Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for Friday November 2

Morning Maniacs -

Just got up a little bit ago as I worked late last night. Couldn't fall asleep last night. Too wound up. I don't like these shifts.

Off to do an Amy Total Body Premix. Be back later.
 
Good Morning, I started my workout with Kelly Coffey Cardio Step Box stopping at the stretch then did 4Day Split Kickbox cardio and stretch. I think I may just do abs and yoga. I really wanted to do a circuit or total body today but was hoping to have Amy's workouts. Amy e mailed me and the estimated Fed X delivery was supposed to be yesterday. My grandchildren will be here today so I will probably not want to try something new this afternoon. BBL

I ended up doing Amy Bento's Slo-Mo Total Body Premix which was 66". It ended up taking me an hour and 17 minutes and I burned 470 calories. This was a good workout but a lot of equipment changes, weight changes, etc. I also did Back Care Yoga 30".

I have to be fast cuz I was taking my time and piddling around and I got a call from my foot doctor. I have a job interview this morning. The job would be far away from my house (30") and the hours are 7:00 am 4:30 pm and on one day 7:00 to 7:00 pm .....so I'll have to start getting up at 1:30 AM!!!! if I get the job. We'll see what happens.

I can't say enough good about Amy's Slo Mo. I highly recommend it for everyone, as she uses very innovative and unique moves for almost every body part I worked. I was VERY impressed and the slow count and heavy weight really got a burn going. The Core section was no exception! I've never seen such a unique core routine. Two thumbs up. Hope you get yours today Diane Sue.

Off to finish eating my oatmeal and get ready for my interview.
 
I went for a run with my cousin this morning. We were both pushing strollers. We did good, but it was cold! If I have time, I am going to do BBC chest and abs. We are supposed to meet tomorrow morning for another run, without kids!

Mornin'!

This morning I did CC#6 with Candace. I think it's going to take me just a little more time to get my cardio back! Nonetheless, I had a good workout. I was pooped! The bad news - I'm still with this sore throat. Maybe it's just a new way of life for me. The good news - I haven't had a migraine for quite some time. YIPPEEE!!!!

Diane Sue - Have fun with the grandkids today. :)

Lora - Good luck on the interview! When is it?

Meg - Whenever I run I get sore quads - since I don't do it very often. I hope you enjoyed it.

I hope to only work until 1:30 or 2 today. Fingers crossed.

I finished my workout with the core work from 4 day split and several segments of Shiva Rheas Yoga Shatki. I saw a Fed X truck drive through our cul de sac a while ago but her didn't stop here. I am wondering if those dvds are going to show today.

I did fit in BBC chest and abs. My chest is feeling pretty pumped. Gonna be sore. I liked this one, the instructor was pretty good.
Where is everyone today?
I have had a decent day so far. Good WO's, been cleaning, painted my nails, chilled with my son. Gotta work tonight, all weekend actually. I made $150 last night, so another night like that would be great!!

Diane Sue - That's weird. I hope they didn't accidentally forget to stop earlier. :( I hate that when I'm anxiously awaiting something like that and you KNOW it's supposed to be there.

Meg - I bet your son enjoyed some special "mom" time. I hope you get some good tips this weekend. Good job on the workouts!

I found my dvd's. I went out to trim back my hydrangia bush and it was behind the bushes. Not where you could see it on the door step. I ran in and did the core work and looked over the premixes. Tomorrow I plan on doing Hi Lo Dome. I want to do the step workout before I try the circuit premixes.

Hey Maniacs!!!

Got on elliptical last night. Burned 350 cals and traveled 4 miles (I tell son I "traveled" and he laughs at me)lol. He wanted to know where I visited. I cannot tell him that though. It is a ungodly place. Anyhoo, I just put on Seether and thought about my ex manager and put the elliptical on level 15 and was like running thru a swamp. lol. Kept it on random so sometimes level would go down to 12, 9, etc. I am gonna do this on higher levels for now on because I am just sick like that. hehe No, really because it builds muscle. :p :+

Today..I pouted. Did only some grocery shopping. Missing hubby. Sometimes I don't miss him as much though..tonight I do. No one around. What happen to my life?????? ;(
 
Just got back from returning an ipod classic. We decided an external hard drive was a better way to store movies. Takes up to much space on the computer. Eating has been pretty good today. I ate my leftover shrimp soup from Oxygen Nutrition issue but added some more Kidney beans to it after my workout. Later I had a salad with spinach and mixed greens, feta cheese, an apple and fat free apple, cranberry walnut Naturally Fresh salad dressing. I really like this dressing. I like that these are really low in sodium as well. Dinner is a Macdonalds SW grilled chicken salad. I baked a crustless low fat cheese cake with light tofu, fat free cream cheese, fat free sour cream and I spread Strawberry fruit spread over it. I will probably have a slice of this later.

Charlotte, I am sorry you are missing your dh tonight. I bet he misses you too. Great workout. You are an animal LOL I do know how you feel though. Mine is gone most Saturdays. Busy with meetings etc.. I really do love having him here with me.

Hi guys I'm back:)
I had to be in the hospital for since sat. I havent worked out since fri of last week but i've hardly eaten anything hospital food is gross! But I didnt eat any carbs or sugars since I couldnt workout!
I will start Cathes Nov rotation tomorrow:)

Diane Sue - Good thing you found your workouts! I wonder how long they were there?

Char - I'm sorry you're missing your DH. :( Like you and Diane Sue, I love spending time with my DH. I hate it when he's gone. People have a really hard time understanding that. My girlfriends are always trying to get me to do stuff and I'm careful not to overbook myself. It can be a tricky balance.

Randi - I didn't know you were in the hospital! I'm glad you're out now. :)
