Thanks for the information. Gonna check it out. Like more ideas like that one. I didn't know your dh had the similiar issue I have with my shoulder. I hate this. I really do. I know I won't be able to push myself with weights like this. Gosh darn it. I will make it thru somehow.

Towards the end, it was not easy. Then I sat down to sort thru laundry. Got up and was like...whoa. lol. Have not been to a Halloween party since forever. Maybe last one I was 12 or something.
BTW, hope your arm feels better soon. We should start a injury check in or something. Something like...Maniacs gone stark raving mad and now crippled....check in here. lol.

Yeah, DH has had almost the same shoulder problem. He's had it for a couple of years. He used to keep going heavy and then he'd hurt it, have to rest for a week or so, lift heavy, hurt it... rinse and repeat. He is getting much better gains at sticking with a little bit lighter weight and a few more reps, because he hasn't got the injury again and hasn't had to take time off. It was a super hard adjustment for him, but he has excepted it. LOL! You just have to be real careful. Sometimes heavier is not better.:( I guess our bodies have limitations, and like to let us know about them.

Yeah, gotcha. I think I might need to do just that. Not sure I will be able to workout tomorrow. Stinks. I will watch pyscho and eat donuts...no, just kidding! No donuts...movies, yes.

I live............long day.

I'm watching Barry's Bootcamp. He's a freakin' maniac.....lots of plyos, jump rope, jumping on the step for the non treadmill cardio and the treadmill cardio is an interval cardio.

This is the set

Full Body - 50" all body weight exercises
Shoulders and Back 30 min with 30 treadmill and 30 non treadmill cardio
Butt and Legs 30 min " "
Chest and Abs 30 min" with " "
Arms and Abs 30 min with " "

Each cardio segment on the DVD is different from the previous cardio segment. Of course, they are VERY bootcamp like. Lots of yelling to motivate and like I said........he's nuts. You know when they look tough.....doing them is even tougher. Haven't really previewed much of the weights yet, but from what I watched, it's high reps. I'll probably play around with these and maybe do days where I go heavy and do less reps and just do 2 sets while they do their one long set of 25....etc.

I can't decided how to form a rotation. I'm stumped. It's been a long day. I've gotta go watch GH.

The music in these is good, but not quite as good as I thought it'd be. I was expecting Tae Bo (Live music - the good old days). It's more of a techno/hip hop groove beat with vocals. Don't get me wrong, it's good, but not FANTASTIC. There is an audio off version to listen to your own music....which I'm sure I'll do occasionally.

Dallys - I'm not a certified instructor, I've taught step class for the community education in town for about 10 years. I absolutely love it and Cathe has definitely helped me put a new spin on all my routines. I've always thought about getting certified, but just haven't done it yet.

Hey guys - which one of Cathe's workouts is close to Muscle Max? The Hardcore Series are the only ones I don't have and I have that on the rotation for tomorrow so I need a substitute. Thanks.....

I'm having some really good wild rice soup and then headed to the couch to relax a little before bed. :)

Marcia - You really need to invest in the Hardcore workouts, especially MM. I'd use Power Hour or Muscle Endurance in its place but those two aren't quite like MM since you can go heavy with MM. If you want, you could always do the exercise Cathe is doing in PH or ME and just go slower with the reps and use heavier weights.
