Hi,

Debbie: I know I have to cut the sugar. But what about the cardio? Right now I am doing your summer rotation which I know are is planned but should I replace a day with cardio or keep the rotation as is? I know weight training boosts the metabolism. I just want to see some results. Thanks for any suggestions.

Welcome Roselyn! I have the same issue with my middle area, but Debbie is right with the sugar. I think my biggest thing right now is carbs. Try eating tuna-ick like Char. LOL As far as cardio goes I have been doing at least 5/6 days a week for the past 3 weeks. I'm only doing that much right now because I'm not lifting like I was before this. I'm going to do this for another couple of weeks then I'm going to follow what Debbie is doing now, so my cardio will go down to 3 days and I'll prob do at least 40 mins or whatever I have time for. Hope that helps some.

Char - Are you eating Tuna ick every night? How do you do it? I love tuna fish, but I don't eat it as much as you are. Great workout!

I have a recipe for a pancake I thought I would share.

It is:

1 cup fat free cottage cheese

1 cup oatmeal

6 egg whites

2 packets of sugar substitute

1/4 tsp. cinnamon (I use a little more for a more cinnamony taste)

1/4 tsp vanilla

Blend ingredients together. I pour about a 1/4 cup of batter on a lightly greased griddle (with cooking spray). Cook until done. I make the whole batch and then freeze them. Sometimes I add blueberries to the batter.

I eat Tuna-ick when I am working in the evenings cuz that is all I have time for anyways. I think of it this way...you put gas in a car to run properly...tuna doesn't necessarily taste good to me, but makes me feel better and look better so I deal with it. At home, I will eat it for lunch on days I don't eat chicken. I always wash it down with yogurt or sugar free choc pudding. Sometimes I take a bite of tuna and then the pudding. hehe. Scary.
 
lol, That is a good idea. I should do that every other night or maybe just 3 days. I'm watching Terminator 2 right now and man is Linda Hamilton inspiring me with her pull-ups! Damn, why can't I get motivated and stay that way!

I seen that one and yeah, she is mighty fit in that movie. Heard her talk about getting fit for the movie. Said she was getting obsessed and worked out for hours...sounds like some of us here. LMAO!

Well I guess I am gonna see what is on the tube too..haven't watched anything in a long time.
 
All of this talk about eating. I love just about anything. Don't think of Tuna as ick at all LOL Lunch was chicken, and blueberry spinach salad. Dinner is another salad with mixed greens and veggies with turkey breast. Post workout was a protein shake. I also had yogurt and protein powder. I am eating late but will probably have another protein shake before I go to bed:)

Yummy that sounds so good what you ate, but I wonder why I can't make myself eat good like that? My will power is terrible, my eating isn't that bad here lately, but I still need to clean it up a bit more, so I can see my progress!
