Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for October

Thought I'd just start our October thread and just say hi! Still resting and feeling pretty good. I'm enjoying the time off. Still not quite looking forward to starting again. :( I hope you two are having great workouts!

Today's workout was STS Total Body Upper only with the warm up, 31 minutes, Ab Circuits stability ball, 20 minutes, Pedal Power Timesaver 1, 39 minutes, 11 miles, and Tai Cheng Week 5, day 3, 35 minutes. Total calories 644. I know it was a long workout but, the next couple of mornings I have things to go do so, will most likely shorten the workouts. I enjoyed the spin bike rider outside on the patio this morning. The weather was beautiful.

Debbie, I am glad that you are enjoying your rest. I am always anxious to get back to the workouts myself. Unfortunately when something comes up that I have to stop for I am not good about waiting.

Yesterday was All out impact and today bis, tris and shoulders, I don't think I am replying right to this new format.

Roselyn, just experimenting here to see how the answer to this post comes out. Right now I see my last post as a (quote) and your last check in post. I see we can reply in a specific person's post or go down a bit further and post as a new post. This is a bit confusing and I always had my forums start at the last post. This will mean a lot of scrolling down at the end of the month from what I see.

Today I did Cross Fire Triple Tabata repeating the low impact tabata segment and doing the bonus core, 42 minutes, followed by T25 Gamma RIP'D Up, 29 minutes, and then finishing with Tai Cheng week 6 Day 1 and I also went through the Tai Cheng Body Alignment for better living. This was pretty good. I have found these great for helping with posture and alignment as well as flexibility.

Hi everyone! I have decided to take one more week off. I'm just not ready to start back, it's been so great sleeping a little longer and not worrying about it. My left knee is feeling really good but my right knee and elbow is still aching a bit. I hope it goes away. I'm afraid to start up again and just bring it all back, so hopefully one more week will be good.

Hope you guys are kicking butt with your workouts!

Today I did STS Meso Cycle 2 week 1 Chest Shoulders and Triceps and Tai Cheng Week 6 Day 2. My knee was kind of achey last night after doing triple tabata from Cross Fire so I decided against cardio or legs today. It felt better this morning but I think it needs some recovery.

Debbie, it is nice to sleep in a bit longer :) I am sure what you are doing is good for you.

Today I did STS disc 14 legs, Rock Out Knockout Timesaver #4, (Kickbox with Gloves and Combos), Body Beast Abs, and finished with Tai Cheng week 6 day 3.

Today's workout was X Train Ride, 56 minutes, Ab Circuits Med Ball abs no partner, 10 minutes, and Tai Cheng week 6 day 4 35 minutes. Total calories burned was around 591. I checked my heart rate with my new cell phone and it matched what the heart rate monitor says. Still the heartrate monitor gives me lousy calorie burns.

Today I did STS disc 15, Back and Biceps with the extended stretch and Tai Cheng week 6 day 5.

Today's workout was Party Rockin Step #1 plus the bonus #2 combo #2, 67 minutes, 403 calories. I then did Tai Cheng Travel and Sport dvd with a bit of extra time on the foam roller. I put an app on my cell phone that gives calories based on time and average heart rate, age, and weight, and it gave me 524 calories for Party Rockin Step. I also verified my hr between the monitor and my phone heartrate on my Galaxy 5S. I just find all of the variables interesting.

Today I did Tai Cheng week 6 day 6. I think that it will change up some on week 7. This week was a repeat of the moves and the same neural reboot every day.

Hi everyone! Well, I can't say I have any workout updates for you. Just not into it right now, no other excuse than that. I had all intentions of getting up and starting my plan again, but I just didn't have it in me. I hope my passion for working out comes back soon. I'm just tired of getting up so early to workout. I know I'll have to start doing it again soon, but right now I'm just going to take another week off and then take it from there.

You all have been getting on some great workouts! I'm jealous! Nice job and keep it up! Maybe next week will be different for me...

I'll check in when I can!
