped the weights a bit and did really well with it. A few exercises still doesn't feel right with my upper back - like bent over flyes. But most of them I was able to do. I haven't really had any pain in a while, just some tightness here and there. I'm hoping it's slowly healing.

Today's workout was Body Beast Build Back and Biceps week 1 block 1. 51 min, 330 calories. I followed with the squat challenge 75 reps with 15's. It was at that point that I realized that there was some doms from yesterday's workout. I then did Tracey Staehle's Cardio Kickbox Challenge 20 min mix, 22 min, 144 cal.. I finished with Turbo Fire Stretch 40 stopping at the meditation 38 min, 120 cal.. Total time was 1 hr 54 min and calories burned 620.

Debbie, nice work on getting back into the weights again.

Today was cardio and I did Run Fit again. Love, love, love this workout! I did well with it and I'm finding I'm jogging much more than walking with these workouts now. I feel like when I'm walking even for the rest periods, I'm not doing enough, so I'm jogging most of it. I'm excited about this!

Diane Sue - Thanks! I want to do more but I'm afraid too. Maybe in a couple weeks I'll add one more day of weights in.

This morning I did Beast Shoulders, 40 min, 163 cal.. I then did the squat challenge 80 reps with 15# dumbbells, 26 cal. I followed with Intensity Step premix, 36 min, 300 cal.. I finished with Beast Abs 11 min, 60 cal and Chalean Extreme Ab Burner 10 min, 40 cal.. Total time spent was 94 and calories burned 589.

Debbie, nice job on the treadmill. I wish I could get excited about getting on the treadmill. I used to do it almost daily. I guess I need to push to add it in once in awhile again.

Today was suppose to be yoga but I seem to have slept wrong and that muscle that runs down the left side of my back (between the shoulder blade and spine) felt a bit twisted. So I walked on my treadmill for 20 minutes (1 mile) and then did Yoga Stretch by Karen Voight. It helped, I'm feeling pretty good right now and the muscles doesn't feel twisted anymore.

Diane Sue - I'm not sure why I love using my treadmill so much. Everyone asks me if I ever get bored with it. Actually, I don't. Sometimes I get sick of the workouts, but lately I've just been enjoying them.

Today was P90 legs, back and ab ripper.

Debbie, I have yoga on my calendar for Sunday, I do not ever do it but I hear so much about the benefits I guess I will give it a try, hope your muscle feels better.

Today's workout was Kettlenetics 47 min, 301 cal.. I then did Beast Total Body 39 min., 246 cal.. I finished with Cathe's Yoga Max Express#2 34 min, 107 cal.. Total time was 2 hr and calories burned 654.

Debbie, I have loads of treadmill workouts. I have the CC's , a lot of itrains, and I have a couple of free downloads from Brook Benton's site(these are some of my favorite because I enjoy the music), and Tracey's Walking stronger workouts. I just don't get into them much. I should. I used to read when I did the walking stuff. Now I hardly find time to read. At least that way I accomplished two things at once :) I am glad that you are enjoying the workouts.

Roselyn, I think yoga and flexibilty workouts are important to help keep from injuries happening. I know they aren't huge calorie burners or anything but they can sure feel good.

Today I did Tracey's High Intensity step challenge skipping the total body segment, 82 min, 640 calories. I then did Beast Tempo Chest and Triceps. These are tough and I went pretty light. I also did the squat challenge 100 reps today with 15lb. I skipped the warm up which is short anyway on Beast Tempo. Total time 2 hr 13 min, 849 calories. Tomorrow is a rest day.

Roselyn, that is a long time. Congratualations to your parents. We celebrated our 40th in March :)

Today I did X train Tabatacise mix with all 5 tabatas, Burn set back, Core#2, 71 min, 573 calories. I need to shower and head out of town. Hopefully the rain and flooding is not too bad. I woke to thunderstorms at 4 this morning. Heading to Oklahoma City. I dread that 2 hr drive.

I think you guys are posting on the wrong thread. I thought I made one up for the week of 6/3?? Maybe not, I'll have to go back and check.

Anyways...

I wanted to do Push/Pull today but my electric went out yesterday for some odd reason and my TV/DVD player needs to be setup again and I don't know how to do it. It's an old TV and I don't even think I have the remote for it. I'll have to wait until Gene gets home and ask him how to fix it. Anyways, I just winged it and did my own Push/Pull. Had an ok workout, didn't really feel much like working out as it was. Almost went back to bed!
