Morning Maniacs-

I'm doing real good this morning. When I first got up, I posted in the Open Discussion forum by accident ..........oops. My alarm went off for an entire half hour before I heard it....so I didn't get up as earlier as I would have liked to. I have to be at work at 8:00 am.

I did Amy Bento's Step Challenge first 3 combos only and repeated it. Workout was 53" (all I had time for) and I burned 473 calories. I don't know if I'll ever learn this DVD. I like combo 3 and I can pick most of it up but I can't get combo's 1 & 2 and most of the connecting steps. I'm always on the wrong foot. I may always have to do my own version of this DVD!

Randi - sorry to hear about your struggles. I posted over at the OD forum also. Know that we are all here for you and you are never alone. Any time you need to talk, please feel free to do it here or PM me. With my past history, I can totally understand the type of struggle you are facing. I often have unhealthy thoughts in that aspect because of my disease and could easily become extremely ill in that respect. It's hard for me to keep it in balance at times. Has your therapist suggested a support group or 12 Step-Progam?

Have great workouts ladies. I can get used to this part time work....much easier than the 40 hour weeks! Too bad it can't be reality!

Not sure what is going on. I missed something, but we are here for ya.

So yesterday I worked chest/back and just did ab work from butts/guts

Lat Pulldowns 70# 3 sets/8
Bench 75# bb 3 sets 6/8/6
Decline Flyes with 35# db's 3 sets/8
Pullovers with 45# db 3 sets/8
One Arm Rows with 40# db 3 sets/8
39 pushups

Today I will work my arms and maybe elliptical too. Not too busy today. Much more rested and relax since I am not working at the Greez anymore. lol

If no one is aware whats going on I posted somthing up on OD forum. I'm sorry it's hard to talk about this. I am going to get better i'm sure I just have to keep seeing my therapist and Dr.

Good morning. So unfortunately I had to take a rest day yesterday because I got called into work again. But that was a good thing beccause I needed the money.
I really am planning on the BBC FUllbody, you know the one I have been trying to do for 3 days!! I hope to be running with my cousind tomorrow and Sat morning also. I need some breakfast now though.

Lora- my afternoon was like that yesterday!

My workout this morning was 4Day Split Low Intensity step w/up and cardio, then Seasun's Bosu blast no w/up, after core of Bosu blast I went back and did core and calves of LIS. I used 20# dumbbells for calves and a 15# dumbbell on Core. I am going back to do some yoga in a little while.

I finally did it! BBC Fullbody! I liked it. Different not using any weights and getting a good burn. Wish there were more for biceps, but I am sure they got worked more then I think. Will do them tomorrow after my run anyway.

Hello Ladies!

This morning I didn't do a thing! I woke up at 4am with a migraine. First one in over a month (woo hoo!). I took Imitrex and I meant to take Relpax. Imitrex makes me sooooo tired. So I went back to sleep. Then when I got out of the shower I got these killer cramps. I had already taken FOUR ibuprofen. They finally kicked in and now I'm as good as gold. But I missed my workout. :( Another great 3 day stretch. x( So I guess I'm not taking any rest days this weekend.

Randi - I'm sorry to hear about what you have been going through. I'm praying for your recovery. You are such a sweetie. I'm glad that you are getting the help that you deserve. Don't give up on that! I apologize for so much talk about weight all the time. I had no idea. It's an unhealthy obsession I've gotten since this summer. I know that and I need to fix it. I look at Diane Sue and what great balance she has in her life with her exercise and her eating habits. She's such a great example. I'm glad that you are talking about this issue you are going through. I'm sure it's a great relief. You are very brave.

Char - Lovely avatar. I love your sweater. I love sweaters. :) We're going to the Macaroni Sin Palace Saturday - meeting MIL there. So you know I'll have some bread. We don't eat as much as we used to though.

Dallys - Any mean dogs this morning? It bothers DH that you're from the SLC area and not Dallys. Can you move please? :p

Lora - Great calorie burn!!! I hope you hear something on that job soon.

Meg - Keep those workouts comin'! At least one of us will. :)

Back to work. I came in about an hour late so my day is going a little faster today than yesterday. Good thing!

Suz- Only nice easy well behaved doggies today, FINALLY! Plus, I took tomorrow off for sanity sake. Tell your DH that I've been to Dallas. That should ease his mind. Or he could just call me SLC for his sanity.:p

Just finished my bicep work. I am so fried. I need to go back down in the basement and finish up with triceps..I am worn out. Heart rate gets up really high. Here it is......

BB Curls 75# 3 sets/8
Zottman Curls 30# db's 3 sets/8
Concentration Curls (tried 45's, but no can do...grabbed 40's and did 3 sets 8/8/6. Frustrates me I cannot get to 8 3x's, but I feel like I can't breathe.

My goal is to bring out triceps more now and shoulders to compliment the biceps which are a good size for my little ole' self.

Hey Char - Your birthday is the day after my DH's. He's going to be 37. And I'm 45! Yup, I'm a cradle robber. Pretty impressive, ey? FORTY was nothin' for me. But I can't believe only 5 more years until I'm 50. Not that I'm bothered by being 50, I just can't believe it. And you look more like you're turning 30, not 40, so no worries. CRAP - 75# barbell curls? Mamma Mia!!!

Bicep women-Dang! Oh, and since I won't be around on Sunday. Happy early Birthday to ya! 40 was easy for me too, but 41/42 were a bit tougher. Now at 44, I don't even hardly remember how old I am anymore. LOL!

Suz-You cradle robber you! And you were worried that I had the hots for a 17 yr. old Vampire! LOL! I bet you met your hubby when he was 17.;):p

Hi:)

You guys are too much, your workouts are rocking:) I don’t want to step on anyone toes, but, I pop in several times a day everyday just to read what you guys are up to. Anywho, I noticed my friend Debbie hasn’t been posting. I miss her just hope everything is okay with her. If you guys should speak to her, tell her Teddygirl said hello.

Toastythemosty: where the heck did you come up with a name like that, I like it, fit your personality :D Yes, I’m always curious about your workouts. I just checked out your pictures, and your biceps are slamming. Nice work! Oh and forty you look fab:)

And to everyone else keep up the excellent work ;)
 
Toasty - I got a part time job at Walgreen's in the cosmetics dept. They are supposed to try to work me into more hours, but I'm not particularly fond of it. I'd rather have a medical secretarial job....but oh well. I think I'm supposed to get my Yule order tomorrow.

Randi - Hang in there. I know how rough it can be at first....but one day at a time, it DOES get better. I know you probably wonder how the heck you will overcome this now, but don't overwhelm yourself by looking to far ahead.....just remember ...baby steps. I don't think anyone here will judge you if you talk about it here and again I stress how important it is for you to discuss your problem with others for support. Again, I hate to sound preachy....but you really can't hold all that inside of you. I'm glad you're seeing a therapist. Be gentle and kind with yourself. Have you ever thought about trying a yoga practice to help with depression/stress/anxiety...etc? It does wonders for me. If you get Fit TV, maybe you can try a practice of Namaste Yoga.

Diane Sue - I used my Holiday Bubble Bath Bar the other day from Lush and it smells really good.

Dallys - One time this creepy, icky, older guy who was the treasurer of the board for an organization I worked for was asking me why I waited so long to get married (I was 30). I told him it was because when I was 20 my husband was only 12 and his mom wouldn't let him marry me then. :p

Actually, I didn't meet him until I was 30. THANK GOODNESS I didn't marry my former cheatin' fiance!

Well I like the burn and I remember Cathe saying something about feeling "toasty" in one of her videos so I figured I would feel toastythemosty at all times when I workout...so there you be. lol. Thank you dear. I seen your pics too and you look fabulous as well, and your mighty tall if I remember. Friends with Lauramax?
