Yesterday was chest and triceps and abs
Today Cardio core circuit.

Prayers for St. Louis and Ferguson, MO (about a half hour to 45 minutes from where I live), so much unrest right now. My husband works in downtown St. Louis and there has been some criminal acts there. Offices opening later businesses closed, very sad and scary. So, prayers for healing.
 
Today, I did Cross Fire with the core workout and Tai Cheng week 12 day 3 tai chi portion. Total time was 97 minutes and calories burned 507. The doctors office called yesterday and said that the dexascan showed my stress fracture in my back was still improving but that there is a problem with my hip :0 So, I am supposed to keep up weight bearing exercise and my calcium and vitamin d supplements. I have been doing that all along and taking Boniva.

Roselyn, I am sure it causes a lot of worry. I just have a hard time understanding why people behave like they do. My prayers for the innocent that are hurt by all of it.

Debbie, I like Piyo. It does bother my knee that had the surgery though with a lot of the curtsy lunge type moves or whatever they call them. I have to keep it a little shallow and not twist as much. Since your problem is different it may be great for you. The advantage is that they are non impact and no weights.

Today I did Rock Out Knockout premix 1, 38 minutes followed by Les Mills Pump Extreme, 58 minutes. I have been doing some prep cooking for tomorrow's Thanksgiving Dinner. So thankful for such a wonderful family :)
 
Yesterday I did nothing. Just ate lots of good food and played games with the family. I hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Today my 6 year old granddaughter and I did Party Rockin Step 2 Extreme 10 intervals mix, 74 minutes, 515 calories. Art of flow yoga with Zuzana, 45 minutes, 105 calories.
 
I forgot to post my workout this morning. I got on my treadmill and did some up hill climbs along with using 3# weights in my hands to do bicep curls, lateral raises, shrugs, etc. Worked up a good sweat and got my HR up. I stayed on my treadmill for 40 minutes and did about 2 miles.

Roselyn - I know, the stuff going on in Ferguson is just so terrible. Those people are destroying their own town, I just don't understand that. It's just a shame that human beings are acting like that.

Diane Sue - I got the PiYo workouts and I'll be starting them on Monday. I hope it helps my knees. We'll see. I'd like to still lift weights maybe once a week and add the PiYo in. We'll see.
 
No workout again today. I got up early to workout before I went shopping with the girls and stepped on wet carpet. Anyway, the sink was leaking from the hot water valve under the sink that had broke off. I was mopping up water and finding a bucket. Ended up showering and going to Home Depot with dh. It is fixed now. I will be pushing to get some workouts in this next week. I have two early mornings to be up and ready and Friday we should be closing on our house :)
 
This morning I did Flex Train 57 minutes, 300 calories. It felt good to do something :)

Debbie, I will be interested to hear your thoughts on Piyo.
 
Today I did the Define: Lower Body workout from PiYo. I liked the workout but it was so short, only 16 minutes. I need to add stuff to this, obviously. I started to sweat and then the workout was over. I think I will like this series, though. I feel good right now. Just need to add either the treadmill or a short weight lifting session before or after I do them. Some of the other workouts are 30 to 40 minutes which is good. But 15 minutes to me really isn't a workout. LOL!!!
 
Debbie, the times on the sheet they sent is off for the workouts. You could do two and do either sweat or drench. Or do lower and buns together. Buns is 28 minutes. Define upper is only 20 minutes. Core is 30 minutes. Did you get the extra strength dvds? Strength legs with the discs is 26 minutes. Full body strength is 30 and hard core on the floor is 34.
