Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for week of 4/29

Today was cardio and I chose Run Fit again. LOVE LOVE LOVE that workout! I'm getting better at it every time I do it. I'm finding I'm doing a steady state more and more rather than just walking it out. I'm getting some good mileage with this workout.

CARDIO STATS:
56 minutes total
5 minutes below zone
16 minutes in zone
36 minutes above zone
477 calories burned
3.3 miles traveled

Down to 137#.

This morning I did P90X 2 P.A.P. Lower, 61 min., 385 calories. I then did Les Mills Combat 30 Kickstart, 20 min., 244 calories. I finished off with X train legs floor work wearing ankle weights and using a 5# dumbbell, and the stretch, 18 min., 90 calories. Total time was 1hr 49minutes and calories burned was 719 calories. Tomorrow will be P.A.P Upper and a low impact cardio workout. I will head out of town after that and repeat the lower and upper body workouts when I come back either Friday or Saturday.

Debbie, nice work and great job on the weight loss :D

Today was yoga and I chose Karen Voight's Yoga Strength. Had an ok workout, this one isn't too hard. Last time I did yoga it flaired up my shoulder blade area again and it took about 5 days to go away. Now I'm even afraid to do yoga. I gotta get this looked at. I was thinking about getting a theraputic massage to see if that will help loosen the muscle. My company deals with a place that accepts our insurance so I think I'm going to go that route. I'm afraid once I start riding my motorcycle again this thing will get really bad. I don't want that to happen.

This morning I did P90X2 P.A.P. Upper, 53 min, 328 calories. I then did Sharon Twombly's Zero to Sixty Intervals only premix 30 min, 208 calories. Total time was 83 minutes and calories burned 537. I am out of town now till Friday.

Debbie, pretty soon it will be excellent riding weather. You definitely don't want it to flare up. You never made it to the doctor?

May already. But yay! The weather is finally getting nice! :)

Today was cardio and I chose a mix of Cardio Coaches I made up. It was a short one but I gave it all I had and did really well.

CARDIO STATS:
38 minutes total
2 minutes below zone
15 minutes in zone
22 minutes above zone
324 calories burned
2 miles traveled

Diane Sue - No, I never did. I had to cancel the appointment because of my mom's surgery being pushed back a few days. I didn't want to leave her alone that day I had the xray's scheduled. I still don't think xray's will tell anything. This is definitely a muscle problem.

Morning,:D

I missed you guys :) This evening, I am going for a 5 mile run, yesterday took my puppy to the park; Tank ran with me 3.5 miles really it was more like interval running, my pup was ready to get loose in the park and he’s a runner and a jumper argh……….I figure I let him run himself crazy:eek:

Today I did Jillian Michaels Yoga Meltdown and did workout #2. This one is fun and it seems to go by really fast. Then I got on my treadmill and walked for 1 mile.

Teddygirl - I'm so sorry to hear about your niece. Was she sick?

Good morning guys :D

Debbie: Thank you :)

No workouts yesterday or today. I won't go home today. It is supposed to be sleeting and turning to snow this afternoon. U should be able to head home tomorrow. Funny, it was in the 80's yesterday. We walked to the back of my dd's 15 acres. It was beautiful outside. Their pond is filling up nicely. I got to meet Gracie their new cow.

Debbie, I hope it is just muscle. I think they can see other things with x rays. I know trying to figure these things out is hard. Doctors don't always know either. Just like my inexplained lump.

Teddy, good to have you back. I am so sorry about your niece. It looks like you have been busy. If takes awhile to train a puppy. It seemed forever before I was able to take mine for a walk without getting an a workout pulling on the leash.

Teddy, so sorry to hear about your niece.

I have not heard anything about Les Mills, but that would be great!

Today my workout was Les Mills Lower Lean Out and Standing part of xtrain legs. That is all i had time for.

Today was cardio and I chose Cardio Coach #5. This one is a pretty hard workout and it was puke status for me. I did really well with it and ran my @ss off.

Morning Guys :D

Yesterday, I got in 5 miles, yay!!! No puppy to hinder me; and I was so closes to taking him with me  Went to bed late last night, decided to cook for my brother, not sure if I’m going to workout other than take Tank for a nice long walk.

Debbie: LOL I like CC #5 too, nice job:)

Roselyn: Thanks, wouldn't it be nice tho, nice work:)

No workout again today. I was hoping. I even thought I might do one since I got home fairly early today but, I discovered a leak in the ceiling and was hoping the plumbers could get here. I guess since it is so late it will be Monday. I am glad it does not look like a big leak. It has to be pipes or something since it is in the lower ceiling so must be coming between up and downstairs. Not what I wanted to come home to. I will do a workout tomorrow but am on the fence with P90X2 PAP upper and lower. I suppose I could do both in one day. I guess I will have to see how I feel in the morning.

Teddy, no, nothing new on Les Mills. The latest from Beachbody is a 25 minute workout Insanity series. Non stop killer workouts is what it looks like. I think that I will pass. I don't hardly use Insanity. Someone needs to draw the line on some of the things that really are hard on the body. I am sort of afraid of that one. Probably because I am getting old heh, heh. Or maybe some of us older people that have been working out for many years have attained some wisdom. Then even with the lower impact stuff I see tons of high rep overhead stuff that makes me think more shoulder problems. So, I think I will just continue to pick and choose workouts and do portions of workouts because I want to be able to function for a lot longer. And you probably did not ask for all of that LOL

Today I did P90X 2 P.A.P. Lower 62 min, 400 calories. I then did P.A.P. upper skipping the repetitive moves in the warm up from lower 45 min, 275 calories. Total time 1 hr 47 min, calories burned 675. Now I am caught up other than yoga this week:D

This morning I did Les Mills Sports Attack, 30 min, 299 calories. I then did Les Mills Flow, 20 min, 110 calories. Workout was 50 minutes and calories 409.
