Aaagh! I just tried to post a message and lost it by jumping around on the thread.
Maeghan, I like your workout today. Haven't done RS in ages. I love SJP. Thanks for the compliment. Way to go on bringing your cholesterol down.
Deb, what a powerhouse you are. Bet you are getting really lean.
Suz, how did you like PlyoX? I enjoyed it and it made me sweat. I bought a different pad to work out on and it helped with the impact. I'm really hungry too with all the protein. Hip flexors are sore. Can't wait until tomorrow. Feeling leaner already, must be the lack of carbs. I'm going by the Phase 1 eating plan.
Char, are you liking this P90X stuff or is it easier than what you normally do? I keep thinking I want to get the form down first so I don't injure myself. 100 mile rides are not that hard, but it depends on the ride, whether there is a lot of climbing or not. The most I've climbed is 7000' in a ride and I was feeling it. Lot depends on the heat and wind conditions as to how hard the ride is. I wish you could ride a road bike some day and feel the difference. I love the speed on a road bike! However, mtn. bikes probably give you a better workout.
Dallys, maybe not a hobbit, but more like a basset hound. You know where they have a regular dog sized body, but short legs. Yep, that's what I resemble. I'm looking forward to Shoulders & Arms tomorrow. Hope you get your DVD's soon.
Amber, hope you can use the bands for pullup work. My Bowflex is going to work just fine for that. I just let the DVD run and go off in the side room and pump out whatever number and join in with Tony. Usually, because I'm weak. I finish before they do. I didn't even notice the shaved legs. Guess cuz I ride bikes with guys that shave theirs. My DH has pretty hairy legs and that's fine with me.
Randi, sounds like you're feeling up to your old self now. I like the Cardio Fusion premixes. They make me sweat, not much down time inbetween.
Charlotte, I am feeling bad about your FIL coming to stay for a while. Hopefully, it won't be too bad and that situations will be diffused before words are said that we wished wouldn't come out. My MIL is flat crazy (really, she saw Elvis snooping around her trailer once). I dread the day that we have to do something about her. DH feels the same way. Charlotte, you can always come here and vent. I would not let him smoke in my house. I'd find a place outside with a covering or a ventilated shop area or something. I couldn't and can't picture you being able to tolerate that in your house.
Got to go now.
