Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for month of February

Today I did Cardio Coach #1 and had a good workout. I'm glad my knees are better, they don't really bother me much anymore. Yay!!!

Workout was 37 minutes, ran 2.25 miles and burned about 320 calories.

We got a ton of snow yesterday and today. It's been a pretty decent winter until now.

We have not had much snow here Debbie, supposed to get a little bit wed, would like to see some, not a lot but a little:)
 
Today I decided to try some of Amy Ross Step Challenge 5. I purchased it around the time I had my knee surgery and was not able to do it because of the jumping and twists and turns. I did the warm up and combo 1, 15 minutes. There is quite a learning curve with this one. I will have to learn 1 combo at a time. I then did Les Mills Pump Extreme, 58 minutes and finished off with Yoga Relax Express 1.

Debbie, that is great that your knees are better. Not much snow here. They have had a bit more in the northern part of the state.
 
Today I did the Ripped Hiit Lift It, Hit It Chest, Shoulders & Triceps. I used my own music and had a GREAT workout!!!

This is what I did:

CHEST
Flat Dumbbell Press:
65# - 1 set/14 reps; 2 sets/12 reps
Finisher - Pushups: 10 reps on my knees

Incline Dumbbell Press: 60# - 2 sets/12 reps; 1 set/11 reps
Finisher - Tri Pushups: 10 reps on my knees

Incline Dumbbell Flies: 25's - 3 sets/12 reps
Finisher - Decline Pushups: Skipped

SHOULDERS
Barbell Overhead Press:
25# - 3 sets/10 reps
Superset w/
Upright Rows: 25# - 3 sets/10 reps
Finisher - Scarecrows: 5's/3's - 15 reps

Alternate Lateral Raise: 8's - 3 sets/10 reps
Superset w/
Front Raise: 12# - 3 sets/10 reps
Finisher - Lateral Raise w/Rotation: 3's - 15 reps

TRICEPS
Overhead Triceps Extension:
25# 2 sets/12 reps; 1 set 10 reps
Finisher - Dips: Skipped

Lying Barbell Extension: 35# - 3 sets/12 reps
Finisher - Kickbacks: 5's - 20 reps
 
Today I did Party Rockin Step 58 minutes,324 calories, P90X3 CVX, 33 minutes, 266 calories (this is cardio and core), finishing with Z Cut Power Yoga warrior series and stretch 11 minutes, 38 calories. Total time was 99 minutes and calories burned, 628.

Debbie, nice work on the weights :)

Roselyn, nice job on all of the core work. I love core work.
 
Today I did a Cardio Coach mix and had a great workout. I'm so glad I'm feeling better. No pains anywhere. I'm being careful and being able to push it a bit more.

Workout was 43 minutes, ran 2.5 miles and burned 308 calories although I think it was more. I'm going by my Fitbit.

Today I did the new Ripped Hiit Lift It, Hit It Back, Bi's & Shoulders. I really like these workouts, I'm glad I got them. I did well with this one and went heavier than last time.

I seriously HATE concentration curls. I don't know why Cathe insists on doing these with every bicep workout she does. They suck and I never feel them and they hurt my elbows. I went with 15# at the end because my elbow started to hurt.

Finisher - Barbell Crazy 8's: 25#

This morning I did Ripped With Hiit Low Impact One Mix 7 srcambled, 29 minutes. I then did Ripped with Hiit Abs one, 10 minutes. Then I contemplated yoga but decided t do Kelly Coffey Slim Sculpting kettlebell workout mix core/abs, 31 minutes. I really like the core/abs on that one. Total time was 70 minutes. I have my grandson here today so we will probably take a trip to the library :D

Debbie, nice work. I like most of the finishers in that on but I am with you on skipping T Band Pulls. They make my neck and shoulders hurt.

So I did a second workout today. I did an hour of yoga at work. One of the employees there is going to start doing a class once a week so I thought I'd try it. It was a good class other than I got nauseated really bad. Not sure why. This is why I can't workout after work, my stomach just can't take it. Plus it was so hot there, I thought I was going to pass out along with getting nauseous. I stuck with it and had a good workout but now I'm not sure I'll be able to do again. I may try it once more next Thursday and see how I do.

Today I did a Leg workout on my own and I had a great one! My legs were really feeling it. Then I got on my treadmill and did a fast paced incline walk for a mile.

This is what I did with my leg workout:

Squats - 45# - 2 sets/12 reps (warmup)
Squats - 65# - 3 sets/10 reps
Leg Press Station - 135# - 3 sets/10 reps
Calf Raises - 135# - 2 sets/20 reps
Elevated Deadlifts - 55# - 3 sets/12 reps
Static Lunges - 12's - 2 sets/10 reps
 
Today I did Crossfire Less Impact mix stopping at the abs, 40 minutes, 276 calories. I then did T25 Gamma Circuit, 29 minutes, 200 calories. I finished off with Zuzka Z Cut Power yoga Crescent series and cool down, 10 minutes, 43 calories. Total time was 79 minutes and calories burned 519 . I had planned on doing P90X3 Triometrics but was just afraid it had a bit more impact than I want this week. I am trying to be a bit easier on the joints this week. I only used 8# for T25 today.

Debbie, nice workout. I wonder what makes you nauseated? Have you eaten recently? That seems it would be a nice way to get some extra yoga in.
 
Hi everyone! This morning I did Cardio Coach #3 and had a really good workout. This one and CC#1 are the perfect timed workouts for me in the early mornings. Love them!!

Diane Sue - Not sure why, I think because I had food in my system. It was really weird. I'll try again this Thursday and see what happens.
 
Today I did Ripped With Hiit Low Impact Hiit #1, 28 minutes, 203 calories, heart rate average, 134 and max 161. Then I did Yoga Max, 48 minutes, 107 calories. Total time was 76 minutes and calories burned 310.

Debbie, I almost always do my workouts on an empty stomach.
 
Today I did an upper body workout on my own. I did Chest, Biceps and Triceps. Had an excellent workout.

This is what I did:

Barbell Chest Press: 55# - 2 sets/12 reps (warmup)
Barbell Chest Press: 65# - 1 set/10 reps; 70# - 2 sets/8 reps
Incline Dumbbell Press: 25's - 3 sets/12 reps
Incline Dumbbell Flyes: 25's - 3 sets/10 reps

Barbell Curls: 35# - 3 sets/12 reps
Alternate Hammer Curls: 15's - 3 sets/10 reps
Reverse Dumbbell Curls: 12's - 3 sets/10 reps
W's: 8's - 3 sets/12 reps

Close Grip Bench Press: 45# - 1 set/10 reps; 50# - 2 sets/10 reps
Lying Triceps Extensions: 12's - 3 sets/12 reps
Cross Body Extensions: Green Band - 3 sets/15 reps each side

That's it. Took an hour. Loved it!!!!
