Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for week of 1/28

Today I didn't feel much like working out. I woke up numerous times last night with a really bad stomach ache. I was hoping I wasn't coming down with that stomach flu. I feel better now but didn't really do a real long workout. Yesterday evening I was planning on doing CC #7, but this morning I just didn't have it in me.

I chose Cardio Coach #1 and did ok with it.

Good morning guys:)

Debbie: hope your not coming down with anything; I'm still coughing; not bad, but still there, argh. I am praying for your mother:)

Yesterday, I did a 35 minute jog and XT chest shoulders & back.

This morning, I did Les Mills Combat 60 live Ultimate Warrior workout, freaking awesome:cool:

Today was yoga and I did Energize by Bryan Kest. Did great with it except it's so hard to be serious with these workouts when you have two cats playing around under you while you are doing Down Dog. And it's impossible to do Up Dog with them laying under you as well. That lasted about 10 minutes and then I was free to do the workout on my own. I love when they help me, though. :)

Roselyn - My mom is doing better. Her eye site came back slightly, at least she can see enough to get around her house on her own again. Thursday is our consult with the neurologist and then we see when she'll have the surgery to get the tumor out. Thanks for asking, I'll keep you updated.

Morning guys :D

Wake up a bit late this morning therefore I was unable to get in my 20/30 minute run, arrrggh. But, I did do XT biceps and triceps got them good to I went heavy; my upper body is talking to me:)

Debbie: glad your mom is doing better:)

Today was cardio and I chose Cardio Coach #8. I told you all I wanted to do #7, but 8 is the one I was thinking of. I got the two confused. So I did #8 and had a PUKE STATUS workout. This workout is hard but I did really well with it! Got a great calorie burn.

CARDIO STATS:
65 minutes total

20 minutes in zone
43 minutes above zone

Teddygirl - Thanks!

I am back from my trip. I did manage to get in some elliptical at my daughter's house and all but one of the Combat workouts for week 4. Today I did week 4 Combat upper body blowout, 25 min, 163 calories. I then did XTrain triceps burn set and biceps and triceps, 59 min, 320 calories. I then did XTrain Core #2 12 min, 50 calories. Total time spent was 96 min and calories burned was 533. Tomorrow I will start week 5 of Combat. There are 9 weeks in the rotation.

afternoon,

Honestly, I did not feel like working out this morning or coming to work. We (my family) got bad news yesterday regarding my nieces. Yesterday, we found out she's definately brain dead and now with only 6 days left to pull the plug. My brother only child, can you imagine?

Any who, going to take today and try to regroup see you guys tomorrow.

Diane: Glad you are back :)

Today was yoga and I did Bryan Kest's Tone. I haven't done that one in a very long time. I was intimidated by it. I think I've only done it a couple times. And although it was hard, and some of the poses burned my knees, I did well with it and I feel great. It's truly amazing how tight your body is when you start out and then by the end of the workout you are stretched and limber. I love it. I'll be doing that one more often.

Today is my mom's consult appointment with the neurologist. I'll let you all know what was said and when her surgery will be when I find out.

Today I did Les Mills Combat 60 Live, 53 minutes 403 calories. I then did some of Cathe's Hardstrikes heavybag, 6 min, 37 calories. Total time 59 min and calories burned 440. I need to hit the store but may do Combat Core attack and inner warrior when I get back. I like to go before school gets out. Walmart is miserable enough with crowds. I ordered X Train yesterday. I haven't recieved an e mail for shipping yet. I need to send my friend back the ones that she loaned to me. It was nice to be able to try some of them out.

Teddy, I am so sorry about your niece. I will be praying for you and your family. That is tough.

Debbie, sending prayers out for your mother too.

Update on my mom:

No date for the operation yet. The doctor wants another MRI and he wants her to se a Neuro-Optimologist (sp?) before he decides. He said the MRI that St. John's did was crappy and he can't really see the details he needs to see. Her next MRI is scheduled for Feb. 21st. I'm waiting to hear from the Optimologist about the date of her appointment. Honestly, I'm glad he is doing this. Maybe they can come up with something else, although it sounded like he was almost 100% sure the tumor is causing all her problems and that she would need surgery.

He gave her some coordination tests and she didn't do too well with them. It's weird. The woman can tell you anything about history, but ask her to touch her right finger to her left ear and she can't do it. I sort of chalked that up to it just being mom and her not understanding what people are asking her to do, but maybe she really does have a neurological problem? Maybe the tumor is causing more problems than I realized.

Anyways, we'll find out more at the end of February. And I can tell you this already, the waiting is the worst part! For me and my mom.

Today was cardio and althought I woke up with a sore throat and a stuffey nose, I had an excellent workout. I even wanted to workout this morning so I guess whatever is trying to get me isn't being too successful.

I did Candace's Run Fit workout again. I can't say enough how much I love this workout. It is a great workout.

Oh I know Debbie how much waiting how can make you nervous, hang in there. My mom had her mammogram in November and they found a small spot, then she had an ultrasound and the doc could not find it, so they are doing another this month to make sure nothing grew or changed, so that is always in the back of my mind.

Today I did Les Mills Combat live 60

This morning I did Les Mills Combat Lower body lean out, Upper body blow out and core attack. I also added on X Train legs ball and chair work and delt bonus. Total time spent was 99 min and calories burned 646. Tomorrow I will do Combat 60 live. That will leave two workouts to make up. Not sure if I will do something Sunday or not. That usually depends if I get to bed late. DH gets home this evening so I will justy wait and see. It would have to be lower on Sunday if I did something because Combat 45 is on the schedule for Monday and that is the other one I need to make up, Interestingly week 9 is only 4 days and stops so I could throw it in there.

Debbie, I am so sorry for the wait. That will be tough. We just need to keep praying for her.

Roselyn, I love Combat 60 Live. It is a fun workout:)

This morning I did Les Mills Combat 60 Live, 53 min, 403 calories. I then did the bonus heavybag and core 1 from X Train 23 min, 153 calories. I finished with Les Mills Combat Inner Warrior Strength and Stretch 18 min, 82 calories. Total time was 94 min and calories burned 638.
