Today I was short on time so I did Cross Train Low Impact Tabata 2 times and Chalean Extreme Burn Circuit 2, 62 minutes
 
I tried checking in this morning but the site was down. What is going on with the site, anyone know?

This morning I did Xtrain Bi's and Tri's. Love that one.

Well, no workout for me today. I knew this would happen once I started back on my early morning workouts. I was just so tired I fell asleep on the couch after I got up. Makes me so mad. :mad: Oh well, I guess tomorrow is another day...
 
Hi everyone!

Today I did Cardio Coach #3 and did most of the workout. My cool-down was the last 4 minutes of the steady state so I cut the workout by about 5 minutes. Did well with it.

Workout was 36 minutes total, ran 2 miles and burned about 315 calories.

This morning I did X Train Hard Strikes Timesaver no drills, Chalean Extreme Burn Circuit #3, and finished with Kelly Coffey Home Gym Intervals waistline. Total time was 79 minutes and calories burned 420.

Debbie, you probably just needed the rest. If I laid back down I wouldn't get anything in. It looks like you did good today :) I think that Cathe's were doing some sort of upgrade. I am having troubles with Yahoo today. Facebook keeps changing things. It sort of annoys me.

Roselyn, are you doing an Insanity rotation or just doing what you feel like. I sometimes enjoy going off a rotation for awhile.
 
Today I did Z Cut abs workout #2 with warm up and stretch and finished with Chalean Extreme Recharge.
 
Today I did Gym Style Chest & Triceps. Had a great workout, I love this one. I think Cathe and crew look the most ripped in this series. They all look so awesome!

This is what I did:

CHEST
Drop Set Push-Ups: I did all but the 12 reps. I rested there and then did the rest
Dumbbell Press: 30's - 3 sets/12 reps (last set I only hit 9 reps)
Dumbbell Flies: 20's - 3 sets/12 reps
Dumbbell Incline Press: 20's - 2 sets/12 reps
Dumbbell Incline Flies: 20's - 2 sets/12 reps

TRICEPS
Close Grip Barbell Bench Press: 45# - 2 sets/10 reps w/bonus
Dips: Skipped
Dumbbell Lying Extensions: 12's - 2 sets/8 slow reps
Seated Overhead Press: 20#- 2 sets/12 reps
Cross-Body Extension: 10# - 2 sets/12 reps
Cross-Body Extension w/Band: Skipped
Kickbacks: 8# - Skipped
Kickbacks w/Band: Skipped

Skipped the last couple due to time. Plus my triceps were screaming at me. This is one tough workout.

Today's workout was Turbo Fire Hiit Low 20, 21 minutes (this was on one of the Piyo dvds as a bonus), Chalean Extreme Push Circuit 1, 33 minutes, Piyo Core 31 minutes. Total workout time was 84 minutes.
We took Isaac out to so he could get an electric guitar that he had been saving for. He has another guitar that is really nice but he was wanting to try an electric guitar. We also went to the music store. I have my Mom's piano now. I picked up stuff for guitar and piano.
I switched to Chalean's Push Circuit phase 2 because Burn Circuit was making my knee hurt. I got through 2 weeks of it and may go back later and finish it or intersperse it through the rest. I like the push circuit because it is heavier and 8 rep sets. Also doesn't combine lower and upper moves into one exercise. I was pleasantly surprised when I realized that Turbo Fire Hiit Low was something different from the other Turbo FIre set.
 
Today I did Cardio Coach #6 with Candace and did Challenges 1, 2 and 4. Last week I ran 2 miles with each workout, this week I wanted to increase it by .5 miles. I actually make almost 3 miles today - 2.8 to be exact. Happy with that. Still not running as fast as I usually do because I'm still worried about the knee, but it felt pretty good. It only hurts now when I bend it, which is weird.

Workout was a total of 46 minutes, ran 2.8 miles and burned about 384 calories.

Diane Sue - I play guitar. Not electric, I have an accoustic one and I play at my church. I love it, we start again in October and I can't wait!!! I wish I could play the piano. Do you play?

Today's workout was Cathe;s Intensity step and low hiit mix and Chalean Extreme Dynamic Flow Yoga. I was so happy when I found the Buffalo Guys Hot Dogs and also some sauerkraut with roasted jalapeno and all of the probiotics in ther refrigerated section of Natural Grocers. The sauerkraut is like the one I made from Practical Paleo and also has some carrots in it. I had this combo for breakfast this morning.

Debbie, I had 2 years of piano lessons and 1 1/2 years of Guitar when I was a teenager. We had a piano for awhile but sold it. My parents wanted me to have their piano. It has a lot of meaning for me. My mother would be playing and singing quite often when I came home from school and I had lessons on this one. It will be fun to practice again. That is great that you play for your church.:)
 
Today I did a mix of things and had a great workout. I did the Bicep work from Gym Style Back, Shoulers and Bi's and then I did the Barre part of Xtrain Legs. Then I finished up with Core #1 from XTrain. It was fun!

BICEPS:
Barbell Curls – 35# - 2 sets/10 reps
Dumbbell Partial Reps - 8's
1st set Concentration Curls - 12#
2nd set Concentration Curls - 15#
Curl Up/Reverse Downs – 12's - 10 reps
Hammer Curls - 12's
Wrist Curls – 5's - 2 sets

Diane Sue - I'm glad you have the piano, that is really great and what nice memories for you. You should take up playing again! :)
 
Today I switched up and did Kelly Coffey Muscle Up workout #1 which is back, chest, and shoulders with some core wor 31 minutes. I followed this with Chalean Piyo Define Upper body. Piyo Upper was a lot of core work and side balance moves along with push ups and triceps push ups and was only 19 minutes. The insert says 35 minutes. My knee that had the surgery was hurting a lot yesterday and during the night so I wanted something that was just upper and still 8 rep sets.
It took me awhile to get started on a workout this morning. I was up at 3:15 this morning with clogged up sinuses and a terrible headache. I usually get up at 5 am but turned the alarm off and went back to bed for an hour till everyone else in the house started waking for school and work.

Debbie, you should have heard the crazy noise my grandchildren and I were making when I bought the music home. I was trying out some songs on the piano trying to pick up on some of the music, Isaac (14)was sort of following on the guitar, and my granddaughter 6 came in with her little flute. I am sure it was quite laughable :p It will be fun going back to learning music again. I bought stuff with some newer stuff as well as Beatles since my grandson has been working on some of that. I bought stuff that was vocal, guitar, and piano so we could both use it. He has two guitars now and a keyboard My piano is in his room right now till we get moved.

Today I did Gym Style Back & Shoulders and had a pretty good workout. My shoulders burned like crazy this morning, not sure why?

Reverse Grip Dumbbell Row – 20's - 2 sets/8 reps; 20's - 1 set/12 reps
One Arm Row – 25# - 2 sets/12 reps
T-Back Squeeze w/Band - Used Tubing but didn't do all the millions of reps Cathe does
Pullovers – 25# - 2 sets/8 reps
Low Back Extensions on Step - Skipped
Low Back Rotation Tilts - Skipped

SHOULDERS:
Seated Overhead Press – 10's - 3 sets/10 reps
Standing Lateral Raises – 8's - 2 sets/10 reps
Standing Lateral Raises w/Band - Tubing
Front Raises w/Band - Tubing
Dumbbell Rear Flies – 8's - 2 sets
Rear Delt Flies w/Band - Tubing

Today I did Low Impact Series Cardio Supersets but had to stop at the disc jacks because my knee was hurting.35 minutes. I then did Chalean Extreme Ab Burner 11 minutes ,and finished with Kelly Coffey Muscle Up biceps, triceps and abs 27 minutes.
Not sure what is up with the knee. The pain is on the opposite side this time. I made a smoothie from the 30 day green smoothie challenge that was supposed to be helpful with joint pain and inflammation.
 
Yesterday was total body weights and today was pure cardio and abs, going to be missing for a couple of days going to the Lake of the Ozarks for the weekend and wouldn't you know the hottest days in this part all summer, 99+ oh well gonna stay in a pool:)
