I think today is ending up a rest day. Darnit! Nothing is working out timewise. I know, get your workouts over with in the morning, blah, blah, blah...

Meg-I eat white potatoes (and sweet) quite often. Nowadays, I mostly eat them with cottage cheese, but will do what Lisa does and have them with all-the-works every now and then. I really don't believe any fruit or veggie should be avoided either. I've read that eating starchy carbs after a workout is best. So workout hard and eat'cha a baked potato and enjoy!:9 Oh, and It was a little maltese that wanted some skin (didn't get any, Ha!). The little-er the meaner is the norm around here. I hate it, because my hands will shake the rest of the day now.

Diane Sue -just wanted to share this website with you in case you were interested in these yoga toes for your bunions, etc. I've been wearing mine since my feet have been hurting and they seem to help. I just can't wear them that long cuz my feet freeze. Need to get some toe socks like they suggest.

Lora, thanks for the link. I wonder if that would work for me. I have awful toes. Try to wear those spaces to polish them and it hurts. I really think a lot links back to really bad shoes as a child. I have a rotation that I think would be good. I separated the lower body into two rounds between upper body, but you could do them all at once if you like.

Hey Hey Maniacs!!!!

Here (see me raising my hand wildly)??? lol

Been in court earlier today and just got back from a wonderful romantic dinner with dh. Had a piece of choc. cake too.

Before dinner...did ab ripperx and then on elliptical. Put it on level 20 (highest it would go) and set to random so sometimes it would drop to level 12, then go to 18, etc. Hard to go 4 mph on level 20. I am trying to get my legs stronger and practice with this. Next time, try to go 5mph on level 20. Anyhoo, burned 347 cals and went 2.7 miles. During warm up went up to 25mph on level 1 (woohoo) lol. Listened to Seether again doing this.

Eats today:

Kelloggs High Protein Cereal w/Tazo Refresh Tea
Protein Bar
(Large) Chicken Sandwich with salad
(skipped protein shake..instead went and had dinner immediately after I got off elliptical..well bathed first. tee he)
Dinner: Filet Mignon, mashed potatoes, green beans w/almonds, choc. cake, spinach, 5 very large shrimp. (I didn't finish choc. cake..will savor tomorrow and next day cuz it is so rich)! Gawd! lol

Tomorrow? Maybe Yoga. Mowing, etc.
 
I feel like I have been eating all day:)
Morning, was really hungry so had a small bowl of shredded wheat and light soy milk
After cardio I had a coffee, protein smoothie with light soy milk
after my workout I had a Zone prefect bar. I feel these have a lot of garbage in them. Dh has them for lunch. I was out of Cliff bars.
Mid afternoon I ate some tofu that I put in a skillet with olive oil spray and garlic with salt fee seasoning. I sprinkled some lt soy sauce on it.
Dinner was a recipe in the Oxygen Nutrition issue from the Eat clean cookbook Szechaun chicken strips.(you can use tofu, chicken or both) I did not put this on rice. I put it over some Lentils that I cooked for another of the recipes that has salmon and spinach. Made another crustless cheesecake with fat free cream cheese, tofu and splenda spread with sugar free strawberry fuit spread. I may have some of this later.
Also had a cup of decaf chai tea with soy milk and splenda.

Lora, there are different Cliff bars. They have no High fructose corn sweetners in them. I think they are pretty clean.

I just did PowerMax for the first time. It was fun! I miss doing step! Then I did a few yoga stretches for my back. Those DOMS from yesterday are killer!

Char- so glad you got some hubby time! Your dinner sounds fantastic.

Today, Kashi BB waffles for breakfast, salad for lunch, 2 slices of sharp cheese, dinner was baked chik breast w a BBQ rub seasoning, broc and carrotts, ONE small baked potato. And a couple pickle chips LOL. I am a bit hungry now after myWO, but don't wanna eat. WIll have some tea. Did good with my drinking today, mostly crystal light, and tea this morning, and water during WO.
