Good Morning Maniacs!

Today has been great so far. I went out for a leisurely 50 min. roller blade since my glutes are still sore from Thursday morning's workout. As I was leaving my house to train a client at the gym, my husband ran outside to get me. My client's mother isn't doing so well so he has to fly to the States tomorrow to be by her side. Very sad. I went back into the house and did what I was going to do at the gym with some modifications:

Overhead Shoulder Press x 5: 16/9/10/9/10
ss w/
1 leg calf raise with weight x 5: 25/25/30/30/30

1 arm lateral raise x 4: 9/9/8/8
ss w/
2 leg calf raise x 4: 50/50/50/50

Rear flyes x 4: 10/10/10/10
ss w/
Ab wheel roll outs x 4: 15/15/15/15

Theraband lateral raise x 3: 15/15/15
ss w/
Theraband rear fly x 3: 12/12/12

Swiss ball tuck ins x 3: 15/15/15
ss w/
Swiss ball pike ins x 3: 12/12/12

Inverted push ups (for shoulders) x 3: 15/15/15

I'm headed to the gym now to train a client.

I hope everyone has a great workout!!

Laura

Morning Maniacs -

This morning I overslept again..........whoa....till 5:30 am. Don't know what that's all about. I should feel like Super Woman, but instead I feel lethargic!

I did WSFL cardio - 7 intervals of 60/120 which I did closer to 60/60. Then I put my 10# weight vest on for part of the 20 min segment. I used the Ellipitical/TM/Bike and Heavy Bag. Workout was 57" and I burned 505 calories.

I also did Spinervals Yoga for Runners 22". Wish I would have had time for more yoga....but ran out of time. We're going to an early movie, Hancock.

Have great workouts everyone.

Good Morning, today is my rest day. I really need it. I have some doms in my upper back and shoulders from this weeks workouts. I even feel a little in my arms.

Laura, nice workout:)

Lora, I want to see Hancock. I will be interested to see what you think of it.

Hi Diane,

I'm impressed with the day off. Well done!!! I have a really tough time trying to take a day off and I'm in AWE of you.

You are awesome and I LOVE reading your work outs. I look forward to reading your workouts this week--even if they are days off or hard days with workouts.

My best,

Laura

Good Afternoon Maniacs!!!

Went on elliptical after church. Did some extra cardio moves for abs after I was done..twisting side to side with 12# medicine ball and then did BM2 to complete it.

Elliptical work:

30 mins
Traveled 3.5 mi.
Burned 265 cals
Level 4

I figure I probably burned about 100 more cals with the extra cardio/ab work. I am going to chiropractor this week. The discomfort is not going away and I am not letting it interfere with my workouts..caring on as if nothing is wrong because I am stubborn like that. I figure a few cracks should work it out good, like before.

Toasty -let us know how the chiropractor does for you. Did you buy Mead Moon? It's soooooo lovely....specially if you like honeyish scents. I adore it.

Diane Sue - Hancock was surprisingly good. The critics really dogged it and I liked it for the exact reasons they said it stunk. I don't want to say too much cuz I don't want to give it away. I went not expecting anything though.....so maybe it wasn't as good as I thought??? My DH felt the same as me about it. He liked it for the same reasons, etc.

I guess I'll take a look at WSFL for tomorrow and continue on for a few more days. Still hoping the scale will move. For my treat tonight, I cold Coldstone Frozen yogurt ...only 25 calories per serving, but I had it mixed with strawberries, a bit of hot fudge and a smidge of pecans. Still shouldn't be too fattening.

We had a nice day. Went to lunch at the new Rib Crib they just opened, with our dd and 3 of the grandchilden after church. I had a large baked potato with brisket. Didn't eat to well today.

Lora, the critics don't seem have much of a sense of humor. When I told dh that the critic in our paper didn't seem to care for it, he said it must be good then LOL Cold Stone sounds yummy.

Charlotte, I hope the chiropractor can help you so you can get back into your workouts.

Laura, thanks:D I try to take 1 day off every week. I used to feel the same way about taking a day off. Took a while to make myself adjust to it. I am adjusting my workouts some this next week(to many days of deadlifts) but liked that I was getting some doms with it. I don't get muscle soreness much anymore.
