Dallys, leaves did not get finished.

Got the w/o in I did supersets. Saving cardio for tonite..
My stamina stinks. I had to drop those weights. The high reps killed me...It was crash and burn..

Well, i guess winter is amongst us..

I am totally P'd at the dh . Got yelled at for taking the mulcher out w/ a flat that i did not notice. I ruined a tire. He kept calling and i know there are like 5 messages and i don't even want to hear them.So, i guess he can do the leaves or they will lay there.

Tonite is cardio.. Step or treadmill. Depends on my coordination tonite..

Good Morning Maniacs!!!

O.k., my son brings home a bunch of cupcakes from church and EGADS...I STILL have a big bowl of candy left. I will not be eating the cupcakes...they scare me. lol. Chocolate candy is gonna be a problem though. Tootsie rolls in particular.

My dd went trick or treating. She can get away with it as she can pass for 16 year old. I would need a mask, but I think body wise..I could pull it off. lol

Today is a leg workout day...elliptical or bike ride plus weights too which means for the next 3 days after today, I will be hobbling around again...gives me such delight! lol.

So ya'll like my new equipment??? I got a squat rack too and new bench as well.

Not having a good morning. Couldn't sleep last night and I have to work 4:30 to 10:30 pm tonight. JOY! I did Amy Bento's new step DVD and was so frustrated. It's as hard to pick up as her first one, if not harder and I was so mad. I was actually not liking her this morning. I only enjoyed one athletic combo and other than that one, I had to sort of do my own thing cuz I was lost. The music wasn't that great either. Then, 45" into my workout, I jumped on the Rebounder cuz I was lost and my foot was hurting....so I figured I'd jump on there and watch the coreography and my freakin' Rebounder broke!! Springs came off and it collapsed with me on it! Then my DH went into a rage cuz I asked him to fix it and he was getting ready for work! Not a good morning. Finally quit trying to fix the Rebounder and my watch read 1 hour and 25 minutes!! I did check my calorie count at 40 minutes into the workout and it was at 515. After the fiasco with the Rebounder, I did part of that combo I liked and then cooled down and did Dharma Yoga 20".

Diane Sue - If you're Amy's come today, give her a kick in the butt for me!! She irritates me!!!! I don't even want to look at her! Good luck with the workout. Hopefully, you will do better than me. Maybe, I'm just not doing good "mentally" so I wasn't into trying to learn?? I don't know........or maybe I'll never learn it just like her other DVD that I have to do my own version of cuz it's so confusing.
 
Char- I just looked at your pics. You are such a hotty! You look amazing. You know that pic of yo uin the black dress and you are laying on the floor, well I LOVE the shoes you are wearing! Just had to tell ya! THe new equipment is really cool too.

Anne- Have a good WO tonight. You have been so good, you must look incredible. I think you need to post more pics! LOL

I am doing BBC butt and legs today. My tris are very sore from yesterday! Feels good.

Morning Maniacs! Later today will probably be a bike ride. If not, who knows, some kind of weight workout in the basement. Been neglecting weights lately. I'm cooking some sweet potatoes for later and also soaking some black beans so I can cook them later today, also chopped up some salad. Gotta be prepared and need to wash the candy out of the system, although, I didn't have much of it.

Char-I don't see your equipment. Is it in the private folder? All I see is the pullup bar. I didn't buy toostie rolls for that very reason. In my mind (small as it is), it's kind of like toostie rolls don't count as food, so they have no calories. LOL! I've taken out all the snickers and baby ruths and put them in the freezer. All the other candy bars don't tempt me much. They are on a high shelve in the pantry. The unopened bag of candy is hidden way in the back of the pantry on the bottom. Out of sight-out of mind.:) I watched "Kitchen Nightmares" last night and it made me NEVER want to eat out again! The Resturant kitchens on that show so are sickening! Makes you wonder if any of them are clean.

Anne- Well, at least you tried to clean up the leaves. To bad about the tire.:( Dh will get over it. Great job on Supersets!

Meg- Enjoy BBC today! It's nice to be sore, isn't it?}(

Lora I like Bit-o-honeys too. To bad about the rebounder.:(
 
Good Morning, today I started my workout with 4Day Split LIS w/up and cardio two times, then I did HIS cardio. I did LIS core adding resistance and usig a 15# dumbbell. I will go back in a little bit and do more core work and some yoga. Well, I ate Candy last night and Cocoa crispy mashmallow treats. We had Candy left and I ate hersheys dark chocolate and chocolate almonds:9 Today is going to have to be a clean eating day.

Lora, I never learned the choreography in Amys first Step Challenge workout. It takes me awhile. I keep doing Cathe's hoping to get it down. Funny though. One day I may have it pretty well down and then the next I just don't have the concentration. I am wanting to do Kelly's again. I did it Monday. It has a fun factor even if I don't have it down yet.

Charlotte, you are so lucky with all the new equipment. I would have no problem with the cupcakes. I am not fond of cake just like the icing LOL

Anne, looks like your dh would have appreciated the fact that you were trying to help get the yardwork done.

Dallys, out of sight out of mind doesn't always work well for me. Even frozen thoze things are good.

Diane Sue - did you buy Amy's new step or pass on it? So - you can't learn her first one either? Did you try very hard? This new one has a Tutorial, but I hate messing with stuff like that.....no time. I guess I might have to bight the bullet and do the Tutorial. Guess it's there for a reason. LOL.

Yes, now my Rebounder and Bike are broke...........both of my low impact options!! Sucks.
 
Lora, I did order Amys new one. I was hoping it would be a little easier as I have no problem with Cardio Step Pump. I think I just never had a real desire to keep trying on the first one. The only part that I have used is the bonus power segment at the end. I never even look at those tutorials LOL. Most of the time I don't preview either unless I just happen to be using the treadmill.

I don't have a problem with cupcakes either. BTW, was watching a show last night on super morbidly obese people...was not pretty. Makes you want to only eat clean FOOORRREEVVEERRRR and EVVVVEEERRRR!!!! lol.

Well, each day is getting a little better in the workout world. :) This morning I did Cathe's new Bootcamp. What fun! Although I really needed a longer cardio session after the candy I ate last night (darn it!), I was suprised that my heart rate actually rose during the warm up. It was a fun workout. Some of the tricep work was difficult to do without pausing since I have the Bowflex SelecTech dumbells unfortunately. :( I really love them, but when you're doing a workout where you have to make fast changes, it can be problematic. Oh well. If that's the biggest problem I face today I would say I'm pretty lucky. I'm planning to do a CC tomorrow. I need the calorie burn. This sore throat is destined to stick with me. What the heck? I am a bit concerned that I might DIE on the elliptical tomorrow, but I'm going to give it my best anyway. So if you don't hear from me, you'll know I left you all happy.

Lora - So sorry about your rebounder. Maybe your DH can fix it tonight when he's not rushed for work. Please be careful with your foot.

Dallys - Out of sight, out of mind? HA! There's no such thing for me. I had to bring all of the candy back to work b/c I know myself all too well. I can't have it in my house. I won't eat it here at work though.

Storm - The dog house - good idea!

Char - I love your new equipment! You have quite the gym now. You'll look hotter than ever (as if it's possible for you to look any hotter than you already do!).

Diane Sue - So are you doing a rotation with the new Cathe's? How do you like them all so far? I can't wait to try them all out now.

Meg - Gotta love DOMS in the tris, ey? :)

Just did BBC butt and legs. I liked it. Even worked the calves. It was pretty good. I am sure I will feel it tomorrow! My abs are really sore too!

I finished up my workout with Seasun's Bosu blast abs and then I did Yoga Booty Ballet Yoga core and finished with Rainbeau's Dawn yoga bunus workout. I have got to get to the store and go pick up the grand children.

Suz, I have to stop the workouts quite a bit when I use heavier that 25# dumbbells to change up the weight plates on my dumbbells. I would think the select tech would be a little easier than that. I would really like to get a set of those. This is my second week of doing Cathe's new 4 day split series. Last week I did all of them and then on Saturday I did the upper circuit premix. This week I amde it into a 3 day split so I can do some other weight work tomorrow and Saturday. I doubled and tripled up those cardio workouts. To short for me and the step ones take some learning on the choreography. I am kind of challenged in that area. I really like them though and I think Cathe works it where you hit things pretty well in a short amount of time.

Great workouts everyone. All of this candy talk makes me have to brag that I had not 1 piece of candy yesterday and it's TTOTM, started a new job and was offered chocolate at work and had to watch someone eat it! Proud of myself.....although...I feel a breakdown coming!

My cats don't know what the heck is going on. Everything is A#@ backwards around here and they are looking confused. Okay ...since I whined so much about this job adjustment, let me go over the positives.

1) Nice being out from behind a desk typing and having a bit of physical activity in my work day
2) I enjoy selling beauty products cuz I know a LOT about them and actually sold a lady some mineral makeup for a Halloween gift and a guy asked for my suggestions and I sold him $75 worth of Neutrogena facial care, aftershave, etc.

Ummm....that's all I can think of right now...but I'll try to think of more positives....cuz my mediation reading today lectured me on change and finding the positives and growing...yada yada yada......yea right.

Diane Sue - yes, I have ordered Lush lately. I actually did a LE X-mas order a week or so ago when I got hired and it just arrived today and the other day I ordered some hair stuff. Yes, their hair stuff is very good provided you buy for the right hair type. I really like the H'suan Wen Hua pretreatment shampoo stuff and Marilyn, but I have dry, curly, processed hair so I won't tell you what else I use. If your hair frizzes though, the Cynthia Sylvia Stout shampoo is excellent and I think it smells good.....it has beer in it....and I never liked beer but I love the way it smells. Their styling products are new and I just ordered one but haven't rec'd it. I like the Rehab shampoo for my colour treated hair but I use the heavier conditioners (which aren't even heavy enough for me....and I don't even totally rinse them out). I use the Coolaulin and American Cream (both smell sooooo good and scent your hair and when you workout and sweat, you can smell it....and I love that). So...whenever I get my blasted day off, I'm gonna do up a nice Lushie bath and try my new hair pre-treatment and I bought that new Shower Jelly that's a Christmas LE. Can't remember the name right now.

ETA: 3 just got added to the list. My DH just came home from work screaming and yelling......so being here when he's gone is a positive!
 
Diane Sue - Need your opinion. Should I do an Amy premix Total Body hour one tomorrow or do as is and do a split for a week. I did Cathe's split the week before last and this week I did Total Body Weights on Monday and Total Body Weights on Wednesday so far. Thanks in advance. I hope I like Amy better tomorrow.
