Morning Maniacs -

this morning I did David Kirsch's 7 Day Rx - Legs, Butt & Abs and added on Legs and Precore segments from NYB workout. Workout was 75" and I burned 459 calories.

Have great workouts everyone. I work open to close today and I'm not feeling that great today. Problems and home, migraines, lack of sleep, etc.

Lora - Sorry to hear you are having troubles and not feeling well.:(

Well, I'll admit my eating was off this weekend, kinda lost track of writing it all down. And I didn't sleep well because of the lousy eating. So wasn't feeling so hot this morning, but worked my butt off this morning with a "take no prisoners" attitude.:D

IMAX2 through first blast as body warmup.

2 warm-up sets of 10 reps for every exercise, doing one side at a time. (so everything on the right, then everything on the left, repeat)

One Arm Bent-Over Lat Raise - 5#
One Arm Kickback - 8#
One Arm Row - 25#
One Arm Lat Raise - 5#
One Arm DB Curl - 12#
One Arm Overhead Press - 10#
One Arm Floor Chest Press - 20#

1 Working Drop Set, Rep Pattern 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 20, everything on one side.

One Arm Bent-Over Lat Raise - 16.5,12,10,8,5,3 #
***Upped the first set by .5#, I know not much but I like to go careful with my shoulders
One Arm OH Extensions - 20,15,12,10,8,5 #
***All I can say here is "Ouch". My tris hurt already!
One Arm Row - 52,45,40,35,30,25,#
***This one sends my HR soaring. I dread this one!
One Arm Lat Raise - 16.5,12,10,8,5,3 #
***Again upped the first set by .5#
One Arm DB Curl - 30,25,20,15,10,8 #
***Happy to say I used less of the two finger assists this time, and when I did I just got myself over the stickin' point
One Arm Overhead Press - 27,20,15,12,10,8 #
***Upped the first set by 2#. Toast by the end
One Arm Chest Press - 37,30,25,20,15,10 #
***Upped the first set 2#

I was complete toast by the end. After finishing the right side I couldn't even hold teh pencil steady to write anything down. Weird sensation after you finish the right and it's quiving but yet the left side feels great.

Finished the workout with Stretch from PUB. Workout was 1:23 (had some interuptions, i.e. the phone) and I burned 499 calories. (Once again I forgot to look at the HRM):p

BTW, Saturday's arm set did give me DOMS in my Tris finally!:p:D

Happy Memorial Day!

Lora: I'm sorry you aren't feeling well, but WTG about sticking with your workouts.

Linda: I could have written your post about not eating well and then not tracking it. <sigh> BUT I also woke up today determined to be ON TRACK and focused this week. Let's kick each other's butt this week to stay on it. WTG on tricep DOMS! I know you worked for those. :)

I did STS Disc 13- Chest, shoulders and triceps. It was the third time I did that disc so it was a great workout. I will admit that I've been feeling STS burnout a bit which is weird because I just started a new meso. I think it was more of a workout burnout- maybe that is why it has taken me so long to really get motivated in this meso. Anyway, I'm feeling more focused and happy to be doing it, so that's good. I also tacked on Mindy Mylrea's Interval Express Step workout. Didn't wear a HRM or my GWF- it was charging. :)

Have a great Monday everyone!

Today was Back and Chest doing straight and drop sets. Had an EXCELLENT workout! I feel great today even though I've been eating nothing but junk since Friday. I'll try to do better today. Need to get back on track and FAST!

8 minute warmup on treadmill.

1 minute rest between each set.

**Denotes drop set exercise.

BACK
Unassisted Chinups:
10/7/6/5
***Did well with these. I added one more set this week.

Underhand Barbell Rows:
60# - 10/10/10
***This was light, could have gone heavier.

Dumbbell Pullovers**:
32# - 12/12/12
27# - 15
25's - 14
20's - 10
***After 3rd set there was no rest with the drop sets.

CHEST
Barbell Press:
80# - 8/8/8/8
***This weight bothered my right shoulder a bit but if I kept my form perfect it went away. I'm SURE this is the exercise that has made my right shoulder this way. Added one more set.

Decline Dumbbell Flye:
25's - 10/10/10
***Should have went a bit heavier.

Incline Dumbbell Press**:
32's - 12/12/12
27's - 10
25's - 10
20's - 8
***After 3rd set no rest between drop sets. I got a great burn with this.

Then I got me some assisted cardio! So far it's been a GREAT day!

That is all....

Have a great Memorial Day everyone! We are going to a cookout!

Lora - Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well. Hope things get better for you!

Linda - Excellent workout despite how you were feeling. Glad you finally got doms in the tri's! :p

Patti - I think we all ate bad this weekend. I know I did. We'll get back on track.

Hi to all that comes!

Good Mornin,

Lora, Hope things turn around for ya. Try and have a better day today.

Linda, Terrific workout! Will have to try those one arm exercises to see what it takes. I'm sure a lot!

Patti, Sounds like you are doing great and getting acquainted with the Meso workouts. Great attitude. And a good job on Mindy's Step. Haven't done her workouts yet, but I do have most of them. It looks like she's tough, definitely thorough.

Debbie, you and I posted the same time. Great workout and you too have a great Memorial Day.

I plan on doing Meso 3 first week Legs, I chose disc 37. Wish me luck, I think I'll need it.

Afterwards will go and babysit with one of my grandson's. Chasie is 4 and so adorable. Just had my other grandson over this weekend to celebrate his 13th birthday. We saw Star Trek. Wonderful movie. He sure kept me coming and going. What a Doll Baby! And smart.

Have a great Momorial day everyone.

I hope you all are having an enjoyable Memorial day. This morning I did Kettlebell Way 2 Joint Mobility warm up and Manmaker one time, then I did STS Back and Biceps disc 21 mesocycle 2 week 3. I was able to go a little heavier on some of the exercises. I then did Amy's Kickbox surge premix that does 2 combos and all of the surges, I finished off with the core refining using a 15# med ball for all but the last exercise that I used a 10 for. Total calories burned was 847. Hopefully we will be looking at some houses today. I ordered two more dvds last night. I ordered Amys beginner Kettlebell workout figuring I can increase the weight. I also ordered Jari's Get Extremely Ripped. I thought these would give me more workouts for the space I have here. I wasn't sure about the ceiling fan in the office when thinking about a step workout. It hangs down from a high ceiling. I was able to move the bench around while doing plyo legs Saturday.
Workout went like this:
w/up sets with blue heavy band lat pulldowns, t pull, y's 12 reps each
Bowflex Pulldowns 3 sets varying hand position 12 reps each 1 set 200#, 2 sets 220# this is up from 190 last time.
Barbell Rows 67# up from 65# 3 sets 12,10,8 reps
1 arm row 1setx12 reps 35#, 1 set 10 reps 37#, 1 set 8 reps 40#
1 set 12 reps 35#, 1 set 10 reps 37#, 1 set 8 reps 40#
Barbell Deadlifts 95# up from 90 last time 3 sets 12,10,8 reps
Barbell Curl 6 sets 1x45#, 1x47#, 1x50#, 1x45#, 1x47#, 1x50#
Incline curls on ball rotate at the top 3 sets 20# dumbbells 12,10,&9 reps
(this was up because last time I had elbow issues)
Reverse dumbbell curls 1 set 20's dropped to 15's on the last 4 reps for total 12 reps, 2 sets 15's 10 and 8 reps.

Started off today with 1 egg 3 whites, protein, and blueberry pancake. I used some stevia and cinnamon in this. Hopefully eating will be better. I can eat my baked potato plain tonight:)

Debbie, I feel like I have been eating nothing but junk since we started moving:eek: Feel puffy and yucky.

Janie, we are wanting to see Star Trek. I have heard it is a real good movie.

Pattie, I have been getting better workouts with STS since I have been pulling out different ones to do over. I pretty much know what weights to have set up and what equipment I will need so things are running pretty smoothly.

Linda, way to go on the tricep doms:D

Lora, I hope your day improves and turns out to be a good one.

I am with all of you on the bad eating! Blah! But, Saturday i planted my flowers all afternoon. Yesterday I did Lean2 (burned the shoulders good) then did a two mile run on the TM. Today I did Turbo Jam Lower Body Jam (I love this one!) then B&G abs, and a little over a mile run on the TM. Off to shower and enjoy the sun!

Happy Memorial day everyone! All of you had some really kick ass workouts! We will all be praising the DOMS tomorrow! :)

Hello Everyone! My eating hasn't been the best either so I was relieved to read that I am not alone. I didn't even bother writing it down but did try to be mindful of what I was eating at least some of the time! I am going to sell my GWF thing if anybody knows of somebody who would be interested. I burn pretty much what I knew I was burning and the pedometer won't work for me. It isn't the unit - it is me. I now know that pedometers don't pick up my steps for some reason. Anyway, last night was CC#5 and I burned 550 calories. I did it on the stepmill and arc. I used Saturday as my rest day even though I was active the whole day. Not sure what I am doing today. I feel sort of lost with STS being finished! I think I am going to do the Beyond 300.

Sonya - if you read this, I saw your post last week asking about STS results. I see much more definition, I have really gotten stronger and leaned out. Of course, I also started really tracking my food so that helped on the leaning out.

Linda - ha ha on the Tabata! I won't be starting anything until after our vacation so you still have time :p Anyway, at this point, I am interested in what you are doing now. Of course, I went through my magazines and somehow, do not have that one issue. Anyway, too many workouts, too little time so if you don't get it to me, no big deal.

Lora - hope things improve in your day.

Diane Sue - good luck on finding a house. Hope you find the perfect place!

Janie - let us know what you think of disc 37 - whew!! It will get you good.

Patti - how was the party? I may have missed your post about it so sorry if that is the case.

Everyone else - Debbie, Meg (nice workouts!) and all who follow - Hi and Bye :)

Happy Memorial Day

I ordered it too. Hope I like it. I don't care for much impact and prefer my machines but knew I would be bummed if I didn't get it :)
