Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for Wed Jan 24

Meg,

You are right behind me as I posted. So your lower abs are sore??? Now that is hard to do. What workout did you do for that? I need to work my lower more.

And none of my dogs eat POOP unless it is a random cat that dumped in the yard.

Charlotte~~

Hey Maniacs!

Meg-What workout did you do again? Was it Bm2 double upper? What abs? I need sore abs too.:)

Char- I think I worded that wrong. I meant that I was stronger when I was doing P90X. I'm weaker on the pullups now, since I haven't been doing them. I like this rotation and yes, my room is a mess with it, steps and weights, and balls, all over the place. LOL! Tomorrow is the Challenge circuit and I'll be trippin for sure. You have to tell me exacally what oils you ordered and how and where to order. I think I'll try it. I'm not even into scents, but you got me all curious now.;)}(

Dallys - if I may just chime in here.....BPAL oils are not just "scents"....they are pure oils and very unique. You'll never wear "commercial" again after you try them (IMO). I tend to gravitate towards the Limited Editions whereas, Toasty has been liking the TAL's and General Catalog's. She has so many available that it helps to check out reviews on the forum www.BPAL.org and the main site for ordering is www.Blackphoenixalchemylab.com. Don't let the Gothic/Medevial tone of the site scare you away......as Beth is a true genius and makes a LARGE variety of blends. You can always go to the Forum and ask questions for rec's in the Recommendations Thread......or if you have an idea of what notes you like - I can help. Right now, the category called "Carnivale Diabolique" which is a LE line running for a while has the "SnakePit" blends which are variations on their infamous Snake Oil general catalog blend and it is quite popular. They are getting rave reviews and I love Snake Oil. Some good basic ones to start with would be Alice and Dorian. You can do a search for them, as I can't remember what category they are in. Tell me what notes you like and I'll try to help. I've tried almost every catalog blend and LE blend they've made! Talk about OCD!!

I can't decide what interval cardio to do tomorrow. My DH says I can go in the basement to use the Elipitcall since he's doing Core Syng tomorrow (and I haven't been able to use the equipment in the basement since he's been doing P90X), but it's so freezing cold down there that I don't know if I could enjoy myself. What's a girl to do. I hate this cold weather. I may just do Amy Bento's Hi/Lo Extreme. We'll see in the AM.

I managed a WO. I did the floor work from B&G, using my ankle weights. I did not do the hamstring roll-ins or ham presses. But I did do the glute squeezes on the ball (I think from DM), and I did seated leg extensions on the ball. I then did MTV Pilates leg segment, then did Rainbeau Mars Yoga Dusk, the inversions, savasahna, then teh bonus WO eliminating the downward dogs. I wanted to do more yoga, but I am still a little swollen, so not pushing it.

Lora, how is Amy's hi/lo extreme? I want to get that one and her kickboxing.

I am going to do a quick check in here. It has been a busy day. Things went wrong on out house we were purchasing.(The realtor didn't get the contract signed right away and someone came and offered more than the asking price). We decided to take ours off the market. I am tired of people looking at ours, playing pool on our pool table while we are sitting in the park when it is cold. And I hate emptying trash cans as soon as I see trash and trying to be constantly ready for short notice lookers. It is a relief.

Lora, you got in a great workout this morning. I thought of mentioning Body Max2 upper 2 times but thought you might be tired of it. I really like that one.

Suz and Dallys, glad my dogs don't eat poop. Yew!! They just get sick like most dogs from eating stuff out in the yard.

Diane Sue - I guess it's meant to be that you stay put. At least for now. Everything happens for a reason. That's one thing I hate about selling is having people in my house. And I always felt like I would have to mop my floors every day before work "just in case" my house would be shown because we'd always have so many showings. Drove me nuts. This is the 4th house we've owned here and if we stay in Wyoming we're NEVER moving again. I think if you decide to sell in the future you should put the balls from your pool table away. That would make me angry! People are so rude. You're lucky your dogs don't eat poop. I've never had a dog do that. I think she's teaching Gizmo too. We have a HUGE backyard so it's going to be a challenge to try to keep it all picked up. I hope that stuff from the vet will work. Like Dallys said, we have to put it on both of the dogs food b/c I don't know if she's eating hers and his. Lovely conversation! :p
