Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for Monday 10-30

I did a 1.5 mile treadmill run for a warm up then did Ripped to the Core and followed with Circuit Max minus the w/up.

Lora, I drink the smoothie while I am picking up after my workout then bathe and dry my hair and make lunch. The smoothie just tides me over till I eat lunch:)

Charlotte, I can relate to the pants wanting to fall off. I have gained weight and the pants seem to get looser. Right now I am at 114#. I go up once in awhile but I am usually miserable from stuffing myself.

Maeghan, I am so glad you got rid of your fat chick thingy. You are a fit maniac now!!

Anne, I am looking forward to your thoughts on the Butts & Guts workout.

My Cathe's won't be here until tomorrow - and I'm not even going to be able to open them....cuz I have to rush and get ready for the concert....but at least I'll be home Wednesday to do one.....although I'm so sore from Barry's.....I'm a bit nervous.

Diana Sue - so -- you don't eat any breakfast at all?? I can't believe that. What time do you sleep till? Also - what were you sore from? I missed that.

Charlotte - I don't think I'm into Devil's Night this year. I'm contemplating selling my bottle. I can't decide what to wear to the chili peppers tomorrow. Smut, Mme Moriarty or what???? I want something rock and rollish. I usually wear Snake Charmer for concerts...but I think I need a change. You don't know what Snake Charmer smells like ...do you?? ETA: I forgot...it's Halloween...should I wear Samhain in honor of the holiday?
 
Well, I just previewed it and let me tell you. Even you are going to feel this one. It goes on forevvvvvvver.
I will let you know tonite after i do it how i feel. It looks awesome.I see pause coming on....
Biggest weight is 35 for squats and deadlifts, but there are alot of lunges .
The floor work is done with ankle weights. Some looks like the 1st firm with Susan Harris, but more intense.Ab section is with weights also.
She used 5# for the lunge work.
I haven't viewed the rest, but i will asap and fill you in.
You are gonna love it.....

Anne HOLY COW!! Guts and Butts sounds GREAT and a little scary at the same time.}( Let us know how it goes. I don't even have a shipping email yet. I ordered late.:( It's all good though, because I'm still doing the P90X rotation.

Loaded a couple new pics. They are super dorky! LOL! Need to work on the camera skills.

Megadoo - You have me thinking about Rainbeau's Dusk DVD.....I was wondering....do you let it keep playing after your finished just to watch her do all of those poses and listen to the music? I love the music on that!!
 
No Lora no breakfast at all. I just consider the smoothie breakfast:) I think I was feeling pretty stiff and sore yesterday from Friday's workout. I did Muscle Max, some Bowflex lower and Pyramid lower floorwork adding some weights on glute tucks and 5# ankle weights on the outer thigh work. It was also my tird total body workout for the week. I tried to really push the weights on all of them.

Dallys, you have got yourself some good arm definition going there. You definitely look lean. Don't you love P90X?

Maeghan, I forgot to answer your question about how my body felt after the two day rest. I felt well energized really ready to hit the workouts. I did some good ones last week. I used to do this quite a bit when we went camping a lot of weekends. Rests are good:)

This workout took about 2 hours. Still got abs to do.

I don't count calories. I use to using fitday.com, but I pretty much have a idea of how many cals I take in from remembering from before. Things I have changed...eating steak and eggs (2-3) for breakfast now. Still have oatmeal on other days. Put in protein shake into my yogurt for snack. I drink the pm protein shakes before bed. This shake only has 3 carbs in it w/ff milk.

I didn't know you were going to a concert. You must be excited. If I were going, I would definitely wear Blood Kiss. No doubt about it. It is all boozy and sexy. Do you have that one? BTW, I just got Chrysanthemum Moon today in the mail along with Red Lantern. I would wear Smut if I were you..WTH.

Wow, what a bod! We have similiar physiques, if I do say so myself. That is one heck of a nice picture. I can see your steel plate abs...no bionic chips hanging out..that is good!;) I will check out the others in a minute.

Your a fantastic weight. I guess I just want to bulk up just a bit more, but pretty much happy with the way I look. Sick of being called skinny all the time though. Must have heard that word a gazillion times in my life. It is no compliment to me. Makes me feel anorexic when I am trying to do the opposite and eat like a horse and build muscle. I hate that word. No one wants to be called skinny when they are trying to build, right? Sorry, didn't mean to rant to you, but you are always so understanding. BTW, nice workout. Your legs probably don't get fried too much even with 5# ankle weights, Maniac!

DS- that's great that 2 day rest was good. Yes, I feel real good about getting rid of that fat chick thing! Thanks for the compliment!

Anne- can't wait to hear about B&G! Sounds great! i am really starting to love working my legs too.

Dallys- you look beautiful, and DS is right- your arms look fab! You are doing great.

Charlotte- Great WO. I have no doubt you will reach your goals. Your lean rotation is what shocked my body to start leaning. I lost 2 inches in my waist with that rotation! So thanks for that.

Lora- yes, I do watch after the WO is done. I think Rainbeau is absolutely fascinating how she can move her body. I wanted to ask you, you know that move, starting in a downward dog, and then "leaping" your feet foward and have them land between your hands? Can you do that? I laughed the first time!LOL! But this morning I actually did better, but my feet land about 8 inches from my hands. Just wondering if you can do that like she does.
In case I forget, have a blast at the concert. Is it RHCP??

Megadoo - Yep.....get to see my boy, Anthony. He's a hottie. I hope he takes his shirt off. Re: that move -- I can't swing all the way thru like they do...but I can get my feet a few inches from my hands. On days I'm tired....I sort of stumble up there. Wait till you get Shiva's and see her put her leg behind her head. I want to be able to do that. It is so cool. She takes her leg up over her shoulder and around her head and then she straightens her leg straight up while grabbing it with the other hand to stretch more...LOL. You need very open hips to do that. My hips are getting more and more open ....with practice...but I doubt I'll ever be that flexible. I'm not a naturally flexible person. The other move that is amazing is when they do those arm balances and then scissor their feet all around or put their feet to one side while balancing on their arms. It's hard to explain.....so I'm not sure if you know what I'm talking about. The other thing that's amazing with yogi's is the amount of strength they have. They can go straight from the floor onto their hands and stand on their hands and then go into poses. That takes A LOT of strength!!

Charlotte - I don't like Blood Kiss....it has vetiver in it and vetiver is evil on me...amps on my skin like crazy. Let me know what you think about Red Lantern and Mum Moon....they are quite different and may need to grow on you.
 
Well if you can handle imax 3 you can handle drill max.
It is a toughie. Push ups off the ball..
Push ups then twist.
Char, you will like the bicep work.
I would not recommend doing this one the day after butts and guts.
Works the butt really good.Firewalkers, squats, walking lunges, etc.
These are totally different than anything she has done before. Alot of ball work.
She has not used more than 10# weights.

I got my soaps today and just tried the scintillating soap. I love it!!! This was a sample so I will get the bigger bar next time. I got:
Embargo, Nightshade, Dedadence and Chicory Roast.

I think I already like Mum Moon. I will put in on tonight and contemplate about it, k? Nosey me sees that your auctions are doing quite well with the tricks and the treats. You should put all 4 samples up by themselves..you will make even more. JMHO.

Just finished up PlyoX. I even did double time tuck jumps! That's a biggie for me.:)

Char- Thanks! I get called skinny all the time too. I hate it when people say "I bet you don't eat anything". I'm like, WTF? I've got to quit saying I'm gettting too much muscle because it's just not there. LOL! I really only feel it when I put on a jacket or a shirt with sleaves. I wear tank tops and shorts way to often. So, when I actually dress, I notice it. But like you and DS, my pants are falling off. LOL! So, what is your rotation? Is this a day by day or from a book or something?

Meg- Thanks! I know some of those yoga poses are amazing! I'm so freakin proud of myself now that I finally conquered the "Crow pose". That's a toughie. Can't imagine some of those contortionist moves. LOL!

Storm- Thanks! I'm liking what I hear about Drill Max. You cracked me up with the "boobagram". LOL!

Lora-Try to get some more pics with you and one of the guys in the group! I love that one in your avatar!

DS- Rests do make a big difference sometimes.

Charlotte - I thought about doing that but I need to get rid of some imps that are selling....thus the 3 packs. The same ones tend to sell over and over and I get stuck with stuff I already have made up. I love Embargo. Did she make that a regular catalog soap? I thought it was a Temporary Insanity one?? Scintillating............mmmmmmm.....me addicted. (Can't believe you never have done Imax 3 ...that's one of my favorite workouts and there's no balls in it!!!!).

Dallys - I just checked out your pic. Can't see them from work, as my computer blocks them. You look great. I guess I'm the only one with a fat bloated belly. I have been conversing via email with Amy Bento regarding belly bloat and IBS. I have IBS and I know that my stomach blows out due to that....and she was going to have one of her friends email me that has the same problem. Haven't heard from her yet. I think she may have forgotten. I don't think you're too muscular....although I tend to prefer the muscular feminine look, but when you can tell you pump iron. I can't get any pics with the Chili Peppers....cuz I'm not going to get to meet them. The only reason I got the Buckcherry ones is because they had a special thing going on on their website for presale tickets and if you bought a block of so many tickets, you got to go to a Sound Check and meet the band. I did meet the Chili Peppers once ....Californication Tour. I won a contest in Columbus and got to go back stage and meet them. I have pictures that were taken with him signing stuff for me....but no actual "me and anthony" type photo. (I only get called skinny by fat people and that doesn't count!! LOL - and when you have a mini JLo Butt ....how can you be skinny?? --I've been told I have a JLo butt.....but I don't think it's quite that large!)

Megadoo - You're not allowed to take cameras in a concert venue. They'll conviscate it!! Our seats are sort of far back also....we're on the floor about where the Sound Board usually is at a concert. It's sort of far back....but not REAL far back.

I'm ready to kick my DH to the curb. He doesn't want to go tomorrow and he's griping that he's going to quit going to concerts and saying I'm not going to "be allowed" to go either! He says he's too old! He's 3 years younger than me.....maybe I need to trade him in for a younger model???
