Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for Wed July 30

Morning Maniacs -

This morning I did Barry's Bootcamp - Fat Blaster Upper Body Emphasis followed by Mission Abs, Mission Legs & Code Red workout. I used my heavier resistance band for most of the upper body.......could have used heavier on the lower body. I wore the Booty Band for the entire workout also. Should have probably done Mission upper instead of Code Red. Workout was 73" and I burned 588 calories.

My abs are still fatigued.........guess this workout does use weight for abs. We used bands, the large stability ball and I used a hand weight for some moves......guess I forgot that the other day when I said it was unweighted.

Dallys - how much was the Valslide Kit at Target? Do you think they have them online?

Good morning maniacs!

Down 2 pounds! Ecstatic about this. I feel so much better not eating any junk!! lol.
I can't wait to get home to work out. ME tonight. Love that one, other then the damn leg presses haha!

Sandy, last night wasn't so bad working out. I started about 5:30. MOst nights prob won't be till about 6. I like having dinner after, cuz I am always starving after I WO. Plus, right after a WO, I certainly don't want to eat anything bad!

Gina- welcome! There are def some hardcore lifters here!
 
Another day where I could hardly get out of bed. What the heck is going on? It's like I'm being drugged at night or something. My dh is feeling the same way. WTH???

Anyways, I dragged my butt on my treadmill and did Cardio Coach #2 revised. Had a fairly decent workout considering.

I did the Ab work from Kick, Punch & Crunch after my cardio.

Cardio stats only:
38 minutes
30 minutes in zone
231 calories burned
2.3 miles travelled


Not bad I guess.

Okay, I sort of deviated from my schedule this morning, I just did not feel like S&H ANYTHING ever had days like this?

Oh! BTW, I did GS legs standing last night, it was short and sweet, just what the doc ordered. Felted GOOOOOODDDD :p.

That was it!

This morning, I had fun…fun…..fun…I did KPC & abs. Tomorrow, I will make up for missing today's UB workout and do bi’s & tri’s, Be Back!:cool:

Welcome Gina, I don't think anybody on this check in has been on the road trip except for Randi.

Yesterday I did Jari's Ripped and Chiseled, using mostly 5-8# for upper body and 10# for lower body. When I say that I have to add that I think it's strange that when they show their weights on the screen it's actually total weights, mine aren't except for lower body stuff. I think that makes more sense, but oh well. I burned 248 calories, really not worth wearing the hrm for weight days.

I ate well considering I missed meal 1 and all snacks due to time restrictions, my
total calories was 1251 (M2-2 veggie burgers and a whole grain crisper, M3 Wendy's side salad ceasar, M4 salmon on a salad with a blackbean spinach side) NOT enough calcium even with my supplements.

32%fats,
45% Protein
22% carbs

Tonight is a step, or something all cardio, may try ASC again with the power ups.

Lora, I checked online for the valslides and no such luck. I think amazon.com has the same kit by go-fit as what dallys was talking about for around 30. I'm gonna break down and get them this weekend since lower body going to be my focus, I'll let you know what they cost.

Lora and Amber- Yep, it's the same kit over at Amazon and I'm pretty sure that's about the price I paid. Lora, if you already have the Valslides, I don't the DVD is worth that price alone.;)

Gina- Welcome! I was sure I'd seen you name before, but wasn't sure.

Teddy- Nice workout! Glad you got your brakes fixed...Finally!

Debbie- I haven't wanted to get up either. I'm blaming it on the heat, it's sucking the life outta me!

Teddy- yep, I'm lovin' the 10 min. trainers. The Cardio workout is my absolute fav! I sweat more in that in only 10 min., than any other cardio I have, bar none. Unbelievable how it works so well for me. Lora has the deluxe set and I HOPE SHE DOES THEM SOON ;)because I need to know what they're like. If you get "one on one" let me know how they are. I just love Tony.:eek::p

I think I’m in trouble, my boss ordered lunch for us today. He ordered form Donatos Pizza. EEK! :eek:

I couldn’t resist.WTH its FREE I ordered a signature veggie pizza. No Crust and 10 hot wings. Trying to figure out how to handle this situation, really :eek:

Teddy, are you in columbus? I just have to tell you that Donato's is my favorite pizza of all time, thin crust veggie. I lived on it for 3 days straight taking the bar exam in columbus many years ago. To this day, i have to go there when I'm in columbus. Small world.
 
Speaking of food that my not be the bestest for you, today is National Cheesecake Day. Well...it may not be a full-on national holiday, but it is for The Cheesecake Factory. I've been plotting lunch there ever since I found out about this blessed event, and my friend was down, but now she's hung over and can't make it...grrrrrrr....I may go alone anyway. I have kind of an annoying schedule today where between eyebrow waxing appt and work at both schools I teach at, I wouldn't be able to be home for more than an hour between all that, so maybe I should just chill at a restaurant.

My booty is sore from the combined effect of the last couple days' workouts. I think, though, the next time I add on walking lunges I'll either do more or try to hold some light weights. Won't be able to workout till I'm home this evening; it'll either be upper body or yoga. Have a great day, everyone.
 
Amberwave: No I live in Ohio and I work in Twinsburg. Donato’s is everywhere, I don’t usually eat junks foods how ever been on a roll since July 4th. Donato’s what I did, instead of eating I ate my turkey burger instead will be taking wings and veggie pizza home and nibble a few days, until I throw away. I have my 14 year old client today so he will eat 4 they so freaking tiny I like whole wings, but they’ll get eaten ssssssssssllllllllloooooooooowwwwwwwwwlllllllllyyyyyyyy

Hermia: I can’t hear you, la..la..la..la..la. No cheese cake woman! Absolutely NOT!

M1: ON whey protein shake w/strawberries & banana
M2: Chocolate Coconut BSN w/ 1/2 c. oats & 1 tbsp. ground flaxseed
M3: Turkey patty on 1 slice 12 grain bread; 2 tbsp. raw almonds; pickles
M4: Chicken salad w/Ranch yogurt dressing; Nectarine
M5: Potato Cod; Sauteed veggies w/ 2 tsp. parm cheese
M6: Banana Protein Pancake w/ 2 tbsp. power pb

1764 calories
60 g. fat - 31%
146 g. protein - 33%
124 g. carbs - 28%


Not liking this breakdown. I seem to be missing 10% of something. Those %'s aren't adding up. WTF?

M1: 3 egg whites 1 pack of grits
M2: turkey patty on 100 cal English muffin, colby cheese, romaine, mustard
M3: 2 chicken wings w/veggie pizza
M4: BSN protein shake

I am not happy AT ALL with eatery, the lasts 2 days been terrible, WTH. I've only eaten meals 1,2 & 3 WTH is going on with me. I need Freaking food.
 
Hey Maniacs!!!

Today I worked chest/back/abs..had no time yesterday with so many interruptions. Need to just learn to work early in am on those days.

Anyhoo, did this:

Lat Pulldowns 70# 3/12 (went lower in weights cuz more reps)
Double Arm Rows 30# 3/12
Chin Ups 10,7,7 (did this first)
Push Ups 72 (6 sets of 12)
DB Flyes 35# 3/10

Abs I did on my own.

Tomorrow I will work biceps/triceps. I have some cleaning to do. Hubby was suppose to have gone to docs today for results..doc office called and cancelled til friday. I was not happy. Still trying to be very busy and keep my mind from wandering this way.
 
No results till friday? that's such crap. That must be infuriating. I hope the time passes quickly for you till then.

Teddygirl---you only ate half a day's worth of meals? Yep...you need food! I'm getting rather hungry myself right now. I bought a box of cheeze its (aka crack) the other day. I buy those sorts of things rarely. I have pretty good control in the grocery store, but if it makes it home, well, much less control. So far, though, I think I'm being more or less reasonable in my indulgences.

Just finished back and chest from 4DS...quite a few pushups in that workout. I did stretch segment #1 from Amy's Abs and Stretch afterwards.
