Morning Maniacs -

This morning I did Spinervals Lean and Mean interval workout. Workout was 60" long and I burned 400 calories. I also did Perfect in 10 Yoga - Relax and Let Go segment 10".

I don't know what I should do about a rotation due to my foot. I was planning on starting back on my Jillian book circuit next week...but they have cardio moves in the them. Afterburn doesn't have cardio moves in the weighted circuits......but I don't like leaving my Jillian circuits left unfinished. Ugh....what's a girl to do? I also don't really want to start Afterburn only being able to use one piece of cardio equipment, as the program suggests for each HIIT session, you use a different piece of cardio equipment.

I've got to eat breakfast and get ready to go to the grocery store.

Suz - I just read your post about inhalers from last night. I feel for you.......and it really makes me wonder if they contribute to my migraines. I can't imagine having to test a ton of stuff to find something to work though. It sounds time consuming and frustrating. I hope your doctor is good and can get something worked out for you....cuz I agree that controlling your asthma is important. I'm having a hard time getting the stuff the doctor told me about my foot to sink into my thick skull, especially since I never even had a cast/bootie the last time I had a stress fracture and I remember doing Cathe step aerobics a few weeks after the fracture occurred. I did modify a lot on the Rebounder....but still! I can't decide what I should do as far as a rotation due to this foot! (and I certainly don't want to have a bone taken from my hip and put into my foot either!)

Tosty - Congrats on the job offer promotion. I wish I could just get 1 single job offer! I'm way too excited waiting for the update. I love the Halloween Limiteds.
 
Good Morning, I am still battling a headache:( Not sure what caused it. Anyway yesterday I finished off with Tracey's Core conditioning and Yoga Shatki warrior4, lunge and supine poses. This morning I started with w/up and cardio only of High Step Tr. Adv. and then did Sharon Twombly's All Body Cardio skipping the warm up and abs. I will drop off my granddaughters and come back and do some other strength training and yoga/stretching. BBL

This morning was cardio and I don't know what the heck is going on but I could not get my HR up this morning. I did all of Cardio Coach #3 (35 min.) and with the last challenge I got my HR into the upper 140's. That is just getting into my aerobic zone. I thought my HRM might have been reading wrong but I wasn't breathing hard and I could tell my HR was not high. With each rest interval my HR dropped to my rest zone which is unusual.

I added on challenge #1 from the Press Play workout which is ten 1 minute alternating intervals of hill climbs and sprints with a 30 second rest between each interval. Finally by the time I got to around interval #6 my HR got up past 151. I never did hit my zone 4 today, though. Weird. Within 30 seconds of ending this challenge my HR was done to under 110 bpm. By the time the 5 minutes was up for the cool down I was in the low 90's.

65# - 6/6 reps
60# - 8 reps
55# - 10 reps


Alternate Incline Dumbbell Curls:

20's - 10 reps
25's - 8/8 reps !!!
20's - 10 reps
Sorry..Debbie, but these were NOT easy!!!



Supination Curls:
40's - 4 reps
35's - 6 reps
40's - 4 reps


Wrists
Rollups:
12# - 10 times
Yeah, these ummmm burned! lol

Today I forget what I am doing. Debbie will remind me and I will do it tonight when I get home from workie poo.

I haven't been offered the position yet, but being prepared for it. I am not sure I want it right now as I am not sure what changes will be made when FIL gets worse. Right now, he looks very bad. I believe a nursing home is better suited for all his needs and my neighbor works for medicare so she is gonna help us thru this. They are a real blessing to have as neighbors. When everything calms down, then I will see what I want to do. I can still buy a few perfumes though.

Hey Maniacs! I'm going to try to kill 2 birds with one stone this morning. I'm going to listen to a CC while I take Carma for her walk. Not sure how it will go, as I get distracted outside and and forget what coach is saying. Hope I can get a good workout with just walking. I always want to "bust a move' and start running and then my knees are mean to me for days. I'll report back later.

Hi guys.

My shoulders are quite sore today. Traps too. Must have been a decent WO yesterday. I have been doing some real cleaning today. And I have to work tonight. Not sure yet what I will do inbetween.

Lora- take it easy on that foot. Have you previewed Afterburn WO's? I hope you heal soon so you can start it.

Deb-That's weird about your HR today.

Char- good WO. HOpe work is going well.

Dallys - I don't know how anyone could do a CC outside. I have a friend who does it outside and I just don't get it. Black Sabbath is a much better choice! :p
 
This morning I did a steady state spin on the bike for 1 hour. Tomorrow morning before work (well, before my neurologist appt. at 9:15 - so I have longer to ride) we are doing a 2 hour couples' ride with our friends who are both VERY fast! He is leaving for Iraq next week - will be working at the US Embassy. Anyway, I knew it would be a hard ride so I wanted to rest my legs some.

Lora - Not to mention it's expensive if the docs don't have samples available. I called my insurance co. & they have a "preferred drug list" that I'm going to pick up today and take with me to my appt. tomorrow. Then I'll see what non-steroidal inhalers I can find that are on that list and go from there. I read that they are not as effective, but if they don't cause headaches then I don't care! I'll just take more vitamin c. :)

Diane Sue - I'm sorry you still have a headache. It must be the time for headaches. Mine's sticking around too, but I still think it's from that inhaler. I wonder what caused yours. You do everything right - eat clean, exercise. You shouldn't get them. It's not fair. But you still get those workouts in! Great job!!!

Debbie - Maybe you're just getting super conditioned. :)

Char - Now you need to start adding in the bolds on your posts.

Dallys - My birds do not appreciate your comment about killing their cousins with stones! :p

Meg - Sounds like you're right back on track with your workouts. You're doing a FABULOUS job! What did you miss - like 1 or 2 days and you thought you lost your mojo? :) You go girl!

Got my goals done yesterday. Now we all have to rewrite our job descriptions. Sheeesh! If it's not one thing...AND I have to work Saturday morning to plan my spring semester. But guess who will be here at the college in my building? [font color=red size=+2]TY PENNINGTON!!![/font] They're doing an Extreme Makeover Home Edition house here and they finish it tomorrow.

Suz- Oh sorry! These were fake birds and fake stones.;) LOL! My daughter took her cockatiel for the summer and now he's back with me again. He LOOOOVVVES me... to the irratating point! He works with me and gets really mad if he hears the blowdyer and he wasn't invited for the party. He sits on my shoulder and flaps his wings feeling the air hit him just right. He loves my earrings and attacks my ear if I'm not wearing any. He starts singing REALLY loud when I'm talking to someone on the phone, you know, it's his time, not theirs. He's been showing off like a mad bird since he's been home. Of course he's also making his huge mess of seeds all over the floor. Funny, last year, right down the street from where my DD lives, [font color=red size=+2]TY PENNINGTON[/font] was doing a home makeover! See, I have connection... Tell him Hi!

Hey Maniacs! Just got back from a late lunch. Ordered all healthy stuff and as much as I wanted the fries, I got a side of fruit instead. They gave me a tinie tiny little dish(like what you get when ordering your dressing on the side)of fruit. I'd say it was less than 1/4 cup. It was almost comical. If I'd ordered the fries, they would have over filled the plate. It's all screwed up I tell ya.

Lisa- MIS is probably Cathes toughest cardio. Great job on surviving.}(

I am still battling this headache. I came home from taking the girls to school and sat around for awhile before I went and did some weight work. I did Pyramid Lower Calves two times with 25#(been missing calves lately) then the stability ball work wearing 5# ankle weights, then I did Body Max 2 upper body, and Stretch Max 3. I would have done more but was just to tired. Then went and picked up pet supplies and children. I am off to bed early tonight.

Lora, I am sorry the doctor visit wasn't what you hoped it would be. Take care of that foot. You don't want surgury.

Dallys, I have done that before and got a tiny serving for my substitution. Restaurants tend to try to fill people up on french fries and bread.
