Diane Sue - I'm sorry that you haven't been sleeping well. That's not good. Today at the neurologist he asked me if I wanted to go to a higher dose of one of the pills I'm on. I asked him if it would make it harder for me to get up in the morning or if it would make me fall asleep earlier at night. He said it might so I said no thanks. I went from 8 migraines in September to 3 in October and only 1 so far in November. So I'm going to see how it goes. He said I'm on a "baby" dose of that drug and that's just fine by me. Three migraines is SO MUCH BETTER than 8 in my book! And I don't want to have a harder time waking up in the morning. I used to wake up so early without an alarm and now half the time I need my alarm. I hate that. The great news is that I don't have to go back for 3 months instead of a month! Yay!!! He brought up the weight thing again, but I told him I'd been sick, so he seemed okay with that and we didn't argue about it.

It sounds like you feel like I do with the meds. To me the less the better. I would rather my body handle things by itself:) I don't know how many meds I have thrown away or that are just sitting in the cabinet. I think if they said it was life or death then I would have to take it:) Yeah on 3 months.

Edited to add meals today were not excellent
Coffee upon waking
meal 1 soy, fat free cream cheese crustless cheesecake with strawberry fruit spread. 2 servings
meal 2 salad with a small apple, feta cheese sprinkles on it, onion and apple walnut fat free low sodium dressing
meal 3 Slim fast optima snack bar chocolate mint(more junk)
snack decaf chai tea with light soy milk
dinner zucchini, onion, tomato, stir fry with fat free sour cream with 1/2 cup brown rice

Suz - what are you on again for the migraines? Did you see when I posted about migraines a while back? I mentioned that if I rough out the first couple days of a migraine when I start my period, they seem to go away in 3-4 days, but if I take a Zomig on the initial headache onset, the headaches seem to last 7-9 days and see unbearable. I was wondering if the Zomig's caused rebound headaches? Has your doctor ever mentioned this? I notice I get migraines when the weather changes too. I'm glad you're getting some headache relief.

Lora - I must have missed that post. If I take Zomig I'll puke. :p I can't stand that stuff. Isn't it funny how different meds affect people differently? I don't know about Zomig causing rebound headaches. What I'm on daily to manage my migraines is Topamax and Trazodone. The one he asked me if I wanted to increase was the Trazodone. I'm only on 50mg. I'm on 100mg of Topamax. That's really more drugs than I'd like in my body every day. He did say I still need to avoid my triggers, meaning I'll still have problems with inhalers. :(
