Charlotte -Is your back fat...upper-mid back on the sides?? or is it lower back? I thought of you yesterday cuz the workout I was doing did standing work for the Serratus and she said -- the area where you get fat on your back. Not saying you have it ....but I know how we can be our own worst critic.....believe me. Good luck with your cardio this week. Balls to the WALL !!! Girl!!! (or something to that nature ...LOL). -- AT least you don't have a JLo Butt!!!
 
Good Morning
My brother came home last night at 10:30. It was so good to see him! He had to report back to Whiteman last night so he had to drive right after he go in. He was so exhausted! At least he is coming back home today and staying for two weeks.

Today is cardio fusion. Next week is my last week of slow and heavy. I've got more muscle mass then I've ever had! Then I might start endurance training/circuit.
When my brother comes back I want to see if he can help me get more pictures on here:)

JLO has cellulite? I thought she looked good. That sucks if they covered all that up in the magazines.

Dallys- the toasty rotation rocks! Char shared it with me a while back and it kicked me off my plateau, finally and I started dropping the poundage again! It was fun.

Amber- sorry the kids are making like a tad difficult. I swear I put the toys away in one room, and return just to see them in the other room!! LOL! IT never ends. Hope it gets better for you.

Randi- I hope you have a great visit with your bro. We would love to see more pics.

Deb must still be sleeping LOL!!

Lora- I agree about when instructors where so much clothes. I don't know how it can't be annoying. I am sure butt is bootylicious, in a good way!

Anne- I am with you on the football. Hate it.

don't bother PM'ing me the rotation, I just found it on way cool excel sheets that allow computer input for the worksheets and has the rotations on there too!

Debbie...I did make a shake yesterday it was yummy, we only got about 1/2 inch of snow here and a lot of wet ice too.

Meg...thanks..it will get better, 7 days to go. With my DD...she was not like that at all. In fact, if I went to her place right now, I could eat off the floor. So, this is just soooo different. Boys are sooooo different. I feel very blessed about now.

DAllys I keep reading how good green tea is for you, we have a bunch here, but I'm just addicted to this peppermint right now. Before that it was chamomile. IN fact, my assistant went on some green tea diet kick for awhile and lost about 10 pounds (for awhile).

Lora...my daughter has all those Core secrets w/ Gunnar, I just never thought they would get my heart right up, do you think it's worth a try? I have a few weeks left here on the x, but I am already thinking about the next rotation to do.

Amber - I think you would like them if you understand Functional Fitness.....like the TLT's. They are much different than the TLT's...Gunnar uses low reps usually and the exercisers use puny weights. I use 10-15 pound dumbells and add weight to the ab workout. I usually do 2 back to back also. This is not a traditional weight workout. Only some of the DVDs have cardio on them. I tend to like the ones with the jump rope intervals on them....can't recall the names, but I usually pause the tape and jump a bit longer than them. The last offerings are the most advanced and I only think they are moderately difficult....but they work you very different. I really felt the standing wood chops this morning.....they even got difficult. If you use heavy enough weight and sometimes if you know what's coming, start your reps while he's explaining....you get a better workout. I'm not thrilled with the workouts themselves, but I understand the extreme importance of functional fitness training ....especially when you lift weights and do cardio regularly....as it works the stabilizing muscles which get overlooked in traditional weight work.
 
I just got back from my physical. Boy was I hungry. My workout was shorter this am but I guess I worked up an appetite and I couldn't eat till they did the labwork which was last. Anyway I wanted to get in decent cardio and lower so I did Body Max2 w/up and power circuits, CTX Power Circuits cardio no floorwork, and Body Max original power circuits and str.. It took me 1hr. 16 min. total. I used a 50# barbell and a pair of 20# dumbbells throughout. I still need to go to the pharmacy and the post office. I stopped at the library and was going to walk over to the post office but some man with long white hair halfway down his back and a briefcase started talking to me about my pretty blonde hair so I got in the car and left.

Maeghan, I posted to Lora awhile back about how I use weights on the ab workouts. I usually wear my 1# shoe weights throughout, on Butts & Guts where Cathe wears ankle weights I wear 5#'s. I use either a med ball or a dumbbell on all crunches, on the arms overhead ones I pick up a dumbbell like I was going to do wood chops, on ball rollouts I use a barbell.

Anne, it's funny I always heard J-Lo comments and always thought she looked fine to me when I see her on television. They don't airbrush movies do they? Now I have looked at cheerleaders and commented that they were chubby looking and then dh sets the television settings so they look normal and not wide and then I am like Doh slap to the head. I don't know why I forget that.

Charlotte, I don't see where you could have back fat. Are you sure it's fat? If it shows more TTOM maybe it is just fluid retention and you are going to have to just watch sodium more strictly if you want to not see it. I do understand though. When I look in the mirror if I see my belly protrude a little or I think I look soft all over (I know I am probably imagining mega larger than what it is) I get crabby and work on it till I don't see it anymore. When I make negative comments dh doesn't like it. He thinks I am so incredibly perfect :7 So, I never hear anything bad from him. YEs you got a ways to go with P90X. I did the recovery weeks the first time through but added more cardio. Also one recovery week I was in Cancun so I took it with me and just did part of cardio X and part of Core Synergistics and 45 min. of Yoga X that week. And I did Ab Ripper X once.

BBL I have to get to the store before school is out. Not much time here.

Missy - WOO HOO on the COLTS! I was so happy to see they won. I like the Bears too so the Superbowl will be a good one. Hope I get to watch it.

Meg - Hope you feel better, girl. You have been battling that for a while, haven't you?

Anne - Are you in any pain? Hope you get back to normal soon. We can't get enough snow, we only have a light dusting right now, maybe an inch.

Amber - You are a saint. Had that been me some heads would be spinning. My step-kids know better then to make a mess of my house. Oy!

Now Jalo is gorgeous. Just a fact.She has cellulite. 95% of fit women do.I have seen 100# women with cellulite.Cellulite is fat and alot is your genetic makeup.

I personally think the bootie is sexy IMO. A nice round butt is more attractive than a flat one to me.
I would my self see a little fat verses anorexia...
God knows i sure have fat. Oh well..


They just don't let you see it.Did you see Enough.... She even has a little back fat.
Just goes to say that even if you have some fat doesn't mean you are ugly... Depends what you like...


BTW, I think Char, and Diane Sue are built better than Jalo.

Deb, i am not in alot of pain. Uncomfortable. The chest is tight and face is pulling.

Lora..I'm going to try gunnar, Ash is bringing me the early ones, she really likes them cuz all she has to worry about is her gut!!! I do like functional, especially with p90x...it really has it's benefits with balance and core.

Diane Sue..I can see where your DH is coming from, why mess with perfection? but it's nice to hear even you have a little body sensitivity.

Anne..you are gonna be soo bored by the time you go back to work! We are gonna start seeing you on here bouncing off the walls. Did you see where I said I think your new bumps weigh about 3 pounds total. so 5# isn't bad, you have lots of fluid in there healing things up for you. (I had stitches coming out for a year)

I am liking the butt pictures. Right on! lol. Go J.Lo! Nice round butt. I like my butt too..I cannot lie. lol. Makes me want to take another picture, but ya'll seen my butt enough....moving right along....

I just finished KPC. Thought it would be a good workout for core/back and just overall good cardio workout. I have fun with this workout and it perked me up nicely. I am gonna do coremax 1 tonight. Who said something about yoga? Core Syngeristic was today for those that are on schedule, right?

OK, so I got a wo in. Although I think it sucked major ass, (since we are on an ass kick today). I started out doing this Step/hi/lo WO I got from a friend today. I was getting into the step alright, jumping a little here and there for more intensity, then 20 min in I twisted my ankle, bad. But I rested for a sec and went back to it. I couldn't get into it again, then tried the hi'lo, but had to stop. GOt to watch it first next time for the moves. So I threw in KPC and did the first half. Then the abs. I think I made it almost an hour. Just couldn't get back into it much after my ankle. Made me smokin mad! So I will rest my ankle now. Maybe I can do some pilates tongiht or something. Argh.....

I love that your assistant lost weight (for awhile). Ain't that how it goes? LOL! Oh how I hate people messing up my house! Hope your cyclone damage won't be that bad when you get home.

Meg- Hope your ankle will be ok. I'm thinking of doing the Toasty lean out rotation too. I've gotloads of back fat and butt fat to get rid of. LOL! What were your results?
