Hello, Adri, and thanks for your interest in music for aqua -

Actually I use a variety of music types and speeds; I do use some step-speed music but not much. Usually my music goes from 150 - 160 bpm, with some mid-range stuff thrown in (between 135-145 bpm) for power moves and every now and then step speed stuff. I know a lot of aqua types say that you shouldn't go over about 140 bpm but I think that's crap.

Lisa- I am on prednisone, 5 mg, and plaquenil, and baby aspirin, calcium a day. It seems to work for a bit, but then boom, it comes back with a vengence. I am pretty sure that too much stress helps to bring on a flare up. The more flare ups I have the better chance of it moving into my lungs. Really don't want that. That is another reason fitness is so important to me, to keep my insides healthy.

I just did 5 miles on the TM. I feel so great, cardio wise. That is the longest stretch I have done on the TM. I popped my Seether CD in and my earphones, and took off.
