Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for November 2014

No workout today. I did my morning appointments and ran errands. Tomorrow I will get the workout in!

We are supposed to have snow here around 5 in the morning. I am really not ready for this type of weather. We may be moving into our house around the first. I did Cathe's Hiit 40/20, 30 minutes, 217 calories, Heart rate max was 173 which is great for me. I then did Kelly Coffey's Slim Sculpting kettlebell workout, core/abs mix skipping the warm up, 27 minutes, 143 calories. I finished with Tai Cheng week 11 Day 4, 50 minutes.
 
So I'm finally feeling human again and I so need to start moving. I'm ashamed at how long I have not worked out. I did Cardio Coach #1 today and had an ok workout. Knees feel alright, I'm hoping the anti-inflammatory's are working. Tomorrow I plan to do Muscle Max. I need to get with the weights again. My plan is two cardio workouts, two total body and a yoga workout each week. I'm hoping to do that for a while.

Today's workout was 36 minutes long, I ran 2 miles and burned 320 calories.
 
Yesterday I did Tai Cheng week 11 Day 5. This morning my workout was Low Impact Challenge warm up and bonus step circuit. I did a few minutes of the workout but not enough room for the cha chas and turns. I kept trying to modify and gave that up. This was 31 minutes and 221 calories bured. I then did Low Impact Series Total Body Tri-sets back, biceps, and core, 33 minutes, 159 calories. I finished with Tai Cheng week 11 day 6 neural reboot, 31 minutes, 85 calories. Total time was 95 minutes and calories burned 465. From what I understand week 12 and 13 of Tai Cheng are the same. The same neural reboot I have been doing and all 18 moves. I really think this has helped my knees and my alignment. I had no problems with Hiit 40/20 Saturday which is great :) I can't wait for Cathe's new workouts come. I always feel like I need more cardio and calorie blasting weight work during the holidays to keep all those extra calories burned off. A new set of workouts will be great during the holidays.

Debbie, good to see that you are back at it and no knee issues. It looks like you have a good plan worked out.
 
Today I did Muscle Max and had a pretty good workout. I went a little lighter than usual but thats only because I haven't lifted a weight in over 2 weeks. I was able to do the leg portion as well, although my right knee still bothers me a bit. I was careful and went light.

Today I did P90X3 MMX , Total Body Tri-sets Lower Body and Chest Shoulders and Triceps, finishing with Tai Cheng week 11 Day 6 Tai Chi. I only did one warm up and stretch with Tri Sets. Total time was 1 hr 51 minutes and calories 612.
 
Today I did Bryan Kest's Energize yoga workout. Felt really good to do that workout. I couldn't hold the poses as long as they did but I feel I did really well with it otherwise. I feel rubbery right now. LOL!!!
 
Today I did Shock Cardio Athletic Step, Butts and Guts abs and the stability ball abs, finishing with Tai Cheng week 12 neural reboot. Total time 1 hr 45 minutes and 480 calories.

Debbie, rubbery is good. I get that from the neural reboot on Tai Cheng. I still cannot get into the splits and I swear he holds that for so long. But when I am done my legs and hip flexors are feeling pretty good.
 
Today I did Cardio Coach #3 and had a pretty good workout. Knees still bother me a bit. The left one feels like it swells up when I run and the right one just hurts like it was before - but not as much if that makes sense. I guess I really need to be careful from now on.

Workout was 40 minutes, burned 330 calories and ran about 2.25 miles.
 
Today I did X10 mix of Low Impact and Fat Burning Circuit, Burn Sets Back and Biceps with the stretch, and finished with Tai Cheng week 12 day 1 Tai Chi Portion which was 33 minutes. Total time was 1 hr 41 minutes and calories burned 542.

Debbie, I am sorry to hear the knees are still bothering you. I understand what you are saying about them bothering but not as much. I know that you will be careful.
 
Today I did STS Total Body - one of the shorter premixes. This is one workout that Cathe gets on my nerves in a big way. I'm not sure why, but everything she says in this workout irritates me. I had a pretty good workout and ended up going to specific chapters because I didn't like how the premix was set up.

I'm thinking about getting the PiYo workouts, they look really cool.
 
Today I did Lower Body Blast, 59 minutes. I followed this with High Reps triceps, shoulders, chest, abs, 27 minutes, Tai Cheng week 12 day 2. Total calories burned 465. No workout tomorrow. We have a presentation we are going to early. Then maybe to my grandson's wrestling tournament.
 
Yesterday I did Tai Cheng week 12 day 2 Tai Chi. Today I did High Step Challenge, Piyo Define Upper Body, and finished with Tai Cheng week 12 day 3 Neural Reboot and the brief putting it all together tai chi twice so I hit both sides. He moves fast and it is really just a demo of it together but I am working on it ::)

No workout today, I had to be at work by 7:00. Not sure what I could have done anyways, now my left knee is really hurting. I can't win. I ordered PiYo, hopefully those workouts will be easier on my knees. I hear it can even help with knee pain. I hope.
 
Today I walked on my treadmill for 45 minutes. Went 2.25 miles and worked up a good sweat. My knee still hurts. Oy!!!
