I really liked StretchX. Makes me feel good. Right now, I like it better than YogaX. I can see subbing YogaX with something else later. Wish I was riding today, but must stick to my plan of resting. I have lots I need to get done around the house. Next week I hope to throw in some bike riding on the trainer (ala Cardio Coach). I will hate to lose my cardio capacities on the bike, but I know I can get it back pretty easily, well maybe not easy, but I'll get there. Enjoy your bike ride. Wish we could see 60 degrees. It's windy outside and cold right now.

Just got back from The Holiday (movie) and then had salad at Chilis. The movie was long but it was really good. It's a bit of a "chick flick", but my DH liked it also. Very touching!

I applied for that job at Macy's online but I couldn't attach my resume cuz it's the wrong format for the upload. My resume doesn't have any retail/sales experience on it anyway....it only goes back to 1987. I have no clue if they'll even consider me....but I did the footwork. Makeup has always been a passion of mine. I guess I could get used to any schedule, right? I didn't tell my Mom yet.....cuz she'll go off.

I also filled out an application for the University here in town. They are Civil Service jobs (mostly) and the test is only given once a yeear. The said that every once in a while they have a "non-tested" Civil Service job that gets posted, so those are the ones I'll look for. They state they post new jobs every Monday on the website.

What Cathe DVDs have lying leg work on them and about how long is the segment? I know there's Pyramid Legs and it's 13 mins.. Does anyone know how long the lying leg work is in Hardcore or Glutes and Legs? I need to plan my leg workout for tomorrow.
 
Lora, the floor work on Legs & Glutes is 11 minutes, Gym Style legs floorwork is 24 minutes, Push & Pull inner and outer thighs is 4 min 33 seconds I like to set this and repeat it 3 times using the workout blender, the floorwork on Pure Strength Legs is 19 minutes. I really liked Amy's All Pump Extreme. I am trying to go through the premixes and record the times. It is confusing because the lower nrg had the core on it and upper nrg has the core on it which makes them longer. The times that are given are correct if you eliminate the core work. I did ask on Amy's site and she said she wanted to get her notes out and would get back to me on it. I would like to know exactly what is on each workout.

Dallys, I print out my workout sheets and keep them in a binder.

Suz, I got my weighted gloves at Target they are Sportline and the palm is open the weights are on the back of the hand. I really like them.

Got my workout in. My HRM didn't start until after the warm up. It clocked in at 54 min. but I know it was over an hour as the whole workout is 59 min. and I added in Pullups. Said I burned 209 calories. LOL! I think I'll bag the HRM or I'll never feel like I did anything worthwhile. Cuz, I feel like I got in a great workout.

the planks in this one kill me. I have to take quick child pose breaks in between leg lifts.:(

Suz and Jeanette. I have the beachbody weighted gloves. They seem good to me. I liked them better than what I saw at a sporting goods store. I have kind of big hands and long fingers and they fit snug, but still comfortable. If you have small hands they should fit nice and roomy. They weight is on the palm of the hand and they weigh 1 lb.

Diane Sue- On your Excel sheet for Power Circuit you have extra squats and lunges on there. Do you just add these into your workout?
I liked it by the way. Thank you. Also, did you take your workouts off of your site? I couldn't find them.

Toasty - Have you ever tried BPAL's Schwarzer Mond from the Black Moon set? I think you'd really like it. I wish Beth would update the site with the Freak Show from the Carnivale already....as NONE of my stuff is selling on e-bay. After the update, hopefully, I'll start doing better.
 
OK, i just got back from getting supplies and the mall.
I am officially not shopping anymore. I found nothing. MAcy's stinks...
You have to go to each manufacturer to look. I was looking for a coat. They have no coat section. You have to roam the whole dam store.I give up.... My coat is huge on me since i lost weight. I will live..till after x-mas.....
Oh , then the mall. Well these girls holding their boyfriends hands just mosying. It is like get a room . Grab his you know and get moving...
The mall was nuts......You could not walk through... I left..
Cards and money... I done.
Best buy had no where to park.I quit...

Well need to sniff some hair spray... Going to make pierogees now...
I am done venting....
Internet shopping is the way to go....

Lora - go for it. If nothing else you can do it while you're looking for something else. They need the help this time of year anyway. I was a licensed esthetician in LA and while in grad school I worked as a makeup artist and I had an agent and she would get me jobs with various cosmetic companies and I would get to go to the nice department stores and do makeovers when the various companies were having promotions. The idea was to help the sales people, but I didn't do sales. I enjoyed it. I especially loved the stores this time of year. I think you are very "influential" :) and would be very persuasive when helping people decide to spend money.

What the heck are peiroggies???

I have turkey meatloaf in the oven from the EFL cookbook. I love how it says to cook until no longer pink in the middle. Okey dokey, I'll be sure to use my x-ray vision for that one.

Jeanette - Eating yesterday was great until...Macaroni SIN PALACE!!! I still haven't done Stretch X. Trying to get ready for those little ones to do their Christmas pics in about 45 minutes. I bought some cute decorations. I wonder if Hot Tub X will have the same effect. :)

Diane Sue - thanks for the info on the gloves. I was just at Target today. Ah, another excuse to go there.

Dallys - my HR monitor does that sometimes to. I wonder why.

Storm - sorry about your shopping experience. Maybe when Lora gets a job there she can make some changes!

Great workouts everyone! I don't have time to single people out but I read all the threads and you all did well today!

Lora - I say go for it. Try the Macy's job, I bet you'd be good at it.

It is a dough stuffed with filling. I did potatoe and cheese . Then you boil them an put butter and onions on them.
they are fattening. Definetly hunky cookin. I make them once a year for x-mas at my parents.

Dallys, want to make it good. Try making it like this.
MAke a turkey meatloaf with onion soup and normal.When it is almost done drain the juice and mix up some fat free cr. of mush soup and pour it on and finish baking it.It is awesome...
Tip, cut it in 1/2 to check it. LOL...

Hello everybody. Sorry to have been self absorbed and vague the last two days. Been busy here, and I must be in the throws of major PMS since I am not quite fit to be among other humans. Beyond miserable.
Anyway, my tree is up and I will post a pic of it on teh pic trail later.
I think I am going to rest. Altough I might change my mind and do some legs in a few. I also have a cold and am not feeling the greatest.

Char- I bet that walk was really nice today. I miss being outside more, just to cold here now. Had to blanket the horses since it is getting so cold at night.

Deb- you are INSANE woman! In a good way of course! That was some amazing poundage! Great job.

Anne- My Dh LOVES perogies! I dont' eat them often but I like to dip them in salsa when I do. We were at the mall tonight and I agree!

Lora- GO FOR IT! I thinks working afternoons/evenings would be perfect for you. Then you wouldn't feel rushed with your WO's and you can sleep later. I just agree with everyone else. Good luck.

Netta- good for you taking a rest and stretching. I always have to talk myself into resting, or atleast convince my self not to feel bad for it.

DS- good luck with your home. That must be a bit annoying have to take the pups everytime, but hopefully your house will sell quickly.

Dallys- good for you picking a rotation! Hope your DVD's find their way home soon!

SUz- turkey meatloaf sounds delish! Hope it comes out good.

Amber- hope the stretching made you feel better too!

Hot tea sounds really nice. I should get some now, but need to get to bed and I don't want to be awake for a while.

Good for you for getting your tree up. I should have done that today and didn't. Did get some other stuff done. DH is off tomorrow but I think he already has a list of things to do. It's a pretty hefty tree so may take 2 people anyway.

I hope the cold leaves soon and doesn't affect your workouts much.
