Does your Mio watch give you a zone reading? I don't think mine does.
 
Well - let me get this out of the way. I'm ashamed to admit that I got "let go" from my job today. They said it wasn't going to work out. I don't know why the heck they hired me from the Temp Service in the first place. Needless to say, I'm devestated once again.
 
Lora - what a bummer! Hopefully, you will find something soon with a more laid back environment. I am thinking of you and sending good thoughts your way.
 
Ally - My Mio gives HR and percentage of Max based on my resting heart rate. I don't know what "zone readings" are.....so I guess I don't have those. I too hope I can find a job quickly. Last time, it took me a year to find a job and I can't go thru that again. The economy is horrible.
 
What is your background? Did you say you lived in the Clevland area? I am sure that something will come up. Can you temp for a while? I did that for a few years and I sort of liked moving around. Not getting too involved with offices. I would work at banks and fill in for people on vacations, surgeries etc. It was a long time ago.
 
Lora, so sorry to hear about the job. I hope you find another one soon. I hope you find a job that you are comfortable with next time and that they treat you right.
I sort of explained how my HR monitor figures your own training zones above. It has zone 1 easy as in warming up something you could do 30-60 minutes. Zone 2 in medium challenging but you could maintain that pace for 20-40 minutes without it being to uncomfortable, zone 3 hard should feel hard. Something you could not do for very long maybe around 3-5 minutes.

Lora - I have to ask - where do you find out about all these videos? You have so many I have never even heard of. Just curious. The one you did today sounded great.
 
Diane Sue - oh....so sort of like the Zones in Cardio Coach. I have a hard time hitting my highest zone any more. I just went back and read your post. Great calorie burn. Was that for an hour of cardio? I'm sure you'll be burning tons of them! I'm addicted to my HRM! I feel lost working out without it.
