I got up and did 4Day Split HIS no weights this morning. I am going to try to hit weights later today. I have so much going with the dentist (getting a couple of crowns) and a computer tech coming out that I think tomorrow may be my rest day instead.

Suz, nice workout. I hope you build a Butt :D I want to build one too!!

Good Morning Maniacs!!!

I rested the past two days so I am behind. I am gonna work shoulders and get on elliptical this morning and then off to work. Post stats tomorrow.

Was working last night at gift shop. Had a couple that came in that raises possums. Told me and the other girl I work with everything about possums. They talked to us for about an hour. lol. Another lady comes in looking for gravesite...was looking for 3 days for a particular grave. We get all kinds that come in to visit with us (except for the snotty ones)...makes my night!!! Love it!!!

Good morning!

Here's my leg/triceps/ab workout from last night for those who don't want to go read it. Since I never post details I thought it was worth reposting. :p I did CC #8 around noon yesterday.

Leg press: 3 sets of 20 reps on Bowflex Revolution
Calf extensions: 3 sets of 20 on Bowflex Revolution
Leg extentsions: 3 sets of 20 on Bowflex Revolution
Squats on Smith machine: 3 sets of 20
Walking lunges: 3 sets of 20 w/only 15# in each hand
I WANT TO BUILD A BUTT!!!

Triceps pushdowns: 3 sets of 15
Triceps overhead presses: 2 sets of 15 with one dumbell and then last set of 15 with one dumbell per arm
Triceps dips: 3 sets of 20

Abs: Not sure what they're called but when you're sitting on the bench and bring your legs in to your chest and back out - 3 sets of 20. I haven't worked my abs in forever. They're flat with some definition but I want more definition now.

Char - I always love how positive you are about your jobs. So I guess you're the possum expert now!

Diane Sue - The dentist doesn't sound like much fun. Good you got started on your workout already. Not me. Darn it!

Pebblesus - Nice workout yesterday. Joining the butt builders club? :)

I'm making beef barley soup in the crock pot today. Should be yummy. It's a pretty healthy recipe too.

I need to work out. DH said instead of doing one body part a day I should do a push pull workout. He said he would set one up for me so that it won't take too long so I can still do my cardio 6 days a week if I want to. He said he can have me puking in 10 minutes if I want to. I told him I'd like to do weights a bit longer than 10 minutes thank you. :rolleyes: He said he just thought I wanted to maximze my time. Yeah, let's not get carried away.

Yesterday I did Slim Series Burn it up and today I did Jari Loves Ripped 1000. Tomorrow starts new workouts with RCR. I have 3 weeks to go with that rotation.

Last week I went to the dentist and was there for 1 1/2 hrs! I could hardly move my neck when I got out of the chair. He was just fixing a cracked tooth, but had some problems with it. Then I went to the Dermatologist and got 2 spots frozen off my face. I have huge gooey blisters on my nose and side of my face. I'm looking pretty good right now...NOT! LOL!

Teddy- I love how you do such long walks. Wish I could fit that into my day somewhere. So relaxing for the mind.

Pebblesus- Nice workout you did yesterday! Hope you get in all you need to do today.

toasty Possum expert- Sounds like fun at work talking to all the interesting people. I'm watching "taking lives" right now, not really horror, but mystery... Gotta prepare for the season. Not going looking for grave sites anytime soon though.;)

Suz- Great workout yesterday! I'm trying to build a butt too...well, more like rearrange a butt, lol. Let us know how the dragon flags work out for you. Me, personally, I'm stayin' away! :p:eek:
 
Dallys - I'm sure you're not losing your fitness with all these other workouts. Can you believe how early we're getting snow? I'm just not ready. Maybe it will end early in the spring. Ha!

I'm so conflicted on what workouts to do. I was toying with the idea of doing another P90X rotation but doing my own cardio and actually doing cardio more days a week in addition to the weight work and doing my own leg days since he doesn't do weights on leg days. But DH thinks it will be too much to do hour long cardio sessions and then P90X so that's why he suggested a push pull workout. I just don't know what I want. I know I'm ready for a big change though. I think I won't talk to him about it and maybe just do a modified P90X program. ;) I'd love to be able to do pullups this go round if I can keep my shoulder healthy. It's been feeling really good. I'll just have to start going to bed earlier so I can get up early enough to get all of that in. Shoot, if Lora can get up at 2am then surely I can get up at...4:45 some days and 5 other days? I always got up at 5 anyway.
 
I still have not accomplished what I intended to. Didn't make it to the grocery store yet. My dd and some of the grandchildren came over after church and we had lunch, brownies and played games. Now I still need to go out and come back and do my weights. I think I need more of something to burn off the brownies LOL I used good smart balance Omega3 butter blend and egglands best eggs so maybe they weren't too bad:p

Suz, I remember doing that move for abs on a steeper incline. I think I got it from a Cory Everson Book. Only thing is I think when I raised up so high one time I hurt my neck and had horrible head and neck pain so never did them again. I did 1 hr cardios with P90X before. It depends on what works for you. I get up at 4:45 most mornings but am so tired by evening I don't feel like doing much later in the day. You know, I have never wanted to work till I feel like puking. I don't want to feel bad. I like to have some soreness and results not feel sick. Not worth it to me. LOL

Dallys, I will probably be in that dentist chair for ant least 1 1/2 hours. I did have a hair appointment later in the afternoon but changed it. Didn't think between the dentist and computer tech coming that I would be up for sitting in the chair at the salon too. That reminds me of a month ago when I had dd remove a skin cancer and had to run around with stitches in the side of my nose. Concealer does not work for those. I had to go shopping and pick up the children all week so got funny looks from people.

I had better light a fire under my rear so I get something done here!! BBL
 
Diane Sue - I wondered about that move and the neck when I saw her doing it. It looked like it could be kinda painful. Maybe I should stick with Ab Ripper X if I do a P90X rotation. Yeah, DH was kidding about puking. :) I'm with you, I don't want to puke either! Although sometimes on those CC workouts I work a little too hard and almost have to! I know when I get up earlier I am more tired at night and can hardly stay awake past 8:30! Lately I've been staying up waaay too late and not getting up until 6! I go into work at 8:30 so I have plenty of time in the morning to get in a long workout.
 
This evening I did 4 Day Split Low intensity Step stopping after the calves and repeating them then did the abs(no stretch) , I then did Body Max 2 shoulders and abs, and 10 minutes solution Sculpt Tone and Reshape with Amy Bento upper tone and chisel and abs with my blue heavy figure 8 band, I finished with Body Max 2 stretch. Workout this evening was 636 calories burned and 55% fat. Total calories today was 860.

Suz, I think P90X abs would be better:) I know I got decent results doing it and I never had neck issues either even though I added some resistance to it. I am so tired in the evenings when I sit down with dh to watch television in the evenings I am usually nodding off. Since he has been gone I have been bad about crawling into bed at 10-11pm and then dragging out of bed at 4:45. This is a bad habit I need to break! Doesn't work well.
