Morning Maniacs -

I'm up early today...ugh....I work open to close today and tomorrow. I did P90 Masters Sculpt 5-6. I added some extra exercises at the end to make it an hour long. Workout was one hour and I burned 380 calories.

Today was Meso 2, Week 3, Disc 21, Back and Biceps. Had a great workout. Loved this one. Again, we did Double Wave Sets.

I'm really seeing some good positive change in my body lately. My upper body is back to being defined and I can see some of my abs again. Very happy about this!

***Wow, and to think I was going to use 25's. 20's were way too heavy for this.

***Forearms were screaming by the time I was done.

Lora-I hope your day goes by fast

yesterday was plyo x. workout was 48 min and I burned 745 calores, I did a quick ab segment from kickbox extreme, took the dog on a walk, and then 20 min of yoga. I realize my calorie intake has been a bit high this last week, so I kept it a little lower yesterday. I think I need to be somewhere between 1700-1900 to lose weight. I will play around with this a bit until I get it right.

Hey Maniacs!!!

Gonna work chest/back today. Still trying to get rid of this stupid cold. Feeling better though. Got to decorate the house for Halloween. Hope I get time to watch some scary movies next month. lol.
 
I did my second workout of Insanity, really am enjoying it so far. I have taken rests when needed and am hoping that will be less as i progress in the series.
 
Char - Hope you feel better! I love scary movies too. If you haven't seen it, get "The Strangers". It's not really "horror", but it's a good scary thriller.

Roselyn - Glad you are liking Insanity. I know I couldn't do those workouts! Hope you see good results.
 
I got my workout in but had lots of delays. I kept two of my grandchildren overnight because my dd had to go to the VA hospital because her dh was having some tests run. Was trying really hard not to wake the grandbaby so I could get my weights in. Anyway I did STS meso 2 disc 17 legs followed by Amy's 10 min solution 5 day get fit kickbox and intervals and 5 min of the yoga. I had to really rush to get out the door and had to make a store stop. When I got home I did Kelly Coffey's 30 minutes to fitness Body Weight workout hip mix 22 minutes. A friend sent me this one and I wanted to check some of it out. I think maybe some light ankle weights would be good for that mix. It is all floorwork.
Calories burned for STS and 10 minute solution was 495. Calories burned for Body Training was 115. Total calories burned was 610.

Charlotte, the colds are going around here big time. I bought dh and I both a box of Zicam when I went to the store. I can feel one coming on and dh's is an all out miserable cold. Sounded like he might lose his voice last night. Our next door neighbors have the flu. Some of their family is taking Tamiflu. I feel like I need to stay way clear of there house :eek:

one leg slide back lunge 26# dumbbells 10 reps
repeat 2 more times

squats wide stance- 39.5# dumbbells 10 reps
one leg elevated lunge- 26# dumbbells (I used 2 dumbbells held at my sides)
deadlifts wide stance-39.5# dumbbells 10 reps
repeat 2 more times

3 sets 20 reps calf raises 35# dumbbell varying rep speed
 
Hi Everyone

Today was an unscheduled rest day. I had a driving lesson then a two hour interview. Its not really the job I would like but needs must. Hopefully I'll hear something soon.

Debbie: Glad you're enjoying meso two. That was my favourite mesocycle too. I can't wait to redo STS when shock cardio comes out.

Lora: Sorry about work. I can only imagine what you're going through. I think if I get this job I'll be clock watching all day. Its selling and cold calling urgh.

Roselyn: Well done with Insanity. Like Debbie said I couldn't do it, my knees wouldn't take it lol. But I'm sure you'll get excellent results.

Charlotte: Hope your cold is better soon. They make you feel awful don't they.

Tomorrow I'll try and get a cardio session in and get shoulders and chest done at the gym.

Went out to get the grandchildren and came back kind of sick to the stomach:confused: So, here I sit looking at the computer.
I was just looking at Tony Horton's One on One workouts. The new yoga one looks really good, I was also looking at the med ball core cardio one, and the ball core one. I think I would like to have all three. Has anyone heard any reviews anywhere on these? I only have his Road Warrior one which is good. I took it with me to my dd's this summer when I went to her house in the mornings to watch the grandchildren. I wonder when Rev Abs is going to come out?
