Morning Maniacs -

This morning I did Ten Minute Trainer's Cardio & Core Cardio with the cardio belt and then I did Mitch Gaylord's High Calorie Melt with 2 & 4 lb med ball. I only did part of the ab workout. Total workout was 62" and I burned 578 calories.

I wanted to do Yoga...but I didn't hear my alarm go off....so ran out of time. If I get everything done around here....I might try to do some before work since it's my late day at work.

Dallys - not quite sure I like this 10" Trainer Cardio as much as you do. It wasn't that intense for me. I like to modify on the Rebounder sometimes also and the belt wasn't good for that. I'll need to play with these a bit. The Total Body 2 workout uses the bands in the door attachment. I don't feel like I get that sore from band workouts......unless I'm just not getting sore anymore again like before. When I first switched off of my WSFL program, I was getting sore with my weight workouts.....but it seems to have tapered off. I do think the set is WAY overpriced.

I hear Barry's Bootcamp has a few new videos coming out in the next couple of weeks............I hope they are advanced.
 
Good morning maniacs!

Schedule got a little screwed up last night, so I didn't start my WO till 8:30pm. It was late so I did ME, upper body only. I am doing BM2 cardio tonight, so I will tack on ME lower body as long as everything goes as planned. DOMS haven't set in yet, but I am sure they will later lol. My abs are still sore from Tuesday.

Teddy- I just finally woke up and realized that eating sh*t food wasn't gonna work! lol. Just have had a rough year, so bad habits were picked up quickly. Had a break thru this past weekend and realized enough was enough! SO just eating healthy, bout 5 times a day. Haven't even touched the bowl of hershey kisses in the office. Trying to get my WO's in when I can. Helps to have a supportive SO now too. He cooked hamburgs and hot dogs and mac and cheese for him and the kids last night, but grilled some flounder on the grill with califlour for me cuz I asked him to. Sweet guy! SO just keep plugging along...if I can do this, ANYONE can lol!

Ok, feel good today. Got up with no problem but I did go to bed an hour early. I guess that helped. I did Gym Style Back & Shoulders. I skipped the bicep work because I'm going to do that on Saturday with the standing part of GS Legs. My arms were quite fatigued by the time I was finished with the shoulder work so I didn't want to work biceps and do a half @ssed job on it. Plus I added extra sets to the shoulder work so that added time to this workout.

BACK

Reverse Grip Dumbbell Rows:
25's - 2 sets/8 reps; 1 set/12 reps
***I should have used 30's for this but my low back was really tight. I had a heck of time bending over this morning.

One Arm Rows:
25# - 2 sets/12 reps

T-Back Squeeze:
Silver band
***These burned big time.

Pullovers:
35# - 2 sets/8 reps
***The slow count on these really got me. My triceps were screaming.

Low Back Extensions on Bench

Low Back Rotation Tilts

SHOULDERS
2/2 count
Seated Overhead Dumbbell Press:
20's - 3 sets/10 reps
***These got me quick. The 2/2 count really makes a huge difference.

Standing Lateral Raise:
12's - 3 sets/10 reps
***Added a set onto these.

Standing Lateral Raise w/Band:
Used purple band
***This was a killer. I forgot how good band work is.

Front Raise w/Band:
Used purple band
***These burned.

Dumbbell Rear Flies:
15's - 3 sets/12 reps (different counts on these)
***Added a set.

Rear Delt Flies w/Band

That is all...
 
Morning,

I feel like a lazy cow…:eek:.

This morning DOMS everywhere from KPC, did me in big time. Plus I did that workout on 2 hours of sleep, I tell you., after Daniel father picked him up last night. I went straight to bed, I only woke up one time, that's a record for me.

I laid in bed couldn’t get up to save my life. I’m going to workout this evening. I think a total body workout like ME, PH or MIS not sure to early :eek: or maybe go for a nice long walk, who the heck knows.

Starting next month it’s going to be a cardio fest for me :D I need to get ready to go to North Carolina I tell you, my brothers and sister in laws, love to cook.

Lora, see you are trying the 10 minute trainers...keep up with the review/opinions, love your reviews!

Char-that stinks, but keep doing what your doing girl, great attitude.

Teddy- I work just south of Toledo, on the other side of the state from you. But I live just north of the MI line. You are pretty close to cleveland and another one in our midst who gets belted by the great lakes. My secretary just told me we have a new Donato's in town. So they must be all over now, see how much I get out?

I was so good yesterday, instead of going for Margarita's w/DH I said no and worked out!
I did Amy's ASC again, yes again, this time with the power ups, such fun this time. I'm still a total clutz with the ??funky feet or fancy feet in combo 1 but, it sure is easier now.

Today I will do ripped 1000 cuz it has some cardio in there.

Yesterday I ate:
egg beaters M1
cottage cheese M2
tuna w/ mustard and rye wasa crisp w apple and almond buter M3
M4 12 peanuts
m5 salmon 2oz on a salad with evoo and balsamic w/ black beans and spinach and 12 tortilla chips.

Total calories 1192, then add about 12 skittles in there. I'm trying to keep my calories low this week, I'm up at least 15 pounds from a year ago. I've been avoiding the scale since my last round of p90x, I won't even let the doctor's office tell me what it says.

Looking forward to starting Debbie's lower body rotation on Sunday. Time to work I guess, Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday.

Yesterday I added a banana to my banana protein pancake. I was so damn hungry and needed a bit more food. I figured even though the banana raised my carbs by quite a bit, it was better then the candy bar staring at me in the face. So that's what I did. And it was good!

Meals for today:

M1: ON whey protein shake w/strawberries (pre workout)
M2: ON whey protein shake w/strawberries & banana (post workout)
M3: Banana Nut Bread BSN w/ 1/2 c. oats & 1 tbsp. ground flaxseed
M4: Turkey patty; 2 tbsp. raw almonds; pickles
M5: Chicken salad w/Ranch yogurt dressing; Nectarine
M6: Parmesan Chicken; Sauteed veggies w/ 2 tsp. parm cheese
M7: 2 whole eggs, 2 egg whites; 1/2 c. LF Cottage Cheese

1780 calories
63 g. fat - 32%
188 g. protein - 42%
119 g. carbs - 27%

Linda - I have my pm's set up so that only certain people can pm me. That's what I use it for. Other then that, I'm not so sure what the point is. LOL! You did some nice workouts. I'm sorry to hear you aren't feeling well again. You worry me, girl.
 
Debbie - You had some really nice workouts yourself. I saw you did GS today. It's funny to see you doing a Cathe w/o, you haven't done them in so long! So where you headed next with your rotations? I am still doing the TT, but this is the end of phase one so next week I get to change up the exercises. I can't wait!! I am bored after only four weeks! Anyway, thanks for worrying, I have no idea what is going on with me! This cold/virus hit me out of the blue. Usually my kids get get them first then share them, this one I got all by myself!!:confused:
 
Finished my arm workout. I am definitely weaker in the right arm since I screwed up my neck area. I just had really strained it bad all thru shoulder, trap and upper back. There are some moves I can do with the same amount, but different range of motion on others is not as good. Anyhow, here is what I did:


I started with tricep work first.

Tricep Extension off smith machine (standing) 60# 3/10
Skull Crushers 40# 3/8
Lying Tricep Ext 15# db's 3/10

Preacher Curls 60# 3/10
Dumbbell Curls 35# db's 3/10 (this move I am the same with, but just feel more tired today then usual)
Concentrated Curls off medicine ball with 15# db 3/10. (I could have gone to 20#, but don't want to re strain my neck again..left arm could have gone to 25# at least as it is much stronger)

My food intake is below cal range, but I was busy

Meal 1: Kelloggs Protein Plus Cereal, watermelon

Meal 2: Protein Bar

Meal 3: 2 yogurts mixed with protein powder, 2 eggs (I ran out as I usually eat 3), sweet potatoe, salad

Meal 4: Protein Shake

Meal 5: Meat and veggie
 
Thursday night was the bis, tris, and shoulders from 4DS. You know, I'm always really impressed with what Cathe lifts in her dvds, but noticing what some of you lift, I'm thinking, Cathe, when working out and not peforming, can probably lift quite a bit heavier than she does in the videos, yes? I mean, I know instructors take it down a notch when teaching so they can talk and teach, but I'm betting Cathe can really do way more than in the vids....the woman is a machine and is not of this earth!

ETA did 20 min of yoga in the earlier part of the day
