Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for Monday October 2

I am new to post on this forum, but I read it periodically to see what the "fitness maniacs" are up to.

Today, I am amazed at the amount of weight some are lifting (Diane Sue, Randi). So, I was pretty proud of myself for being able to keep up with Cathe's amount of weight. Now, I'm wondering if this isn't enough especially because I'm very tall (5'10"). And I have no where near the definition Cathe does. I have muslce, but you can only see it when flexing/lifting.

So,first of all, how long did it take you to build up to this? Are you happy with the results you have seen? I have noticed just since beginning Cathe about a year and a half ago that I weigh more. I know muscle weighs more than fat, but it can be discouraging. So, did you also notice a weight gain? Or did you reduce body fat enough that the scale stayed even? Part of me wants to go for it, but part of me is scared that I won't like the way I look. I've been really thin before, but never toned, defined, and sculpted. Much harder to achieve this look!

Also, I would love some tips about your diet. I know that eating clean is huge. I am currently a healthy weight, but I would like to be leaner.

Sorry this is so long, but, I would love to hear back from you. You all seem very experienced and I would love some guidance.
 
Diana Sue - yep...read my post above. We posted at the same time. I just got done previewing them. The Step one has portions that look doable and portions that look over my head. It is similar to Imax and has about 9 blasts. The blasts look like easier coreography ...of course. I'm going to do about 60 min in the AM (as long as I hear my alarm). The Core one has Diana Sue's name written all over it. Who else would need a 50 minute ab/core workout? Kickbox....was a very quick preview...but it has 40 min of kickboxing with w/u and c/d and then 50 minutes of total body core based strength work. I plan on doing them all this week...........so stay tuned. Her step style has some unique steps, some familiar and some Amy type steps, as well as Cathe like. I would say her description of difficulty was accurate. A little more difficult than Cathe.......but we shall see in the AM.
 
Welcome Goldenrun. I pretty much stick with Cathe's weight, sometime less. Diet is 95% for me. I have to eat clean, that is really what allowed me to see results. I still have work to do, leaning out and such, but stick with it. Lift what you can, and strive to improve each time you do it. The other women here are more knowledgable then me about this, that's where I learn most stuff from. I am sure they will have more info.

I did Cardio from C&W, repeating segments 1 and 2.
