Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for Thurs March 29

Morning Maniacs -

This morning I did Barry's Bootcamp Shoulders & Back and the Treadmill Cardio segment. This was the longest of the batch.....workout was 1 hour and 25 minutes and I burned 450 calories. I also did Baron Baptiste's Unlocking Athletic Power yoga.

Brooklyn was such a sweetie last night. Sure didn't take long for me to fall in love with the little precious thing.

I've got a job interview later this morning and I want to try and do the grocery shopping before then.......so gotta run.

Have great workouts. I'll be back later.

Hello Maniacs!

I ran 4-miles this morning on my treadmill. I'm going to do a back and bicep workout later.

I'm not going do much more running until I get new shoes...that will hopefully be this weekend.

So I got this top I just ordered and it is retro, fun and groovy and back has criss cross design. Size small cuz that is what I mostly wear, but I ain't got the boobs to fill it up in the front as much so it ain't working for me like I like so if anyone wants it, let me know. Morning!

This morning I did CC#6 on the elliptical. I CAN'T stop doing that one! I'm addicted!!! I swear that one's my favorite. :p No really, it is.

We've had 30mph winds since yesterday afternoon. Wind chill was minus 10 when I left for work this morning. Brrrr. It's been snowing all morning but seems to be stopping. What happened to spring? Oh yeah, this IS spring in Wyoming!

Today begins my 10 pounds in 10 weeks weight loss. I'll be doing cardio 6 days a week (3 days of intense cardio and 3 days of more steady state cardio for at least 60 minutes) and then 3 days of weights. I'm also cutting calories and ALL junk food. I've challenged some gals at work to join me. They've said they're in, but I'm not sure they'll do it. I'd like to be lighter for this cycling season.

Char - Did I see 25 miles on the bike the other day? You go girl! I wish we could ride together.

Lora - good luck on your interview! I'm pullin' for ya!

Great workouts everyone. Lots of work to do today. No migraine all week so far and you have NO IDEA how happy that makes me. I'm on a roll. Of course I haven't been at work all week until today, so is there a correlation. Hmmm... ;)

It is a very busy day here. I am off to get Mudd in a little bit. Not sure how this will work with the extra dog. I am supposed to keep Mudd calm for the next couple of days. Today I did Body Max 2 scrambled eggs, stopped at the str and did the M&F rotation quads, hamstrings and calves, then did BM2 stretch and Amy's str #1. I will give the particulars of my workout later I have to go get some things done:) BBL

Hey Maniacs! Mom called to go to lunch. How can I finish work, squeeze in a hr workout, and be at the resturant in 2 hrs? Dang! I'll have to do my workout tonight. You know I'm not good at night workouts. I'd skip lunch, but Mom only comes to town every so often.

Char- Maybe Anne and her new @@ can fill out that shirt. LOL! How long does it take you to ride 25 miles?

Suz- Are you sure 6 is your fav? :p I hope you are Migrane free for a long, long, time.:) We just had that storm you are getting. Snowed like 3 inches a on Tues. It's been chilly.

Well gotta go finish work and talk myself into not having any of that good Bread at Macaroni Grill. Have to mentally prepare.

Thanks Marietta. I sure think so. I get so tired of people at work telling me I don't need to lose weight - overweight people telling me this. TRUST me, I can easily stand to lose 10 pounds. I'm 5' 8" and I weigh 138 (can't believe I just shared that with the world!). Good grief! Actually my goal was 130 but when I weighed this morning I weighed 138. So I guess my new goal is 128. :)

Dallys - Now what is the point of going to the Macaroni Grill (or the Macaroni Sin Palace as Charlotte calls it) if you don't eat the bread? That's the whole reason for going, isn't it? Of course that WILL get in the way of my 10 pound weight loss. Good thing there isn't one within 50 miles of my house. :p

Just last weekend dh and I were trying to determine where to eat. Seen the Macaroni Sin Palace and remembered you from days ago eating there. I had to smile. We ended up eating at Chick A Fil which is fast food, but alittle more on the healthier side. It is just impossible to go out to eat in the city around 6 and expect to get seated right away...FORGET IT! Should have made reservations at Long Horn. Oh, well. And nothing wrong with going there either if that is your treat day/night..remember that. ;-)

Good for you! I will send you a pm tomorrow. I finished PLB. Started with 80 and worked my way down. Just forgot to post it earlier. Squats seem extremely easy going 80 and down. I could go higher, but not trying to get legs thicker. Tomorrow is bike ride and biceps/shoulders/triceps.
