Morning Maniacs -

This morning I did Turbo Jam Cardio Party 1 and added some intensity to it to make it more intense. Workout was 45 minutes and I burned 317 calories. This reading should be correct since my resting heartrate did come down this morning. I also did Rainbeau Mars Pure Tranquility restorative yoga (30"). Short workout today, as I have that job interview at Coca Cola this morning.

Charlotte- I love Trick 2. It smells even better on the dry down. Have you ever smelled Lick It Again? It smells so good .....sweet scent. I'm wearing it today.
Jen - I only have a mild bladder infection. I'm prone to them and so I have to take antibiotics every once in a while if I feel a slight one coming on. I didn't let it get full blown and started my meds. I'll have to do the SWAT workout a couple more times before I make a conclusion. I was not working out at full intensity yesterday ...took it just a bit easy. There is no traditional back work in the workouts, but oddly enough my back feels worked differently. Must have been all of those Mountain Climbers and Squat Thrusts. I think they may be good for crosstraining and changing things up a bit....as I am mildly sore in a few places I don't normally feel anything. I only did the Weight Loss one which was like a circuit with some weights, mountain climbers, squat thrusts, and push ups with cardio moves thrown in. The Toning one used a resistance band.

Have great workouts everyone. I'll be around for a little bit and then I have to leave for a while.

Yes, trick 2 is really really good! I haven't smelled Lick It Again though. I like the others too and wore Temple of Dreams last night. I am sending you the cd out today, etc. Hope your infection clears up soon for you.

Charlotte- you just sold me. i am getting P90x! Your pics are amazing. Your back, shoulders, legs, everything, just awesome. You did a great job.

Lora- Yeha, Lick it seems to have a pepperminty smell to me. ONe of them smells like butterscotch in a bottle. Forgot which one. They are all so nice. I have a hard time deciding what to wear!

I have some nice chest DOMS already today. My inner thighs are still sore from 2 days ago too. I want to do B&G, yoga. But I really need some cardio today. So who knows. It will be later though since I am babysitting niece today.

Good Morning, I am doing another quick check in here. I have to take my grandaughters to school this morning. Their parents finally got back from DC at midnight. They were sleeping by then. We have family for dinner tonight for another birthday. I plan on doing cardio, abs and yoga this morning when I get back.

Lora, I was looking at deep discount. Have you done Yoga for Beauty Dawn & Dusk with Rainbeau Mars? I was curious how it is.

Diane Sue - yes, those are the best of her series. Excellent. Not real rigorous, but a nice gentle-invigorating workout. I love them for days I want to do yoga, but don't want to do something real tough.....but I also don't want to do a restorative one either. They make me happy....both of them. The Dawn one is great for stomach distress and Dawn for stress and just to feel good. Meg has them also and loves Dusk....hasn't tried Dawn yet.

Toasty - you look great in the pics. You don't even look like you weigh more!! Lunar update on Friday! Pink Moon.

Meg - Lick It is more minty than Lick It Again.....the latter has a stronger sugar note. Creepy is probably the one that smells like butterscotch....that's what it's supposed to smell like butterscotch and can't remember what else.

Hi to everyone else. Gotta go to my job interview now. IT's snowing again! (my cats are all sick with colds.....sneezing and coughing like crazy...poor babies).
 
This morning I did Pyramid Lower Body, standing portion only and then the lower body premix of Muscle Max. My legs were shaking big time. This is the weights I used:

PLB:
12/10/8/10/12 reps
Leg Press: 12's/15's/20's (used dumbbells)
Lunges: 12's/15's/20's
Squats/Plies: 45#/55#/60# (should have went lighter here, its so hard for me to go down in weights!)

MM:
Squats warmup: 10's - 24 reps
Squats: 45# - tons of reps and low ends
Static Lunge: 15's - tons of reps and low ends
Leg Press w/purple band - 2 sets/16 reps each let
Plie Squats: 15# - 2 sets/don't know how many reps

PLB:
Calf Raises & Stretch

Lets were shaking long after my workout. I was sweating so much I couldn't believe it! Felt great!

Was not able to get on here at all yesterday after my first post. I'll have to go back and read. Hope I didn't miss anything interesting! :)

Today I did CTX step and intervals. That is a fun w/o. CTX is so perfect for me. My w/o time is very limited!!! I wish Cathe would come out with a 2nd CTX!

Charlotte, You look amazing! You must have gained muscle weight!!! I don't see a bit of fat!

Lora, Do your ever take probiotics to prevent bladder infections? Or eat yogurt everyday? I could be wrong, but I think that might help with infections.

Hello my little peeps!

Taking a quick minute to say hey! Been so busy and I miss you all. I've been doing BFL weight workouts 3 days a week and varying my cardio - bike (getting ready for cycling season) and CC on the elliptical - oh, and my one Imax 2 - my calves are STILL sore!

I'm gonna start another P90X rotation Nov. 1. Planning ahead. Loved doing it during the holidays. Helped keep me in check with all the bad food! That will be after cycling season and I'll finish up right before Mexico in Feb. So who's in on another rotation then??? Maybe I'll actually do the last 2 weeks. }(

Gotta run. So much to do. So little time. Keep up the good work!

Diane Sue - do you think A Team Bootcamp is a good enough circuit workout to do in respects to the weight aspect?

Suz -thanks for the well wishes with my interview. Doubt they'll call me for a 2nd interview. They are looking for someone who is very high tech with current software and technology, i.e, PDFs, Excel, etc. and I'm not very current with all of that. Had to take a test and had to create something in Excel that I never did before and then copy into Powerpoint and print in a certain program. I winged it big time......but at least I did it.......not sure if it was correct.

This place is sort of quiet today. Everyone must be busy working out!
 
Yes, Lora...I just got done working out. My arms are still gorged with blood. Finished tri's and bi's and the random ab work from abs diet book. I feel good and toasted now.
